We breakdown everything from when we first got to campus, preseason lift tests, fall ball, and of course every facet of our spring season. This was definitely a year with a lot of ups and downs, fun moments, awesome memories, and it finished off with a tough goodbye to our graduating seniors in the locker room. On today’s episode of the Lax Lounge we have quite the show in store as we talk with one of our earliest super fans Dillon McManus. Dillon touches on growing up in the lacrosse hotbed of Long Island, how his transition to Cabrini was coming from Bates College, the gourmet dining hall experience he had while in Maine, and how he was able to adjust to Cabrini both on and off the field. From there we ask him about how he feels being recently named Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year, and the difference he’s seen from last year to this year playing in the blue and white. On today’s episode of the Lax Lounge we sit down with lifetime Sixers fan Gerry Ulatowski to live watch Game 5 between the Celtics and 76ers. Gerry talks about the basketball career he never had, injuries he’s had throughout his playing days, and especially the incident that put him out for the fall lacrosse season. Throughout the game we hear his perspective on growing up as a Sixers fan and some takes about how the team drafted during “the process” years. From there we shift momentarily to lacrosse recapping our conference championship victory over the weekend. The guys share their favorite parts of the game and look forward to our first round trip to Boston for the NCAA tournament.
