The comeback bid fell short, however, as the Cavaliers held on for an 81-70 victory. Hannah Hidalgo led the Irish with 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The performance moved Hidalgo into fourth place on Notre Dame’s all-time scoring list with 2,132 career points. The loss drops the Fighting Irish to 15-9 and 7-6 in ACC play.
