A surviving perspective of learning to live with PTSD. Trials and tribulations with therapies, past , present and a hopeful future. Addictions, other diagnosed mental disorders associated. Everyday life can be a challenge, the bad days can get really bad. Others have given up and lost their battle, why am I different or am I? Everyday the goal is to survive. A bonus is gaining a better quality of life in survivorship. Understanding PTSD is near impossible if you aren't diagnosed with it but there are ways to effectively support your surviving friend, family member, loved one, co-worker or fellow human being. Not all trauma is the same, my background is from a 20 year Law Enforcement perspective. Unfortunately , I didn't make it out unscathed . Many may not but many have. This channel is not medical advice and is the perspective of a diagnosed PTSD patient under medical care. There is hope in surviving and even gaining a better quality of life.
