    Ep #506 Limberlost Interview

Explosive. Fierce. Unapologetic. Limberlost kicks off 2026 with a re-imagined version of their 2023 only released in Europe, fan-favorite anthem "Give it to Me", transforming it into a modern rock powerhouse that hits harder than ever. Reborn from its original roots, this version fuses high-energy guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and powerhouse vocals that redefine the band’s signature sound. “Give It to Me (Redux)” is a declaration of strength, passion, and pure rock ’n’ roll adrenaline — a sonic punch that dares listeners to take back their Power and Claim what’s theirs. With production that’s both cinematic and raw, it bridges classic rock intensity with a cutting-edge alternative edge, appealing to fans of Halestorm, Evanescence, Linkin Park, and The Pretty Reckless. Lyrically, the song captures the hunger for authenticity and emotional connection in a world of noise and distraction — a cry for something real and uncompromising. Backed by their acclaimed new album Beautiful Scars, three SMR Top 50 singles, and 2 award winning videos with over a million views each, Limberlost proves once again that their fire only burns hotter with time. Turn it up, feel the pulse, and demand it all — this is “Give It to Me” like you’ve never heard it before. Limberlost is a powerhouse American rock band delivering a bold fusion of modern and classic rock with soaring vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and thunderous rhythms. Known for their anthemic sound, raw energy, and emotionally charged storytelling, they create music that resonates with fans of classic rock legends and contemporary rock revivalists alike. Their songs capture themes of strength, resilience, and empowerment, making them a force in the rock scene. With a commanding stage presence and dynamic compositions, Limberlost is redefining female-fronted rock, bringing authenticity, passion, and rock authority to audiences worldwide. Limberlost’s rise is backed by Paul Crosby Management, led by Paul Crosby, drummer of the multi-platinum rock band Saliva. His industry expertise and strategic vision have positioned the band for massive success in today’s rock landscape. Limberlost is known for their captivating female led vocals. Leads Brittany Lauren and Sammie Gorham both classically trained and accomplished opera singers that bring their beauty, power and precision to cut through rock’s sometimes predictable expectations. Adding to their momentum is the recent addition of Metal Hall of Fame bass player Steve Unger, known for his work with legendary bands Metal Church and Autograph. His veteran stage presence and technical prowess bring a new depth to Limberlost’s already dynamic sound, elevating their live performances and recording capabilities to the next level. If that’s not enough the addition of Steve’s son Devon Unger on Lead Guitar. Not only can his melodies mesmerize, and his shredding solos make you want to scream “Hell Ya!” but he will have the ladies eating out of his hands. Wrap it up with Anthony Ciarochi on Keys and Mike Burt (Founder) on drums. Two solid industry veterans that anchor the stage presence and the sound.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-loud-spot-with-sebastian--6219635/support.

    Ep #496 Interview with Eightball

The 80’s. A damn great decade to experience. Some were born into it, some lived thru it but no one forgot about it. It was the perfect storm for music. The first British wave hit in the sixties with the Beatles. The 70’s had arena rock, then disco and it came and went. Then in 1979 the new wave of British metal stormed the States but this time it was a whole different sound. The bands were turning their amps up to 11 (See Spinal Tap). When the LA bands got wind of the new sound, they ran with it and out of it came a new look and a new sound was born. “Metal”. Gone were the long 15 minute jam band songs. With the birth of MTV and music videos bands started writing great rock song anthems with screaming vocals, and two guitar attacks. Guys grew their hair long and raided their girlfriends wardrobe and make-up kits. That my friends, is Eight Ball. We’re not a tribute band. We’re not a cover band. We are a rock band that knows how to rock those songs out as well as write our own anthems! As the circus barker says to the gathering crowd ” Step right up! Step right up right now! Ladies and Gents, A marvel that all your eyes and ears must behold, I give you “Eight Ball”.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-loud-spot-with-sebastian--6219635/support.

The single was produced by Antoine Lamothe, with mixing handled by Ben Grosse (Depeche Mode), mastering by Tom Baker (Marilyn Manson), and pre-production by legendary producer Michael Beinhorn (Korn). The drums for the track were recorded on Lars Ulrich’s iconic Black Album kit, adding a historic edge to its crushing sound. The band’s previous single, “Volatile,” made a major impact upon release—surpassing 100k Spotify streams in its first week and 100k YouTube views in just over a week. The track was featured on major editorial playlists including Spotify’s All New Metal, new nü, and Industrial Metal; Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock; and Deezer’s Industrial. The “Volatile” music video premiered at Montreal Fetish Weekend and went on to be selected for the Silver Screenings at the Berlin Music Video Awards (June 2025). The release also generated extensive coverage across top rock and metal outlets along with numerous interviews. Deadly Apples continued their rise with major live shows in 2025, including Welcome to Rockville (Florida) and the Vivo x el Rock Festival (Peru), where they performed on the main stage alongside Avenged Sevenfold and Marilyn Manson. Deadly Apples have built a loyal following thanks to their unique sound and relentless touring schedule, which has seen them share the stage with rock and metal heavyweights around the globe such as Korn, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Deftones, and Rammstein. Fans can stream or download "Sacrifice" on all major platforms. About Deadly Apples: Montreal rock / metal band Deadly Apples – frontman / lyricist Alex Martel and drummer / composer Antoine Lamothe – has forged a reputation for its fierce, unpredictable, and high energy live performances often culminating with Martel diving – and drowning – into the crowd. As rock music – and society – has become increasingly safe and bland, the French-Canadian band has received praise for bringing back the danger and unpredictability to unsuspecting audiences. Accompanied on stage by a touring guitarist and keyboardist / dancer, the Great White North act has showcased its intensity in arenas and stadiums around the globe – United States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Japan – on high-profile tours with Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Deftones and Rammstein, as well as Main Stage slots on festivals such as Hellfest Open Air, Knotfest, Vans Warped Tour, Hell & Heaven Fest and Resurrection Fest. On their new full-length album DISTRESS, Deadly Apples push the limits of their catchy sound to every extreme: darker, deeper, and heavier, yet their most accessible work yet. Interlaced with cinematic atmospheres, poignant melodies, singular screams, gritty analog synths, pummeling drum beats, abrasive guitars, delicate pianos and heartfelt lyrics, DISTRESS is a unique, relevant and modern take on a classic genre that they made their own. Recorded in Los Angeles, the album was produced by Lamothe, mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson) and mastered by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails), with NIN alumni Danny Lohner performing the guitars / bass and Richard Patrick of Filter providing guest vocals. Early pre-production work was also completed with Michael Beinhorn (Korn). Deadly Apples is back and will fucking destroy anyone standing in its path.
