The Lovecast with Dave O Rama - CIUT FM - June 6 2026 - Historical References  This week on The Lovecast, Dave O Rama goes back in time to feature two selections from the historical archives featuring interviews going way back in Lovecast history. This episode features two of some of my favourite interviews from the past. One from 2009 with celebrated and award winning Cuban-Canadian musician Alex Cuba, a talented artist who just won the first ever JUNO Latin Award. And My interview from 2010 with Jamaican reggae legend Clinton Fearon. Clinton is a former member of the legendary Jamaican reggae band The Gladiators. He was also a one time in demand session bass player for legendary Jamaican reggae producers like Coxsone Dodd and Lee "Scratch" Perry. The Lovecast with Dave O Rama - CIUT FM - February 28 2026 - Black President  To conclude our 4-part series celebrating Black History Month, The Lovecast pays tribute to legendary Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, activist, and the father of Afrobeat music, the late great Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The subject of numerous documentary films, in-depth podcasts, and a Broadway musical based on his life. Now, 29 years after his passing, Fela has just been honoured with the 2026 Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement in Music. To celebrate the upcoming 39th Anniversary of CIUT FM, I have edited and formatted a 1992 interview with legendary British bassist and producer Jah Wobble. Wobble is a prolific global fusion musician and a former founding member of the British post-punk band Public Image Ltd. This interview was recorded in 1992 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto during his Rising Above Bedlam tour. This is the first time this Jah Wobble interview has ever been aired. Tragically, the musician perished in a house fire at the exact same time I was completing production of this specific episode. I did not become aware of her death until after this episode of the show had already been submitted for broadcast.
