Business communications is different than in an academic setting, and so how do we become better business communicators? One of the best ways of communicating with others is through storytelling. Reginald Duhe, Professor at Santa Clara University, speaks about the importance of succinct, and clear communication as well as offers tips as to how to become better storytellers!

In this episode, I interview the founder of the non-profit "Wheels-of-Change", Kevin Barber '23. He is currently a sophomore at SCU and is from San Diego, California. I ask Kevin about his journey in starting a non-profit at a young age and he tells us a little bit about how all of us can make a change in our communities through small acts of kindness.

In today's episode, I interview a recent Santa Clara Graduate Faolan Sugarman-Lash. He has his own podcast the "Authentic Path" podcast and a life-fulfillment coaching company. He shares his experiences with his clients and others in order to help people live authentically and let go of their "fake" selves. He talks to us about how college students can go through a similar process as he did, to find what we are all passionate about.

In this episode I interview Libby Wallin, she is an Early ID Recruiting Specialist at Deloitte, the largest Professional Services firm in the world. She talks to us about how students can stand out during the job search, how to better network during the pandemic, and gives her own advice about how to keep pushing through these times of uncertainty. 

In this episode I interview professor Jennifer Woolley, she is an expert in the field of entrepreneurship. Dr. Woolley also participated in the creation of the California Program for Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University, an intensive training program for non-matriculating entrepreneurs. We speak about the importance of entrepreneurship, the steps entrepreneurs need to take to get started, and her own advice for entrepreneurs moving forward.

In this episode, I interview Meir Statman, the Glen Kilmeck professor of Finance at Santa Clara University. We discuss the future of behavioral finance and talk about his book Finance for Normal People. Dr. Statman provides his financial advice for students graduating and entering the workforce.
