It’s that time of the year again! The biggest post-rock, post-metal, post-adjacent festival in the US is here, and I want to talk about it! The Lunar Orbit is back just in time for July 4th, and for America’s 250th anniversary I thought it would be a fun idea to walk people through a little tour of post-rock in the US. Starting with Slint and Rodan back in the 90s through to Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You and ending up with bands like Grails and Russian Circles. Einstein theorized that objects experiencing a greater gravitational pull will be subjected to time dilation, meaning the more gravity, the slower time passes. Happy New Year! It's finally cold outside, a winter storm is brewing - what better time than to listen to this winter wonderland of an episode!
