Chapter 37: Become Her | Identity, Anxiety, Imposter Syndrome & Letting Go
🎙️ Chapter 37: Become Her | Identity, Anxiety, Imposter Syndrome & Letting GoYour girl is back 💫After taking time away to reset, rejuvenate, and reconnect with myself, I’m opening up in one of my most personal episodes yet.Turning 37 brought more than birthday celebrations… it brought reflection.Who am I in this season? What happens when the version of you that once felt familiar no longer fits? What do you do when anxiety gets loud, imposter syndrome creeps in, and you’re trying to rediscover yourself while grieving old versions of who you used to be?In this episode, I’m getting real about:✨ My journey from radio to healthcare to where I am now✨ Why I stepped away from podcasting✨ The meaning behind rebranding from The Shake Up Podcast to The LuvHer Podcast✨ Identity shifts, anxiety & nervous system overwhelm✨ Fighting imposter syndrome in adulthood✨ Dying to titles, validation, likes, comments & being accepted✨ Learning to let go of old versions of myself to evolve into who God is calling me to beWe’re also diving into faith and scripture, including 1 Peter 5:6–9, Luke 9:23–25, and what it really means to trust God while becoming.Because maybe what feels like falling apart……is actually transformation. And maybe God isn’t asking you to find who you were.Maybe He’s asking you to trust who you’re becoming.✨ Welcome back, Shining Stars. Let’s talk.

Your Voice is Your Power: Stop Shrinking, Start Speaking
In this episode of The LuvHer Podcast, we’re talking about the power of your voice and what it means to stop shrinking just to make other people comfortable. Too many of us have been taught to stay quiet, play small, avoid conflict, and swallow what we really feel. But your voice carries power, truth, healing, and direction. This episode is for the person who has felt overlooked, rejected, silenced, or afraid to speak up. We’re unpacking how losing your voice can cost you your peace, your identity, and your purpose — and how using it can change everything.Because sometimes the breakthrough starts when you finally say:“This is who I am. This is what I need. This is what I deserve.”

Celebrate the Small Wins
In Episode 4 of The LuvHer Podcast, we’re shifting our perspective on success. Not every win comes with confetti and applause — sometimes the most important victories are the quiet ones no one else sees. From emotional healing to personal discipline and spiritual growth, we’re talking about why learning to celebrate small victories is one of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make.Reflection question:Do you celebrate your small victories?

Loving Yourself Through Reintervention
In this episode of The Luv Her Podcast, we’re talking about what it really means to love yourself through reinvention. Not the revenge glow-up. Not the aesthetic rebrand. Not becoming “better” so someone else finally chooses you. This is about identity recalibration.Reinvention requires grief. It requires detaching from old roles, old patterns, and old versions of yourself that survived situations you’ve now outgrown. It means sitting with discomfort instead of chasing closure. It means choosing peace over potential. It means becoming unavailable for what once broke you.In this episode, we unpack:• Why growth feels like loss before it feels like freedom • The difference between healing and proving • How to regulate your nervous system during identity shifts • What loving yourself looks like in action — not just affirmation • The three phases of reinvention and how to know where you are If you’ve been grieving who you were, who you thought someone was, or the future you imagined — this conversation is for you.Reinvention isn’t about becoming unrecognizable. It’s about becoming aligned.Press play. Let’s evolve.

"Seeds of Greenwood", An OKC Thunder Film
A century after the Tulsa Race Massacre, Seeds of Greenwood explores how today’s generation is being planted and nurtured within the fertile soil of Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District. The film follows the birth of the Thunder’s innovative after-school program, Thunder Fellows, and the inspirational journeys of students in the inaugural class. The Oklahoma City Thunder and CAA Sports developed the concept for Thunder Fellows following the murder of George Floyd and just prior to the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre.“Thunder Fellows’ curriculum equips Black high school students in Tulsa with knowledge, skills and connections that can lead to careers in professional sports, entertainment and technology,” said Cedric Ikpo, Thunder Fellows executive director. “It’s exciting to share on film what we’ve seen every day in this first year - how Thunder Fellows is making a difference for these kids and the community.”For the project, OKC Thunder Films partnered with Notis Studios, a Black-owned film and music production company located in northeast Oklahoma City. Notis used local talent to compose and record four original songs for the film. Their songs Greenwood Roads, Good Morning, Look Out World, and My Life Be Like have a strong rhythm and blues vibe with compelling lyrics that capture the resilient nature of the Greenwood District and the promise of the Thunder Fellows students. The four songs will be available for streaming and download on Spotify, Apple Music and other services in the coming days.

Fake It Til You Make It
Everyone has heard or used the phrase, “fake it til you make it”. But no one ever talks about the cost of doing that. Like at what cost do we pretend that we are okay? How many fake smiles do we have to wear until our anxiety, fears and traumas are passed by and over looked. Society today says, by 25 you’re supposed to be married with children, have at least three cars and a big house, with a white picket fence and taking trips every month to Miami, Italy and Dubai. Imagine spending close to ten years feeling broken, traumatized, depressed and full of anxiety. You can fake it til you make it if you want too but God knows the truth!
