Pure madness from two Boston crazies

The is the kind of stuff you could only get away with as a free-range kid in the 80's... In this episode, the boys hazily recount their crazy youth again with death-defying tales of "Fire-Races" in the bull rushes.  A narrow escape from the Great General Edwards Bridge Fire that shuts down Rt.1A in the North Shore for two weeks will have you shaking your head in disbelief.  Take a perilous ride with them on an iceberg across the frozen abyss of the Saugus River.  Grab hold of the rusted, chrome bumper of the 75 Chevy Impala as they relive high-speed  "bumper-jumping" crashes along Pines Road in Revere.   It's truly a wonder they are still alive.  WARNING: There is some extremely inappropriate banter around the 42 minute mark of this show.  It is going to sound pretty harsh, even by our standards.  But because of a legal contract I signed, I had to remove quite a bit of the content leading into the segment.  As a result, the seemingly harsh words are presented completely out of context and our intent should not be judged on a literal basis.  The segment was just so damned funny, instead of completely removing it, I decided to salvage it.

Bitterman finally calls bullshit on McGruff when the puck is dropped at the beginning of this episode and the gloves come off.  Disclaimer:  this banter is unlike anything you've heard from us in the past.  Stick around  'til the second period intermission when renown sports analyst - Dave "The Mick" from Bar Fly Sports joins us for his usual insightful and informative, local, sports commentary (when he can get a word in edge-wise between us two idiots).  Stay with us through the 3rd period  to learn more about the rare and mysterious phenomenon of the Bentley College hockey goaltender prone to spontaneous combustion on the ice.  The boys recount their inglorious street hockey days of yesteryear and explore the magic of the cinematic gem - "Airplane".    Long live Jeff Beck!

In the episode unofficially referred to as "Dead Man Walking" Bitterman sounds like he's on his last leg but like Xander Bogaerts, still manages to drag his ass on the field. McGruff takes the proverbial bull by the horns, drives the show into the ground, drags it through the mud and doesn't bother to clean it up afterwards.  So basically you get slightly subdued banter from these guys on topics ranging from: The Mighty Led Zeppelin, the dismembered Red Sox, the complex character arc of Bug's Bunny, the cultural significance of The Adam's Family;  the coolness of Steve McQueen; Putin's late season trade for the Merchant of Death for a lesbian soccer star and a hostage to be named later; and why soccer, under any name, still sucks. You also get a taste of new fan favorite: "Tales from the Boo-bird Lounge" as well as Brian's latest encounter with a Jehovah Witness and why this experience might just prove healthy for his prostrate.
