The Meister Menagerie

As we are ramping things up over here at the Meister Menagerie home base we present you another short episode featuring a interveiw from Mission Infect general and member of the Dirtcore roster: The God Mumm Ra! Together Zak and Ra talk about music, bounty hunting and comics. 

Welcome back to another episode where Zak does some Menagerie esque things. Todays episode is another short episode where we start with updates and then get right into the interview. This episodes guest is BatiBatt, solo metal artist and member of Neon Sermon. Together they talk about her upcoming rap album, favorite fantasy Novels and films. 

Zak is currently on vacation in Denver attending Gorefest. So todays episode is short and sweet. Going straight into the guest portion of the podcast we present Deady Casket. Together they talk about fashion, music, spooky stories for kids and more! 

This episode Zak loses his entire mind. But in a good way! After the updates we get right into movie reviews discussing Alien Romulus, The Crow and Strange Darling. Finally Zak is joined by rap duo MadopellI Music to talk about... Well Music! (Amongst other things). Join us for a riveting discussion. 

Zak is back to his regular scheduled programming! Today is a full episode including a solid 15 minutes of Tom Abuse. Then we hit the movie reviews running with Deadpool x Wolverine, Trap and Cuckoo. Then Zak is joined by the juggalo's most wanted himself; MidnightInYami. Whether you love it or hate it come join these two in a very entertaining conversation about music, drama and pop culture media. 

On todays episode Zak takes a break from long winded monologues and is instead joined by his manager and manager of dirtcore artists; Bando, for a long winded dialogue to discuss video games, manga/anime, life and more! 

Todays episode is simple, Zak talks about movies. Boy Fights World, Rebel Moon part 2, Maxxxine and Long Legs. Then zak rants about stuff he doesnt like in movies. The End. 

This is most certainly an episode. Today Zak talks about more artificial intelligence! It has been a while since he has brushed up on that subject. Then Zak talks about BEEF. Its Trump V Biden, Drake V Kendrick, Mac Lethal V Mac dongus and Skitz Kraven V everyone. YOU DONT WANT TO MISS THIS! Finally Zak is joined by horrorcore artist Rook Mewsick to discuss music and film. 

This episode starts off with Zak abusing Tom because that hasnt happened in a while and Tom deserves it. Then we get into the movie reviews and there was oh so much to cover. Godzilla X Kong: New Empire, Fall Out, The Coffee Table, Eric and Baby Reindeer were all subject to Zak's studious brain juice. Then finally Zak is joined by esteemed guest, Crossworm. Crossworm may be known for his roots in "horrorcore" but truly his musical talents bend genre at his will like some kind of freaky Charles Xavier that can actually walk. Coining the monicker Dirtcore; a more than suitable name to describe not only his signature sound but his label as well. With 20 plus years of musical history wrapped up in a touching immigrant story this is an episode you don't want to miss. Also this was voted best episode by the possums in my dumpster out back. Im drunk when i wrote this. 

This episode Zak gives updates and shares exciting news! then forgoing this episodes movie review segment he gets right into it with this episodes guest: Gutta Priest!  Gutta Priest is a Horrorcore emcee hailing from Texas. Together they talk about music, shows and the harsh realities of life. 

Zak is finally back from Japan and spends this whole episode hogging the mic! Starting off with updates per usual. Then he shares his thoughts on the Drake Vs Kendrick Lamar beef. Moving on to film reviews he discusses Parasyte: The Grey & The Gentlemen. Finally Zak spends the guest portion of this episode going over his adventures in the land of the rising sun. 

This marks the 50th episode of the Menagerie and to celebrate Zak, Diastro and Hans all get intoxicated and indulge in debaucherous conversations. Nobody should listen to this episode ever. You have been warned. 

Today Zak is joined by Samson Samson to pick up where they left off after they were so rudely interrupted by a power failure. This episode is a underground tabloid rag piece where they talk about drama, beef and speculate on the current state/future of the scene.

Then Zak is joined by Mami Blush to just discuss. theres no real direction they just exist. 

Can you believe Zak has been hosting The Meister Menagerie for two years now? This episode marks the second anniversary of the podcast and to celebrate Zak gets drunk and reviews movies! In preparation for his trip to Japan he talks about Tokyo Vice, Tokyo Drift, Shin Kamen Rider and Shogun! There is no guest this episode in honor of all the subscribers who listen to the show regardless of who makes and appearance. Thank You!

Zak is back with another fully fledged episode of the Menagerie. Starting off with updates because of course. Then getting into the film reviews Zak talks about Divinity, Hazbin Hotel and the Halo season two premier. Then we are blessed by the presence of Samson Samson to talk about music, anime and video games.... But mostly anime!

This week Zak takes his time putting humpty dumpty back together again leaving everyone with a short episode. Starts off with giving updates in regards to new music and Biomass #2. Then is joined by the master of puppets himself, Jon Bristol. Jon is the creative director at Elmwood Productions, a company that combines two of Zak's favorite things; Film and Puppets!

Today's episode starts off with updates straight from the horses mouth (and by horse we mean Zak). Then we get into some of the most recent and unfortunate news in regards to artificial intelligence. Moving onto the film portion, we talk about the movie Poor Things and the show Monarch Legacy of Monsters. Finally Zak is joined by legendary MC Insane Poetry to take a slice out of hip hop history. 

We kick the new year off with some news and updates. Then Zak talks movies and when we say talks. WE really mean it. Reviewing Leave the World Behind, Rebel Moon, Ride Your Wave, Your Name and Suzume! Finally Zak is joined by underground artist Gavyn Gunn to talk about music and the scene at large. 

Golly Gee Wilickers batman, Zak actually put out another full podcast episode that wasnt half assed! This episode starts off by bombarding the listener with reviews of movie after movie. Onyx The Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, Thanksgiving, The Boy and the Heron, Godzilla Minus One, Squid Game: the Challenge and thats not all! If that didnt make you want to get out of bed and wash your a** then buckle in because the second half of the show Zak is joined by none other than Kung Fu Vampire himself! Where KFV shares his unique perspective as a genre bending independent force of nature.

We are back with another FULL episode (finally). Starting with updates as always before getting into the real meat and potatoes. Zak asks the important questions... Is Usher an independant artist? Is Taylor Swift really a dolphin? Is the new AI assited Beatles song any good? These are the things the people really wanna know! Now that both the writers and actors strikes are finally over Zak can review whatever the hell he wants. This time around he takes a surgical knife to Gen V, Invincible and "The Tunnel to Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes". Finally Zak is joined by the South African jenkum huffing cannibal rap group; Mensvreters! For their first ever interview to discuss their music and film projects.  

This episode is short and not so sweet. Zak gives updates and then talks about his spooky ghost hunting adventure to get into the Halloween Spirit. Due to unforseen circumstances Zak is not joined by a guest but instead fights a band of ravenous gerbils. 

Back to our regularly scheduled programming; Zak gives updates about his foot injury, upcoming shows and new music releases. It wouldnt be The Meister Menagerie without film reviews! Taking an inside look at Castlevania: Nocturne and When Evil Lurks just in time for spooky season. Then Zak is joined by OneZHipHop to discuss life, music and the underground scene. 

Are you a procrastinator? Or did you grow out of that like a regular adult? Well Zak sure as hell never grew out of it. Today is another short episode where Zak shares some exciting updates and then gives his review of Dragon Ball Super. Then is joined by underground powerhouse McNastee to talk music, the scene and share some great stories all herein!

This episode Zak clears the air surrounding drama involving a previous guest on the show. Then briefly looks at Doja Cats new music and the effect it has had on the modern day resurfacing of the satanic panic. After that Zak talks about Cobweb and Murder Drones. Finally he is joined by good friend Freakshow to talk about his experience at Gorefest, upcoming projects and much more!

Todays episode starts off with updates! Including the announcement of a comic style team up with Freakshow and T lolirot to throw events called Biomass! Then Zak discusses the current state of the music industry as well as a quick look at Oliver Anthony's controversial single. Next we get into two twisted tales of love dissecting Happy Sugar Life and Oldboy. Finally Zak is joined by Derek Barrus aka Reverend Television to talk music and film plus an inside look at his upcoming project "Ascension Terminal Wellness".

This episode we are celebrating Hip Hops 50th birthday. Zak starts off by sharing his appreciation for the genre as a whole. Then slides on over to address the elephant in the room, Lizzo! Going into some of the allegations surrounding her recent cancellation. It wouldnt be the Meister Menagerie without movie analytics, so Zak does a quick fire review of several indie projects (moving away from struck companies in solidarity of the unions). Finally Zak is joined by underground emcee Marcanum X to discuss his upcoming projects and of course, Hip Hop. 

And were back! Todays episode consists of rants and films and films and rants! Zak tries to further understand the SAG/AFTRA and writers strike. Then goes into some great detail while picking apart The Sound Of Freedom, Secret Invasion and Barbenheimer! Ending the film analysis by addressing some serious concerns of his. Finally Zak talks music with one of the most disturbing icons of horror and sickness! Horrorcore extroardinaire Chuckklez! 

This episode Zak is in good spirits now that Demos & Rejects is available to the public and all orders have been shipped. Slowly but surely leveling up in the world! Then switching tones to talk about the strike currently being held in Hollywood by the WGA and SAG/AFTRA. After criticising the film industry Zak reviews some films including (but not limited to) Nimona! Finally vocalist for band Disrupted Eurphoria, Hannah Rebel joins Zak to talk about.... METAL!!!

It's alive! IT'S ALIVE! Zak rejoices as he discusses finishing the "Demos & Rejects" mixtape. After that brief moment of ecstasy he puts on the thinking cap while dissecting episode one of "Secret Invasion", "Asteroid City" & "The Flash". Finally Zak is joined by "Multi Media Champion" CJ Renegade to talk about his music, twitch streaming and wrestling ventures. 

Zak loses His Mind! Going on a 20 minute rant giving you a long hard look at the behind the scenes process creating his upcoming mixtape "Demos & Rejects". After he gets that out of his system he shares his thougts on Bert Kreischer's debut film "The Machine" and the highly anticipated "Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse". Then Zak is joined by the bone chilling Alt/Goth/Horrorcore artist Jade The Nightmare to discuss her diverse journey in the world of music.

This episode Zak starts off with a life update before working his way into more AI news and the current writers strike in hollywood. Then reevaluates his entire life while taking a long hard look at Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3. Finally Guests Tate & Tony (AKA Arkitate & T Lollirot) join Zak to discuss upcoming projects including but not limited to Back From Death, Morphos Malediction and Synth3tic!

Celebrating his birthday 10 days in a row, Zak decides to keep this episode fairly simple. Instead of an in depth well researched topic, he gets inebriated and reviews some new movies! The highly anticipated "Evil Dead Rise", "Beau Is Afraid" and then shares his final thoughts on "The Mandalorian" season 3 finale. In the later half of the episode Diastro and Hans return to the show for some good ol' locker room shenanigans... And to promote HESHFEST 2023!

If theres one thing we love here in the U.S. it's a good witch hunt! Whether it's Americas favorite charlatan, Tik Tok or Artificial Intelligence the reptiles just simply cannot get enough. However Zak has had it up to his tits and decides to go on a libation fueled tirade in regards to this phenomena. After calming down a bit he gives a honest review of The Super Mario Bros movie and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Finally artist Samson Samson joins Zak to discuss his recent album "Witch Hunt", horrorcore and much much more!

Right off the bat Zak goes full Shia LaBeouf with his "No Excuses" speech directed towards creatives. Moving forward into a comprehensive look at the Tik Tok ban being proposed by Congress. After getting kind of dark we lighten up the mood with TV reviews. Taking a look at Carnival Row season 2, The Mandalorian season 3 and more. Closing the episode out we get to know underground rapper and member of Cerberus Clique, Doc Greusome! 

Zak gives a detailed review of his time at Podcast Movement Evolutions in the city of sin, Las Vegas! Adressing the positives and negatives of the convention while shouting out all his new friends along the way. The second segment of the show takes a quick look at some updates in the world of tech including Ai used to stream line podcasting, Unreal Engine 5 and the new episode of South Park about Chat GPT. Ending the episode with a quaint little interview starring guests Mami Blush and Mary lliffe of Rose Kult

This episode marks the one year anniversary of The Meister Menagerie! Zak Celebrates this landmark of an episode by ranting and raving about the shallow nature of Tik Tok. Then after the break the focus shifts to the train derailment in East Palastine, Ohio. Capping the monlogue portion of the episode off with a quick look at the new seasons of South Park and Wu-Tang: An American Saga. Finally magician Bret Allen joins our beloved host to talk about his career in illusion, including his riveting tale of performing "Penis Magic" at BDSM dungeons. 

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming! This week Zak briefly touches tips with AI Lawsuits, the D&D open gaming license scare and of course Movies! Its "Velma Vs. The Last Of Us" in a bloody death match. Then we get to see who comes out on top in the Lofi indie horror title match "Skinamarink Vs. Terrifier". Finally horrorcore artist Madd Maxxx joins Zak to talk about underground history. 

"Wubalubadubdub" cries Rick & Morty creator Justin Roiland from a Jail Cell. Who Hears his calls? Well virtually everyone has. Due to the sheer amount of content creators covering the story, our team of researcher (Tom) was forced to do some deep digging. Leaving Zak Meister (with his exceptional lack of qualifications) to tackle the big Roiland-adjacent question on everyones mind. Is ones artistic self expression indicative of their character? No matter how Dark? Then up and coming rap phenom Damag3 hops on to discuss music, trans issues and being a trans person in the Hip-Hop arena. 

Beware of the felacious moose! For he hides amongst the living. The entirety of this episode is a discussion between Zak and Arthur Louis Benson II. Arthur is a singer/songwriter and political activist. Together they cover topics about life, social issues and of course who can forget the arts?

New Year New Me! And with the new year comes new topics to discuss. Zak takes a brief look at the DC cinematic universe, the recent rise in sextortion, Andrew Tates arrest and the latest AI Art news. Then Dutch Hip Hop producer Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha joins Zak for an in depth discussion about his career in the underground scene over the last decade. 

What Is the future of Artificial Intelligence? Will artists rise up to defeat the evil robot overlords? Or will the menacing androids put them on Ice Ice Baby? Find out here as Zak Meister hypothesizes about the potentiality of A.I. both in and outside the world of art. Finally rapper, Katie Ladubz (Cult Muzic & San Diablo Allstars) joins Zak for a warm discussion about music and life.
