The Mental Healness Podcast

Welcome to the Mental Healness Podcast, hosted by yours truly, Lee Hammock. If you're new here I have NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) and I've been in therapy for the last 8 years learning how to deal with it and live a better life. From the start I've offered you the rare POV of a diagnosed narcissist but NOW I'm switching it up a little bit. I'm interviewing others that are dealing with their own mental health journeys and those that have dealt with toxic relationship dynamics as well. I'm still sharing my POV just sharing others as well. Collabs ✉ [email protected]

Why Narcissists Use You As A Placeholder (Even When You Give Them Everything)

In this video, I speak directly to the people who keep taking a narcissistic partner back, hoping that one day they’ll finally pick you, appreciate your sacrifices and see your worth. As a clinically diagnosed, self‑aware narcissist, I explain why putting up with cheating, lies, abuse and low effort does not make you more valuable to them, it makes you more expendable, and why they resent you for seeing them at their worst. You’ll hear how narcissists view you as a placeholder, why a “diamond in the wrong hands is just a paperweight,” and why they often discard the very person who helped them level up in life. If you’ve paid their bills, helped them get degrees, raised kids and still got abandoned, this video will give you language and perspective to understand what really happened and why their inability to value you is about them, not your worth. I’ll also give you homework: to ask yourself why being picked by this person feels so important, so you can start choosing yourself instead.Contact me here - https://link.me/mentalhealness

Stop Ignoring Your Gut: How Narcissists Override Your Intuition

In this video, I break down why ignoring your intuition around narcissistic and toxic people almost always ends in regret. As a clinically diagnosed, self‑aware narcissist, I share real coaching stories of hidden families, “just best friends” who were more than friends, and the way manipulators override your gut feeling with charm, lies and love‑bombing. You’ll learn why no one is ever “thrilled” they ignored red flags, how lust and physical attraction can fry your brain, and why bedroom discipline and boundaries are crucial in today’s dating world. If you keep telling yourself “something feels off, but they’re so attractive,” this video will give you language, validation and practical insight to finally trust your intuition. The price you pay for ignoring your gut is almost always higher than the price you pay for following it.Contact me here - https://link.me/mentalhealness

Did They EVER Care About You? A Diagnosed Narcissist Explains

In this video, I tackle one of the most painful questions survivors ask: “Did they ever really care about me, or was it all fake?” As a clinically diagnosed, self‑aware narcissist, I explain how narcissistic people can have a limited emotional capacity, why some can only give you all the 'love they have' and why that still doesn’t excuse abuse. We’ll talk about why you stayed, why they put in such low effort, and how self‑love and boundaries matter more than trying to squeeze real love out of someone who can’t give it. If you’ve built a whole life with a toxic person and now feel like it was all a lie, this video will give you language, perspective, and validation for your healing. Stay to the end for a reminder that you DID matter and why their limitations don’t define your worth.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why Narcissists Hate It When You Block Them Everywhere!

In this video, I break down why narcissists hate it when you block them everywhere—phone, text, social media and email and why their reaction is NOT your fault. As a clinically diagnosed, self‑aware narcissist, I explain how blocking cuts off their narcissistic supply, triggers a massive ego injury, and exposes their need for control. You’ll learn what to expect when you go no contact, how they might rage, hoover, or smear you, and why those behaviors are actually proof that your boundaries are working. If you’re scared to block a toxic ex, parent or friend, this video will give you clarity, language and validation to protect your mental health. Watch to the end for practical tips on staying firm when they try to break through your boundaries.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why You Should Stop Giving Toxic People Second Chances!

In this video, I explain why you should leave the very first time someone lies to you in dating or relationships, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who knows how “little lies” grow into entire fake lives. We’ll talk about why a relationship built on even one dishonest foundation stone will eventually crumble, how age lies on dating apps turn into lies about education, job, and marital status, and why love‑bombers cry and promise “I’ll never lie again” right when you catch them. I’ll walk through the age‑gap story, the way physical attraction and money make people overlook red flags, and how forgiving the first lie almost always leads to discovering a whole pattern of deception later. If you’ve ever found yourself trying to get a liar to change instead of protecting your own reality, this video will give you the clarity and permission to treat that first lie as your exit signal, not a test of how much you can tolerate.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why We Get Too Attached to the Wrong People (with Dr. Shara Ally)

In this episode of the Mental Healness Podcast, I sit down with Dr. Shara Ally; psychiatric nurse practitioner, professor, TEDx Top‑50 Charter Speaker, and creator of the viral #TooAttached Movement to talk about why we get too attached to the wrong people and how to rebuild self‑trust after narcissistic and toxic relationships. We dive into her journey from being the “uncool” hyper‑observant kid to leading global work in mental health, human behavior, and emotional resilience, and we unpack the patterns that keep smart, capable people stuck in cycles of shame, over‑functioning, and chasing validation. Dr. Ally shares insights from her upcoming book You Should Have Known Better, her work with NEUROorganics Inc. and Velora S. Press, and her own experiences of being devalued, name‑called, and undermined by partners who weaponized her success. You’ll hear practical tools for breaking old attachment patterns, rising higher in your career and relationships, and rewriting your story with clarity, courage, and compassion—for yourself and others. Connect with Dr. Ally at sharaally.com or by email at [email protected], and follow her work as she continues redefining emotional resilience and human transformation.

Why Being a “Ride or Die” for a Narcissist Will Emotionally Kill You

Why is being a “ride or die” for a narcissistic or toxic partner is one of the worst decisions you can make, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who’s watched survivors emotionally die in these relationships. We’ll talk about how narcissists play the victim to hook your empathy, convince you that everyone has abandoned them, and turn your loyalty into a one‑way street where you sacrifice friends, family, and boundaries while they give you nothing back. I’ll explain the difference between a real ride‑or‑die bond (symbiotic, both people benefit) and the parasitic version with a narcissist, where your emotional “gold mine” gets pillaged until you barely recognize yourself. If you’ve ever felt like you were riding till you die for someone who wouldn’t cross the street for you, this video will help you name what’s happening, stop confusing exploitation for loyalty, and start choosing your own life over their chaosBook a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why Are Narcissists So Cruel When They Are Finished With You?

In this video, I break down why narcissists and abusive people are so cruel when they’re discarding you, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who has been on the other side of that breakup. We’ll talk about how ego injury and loss of control drive their rage, why they need to see you as “broken” or pathetic to justify leaving, and how smear campaigns, threats, and comparison to “new supply” become tools to repair their own shattered self‑image. I’ll show you the hidden logic behind their cruelty, why they twist the story so you look like the abuser and how that keeps you stuck searching for closure in a situation that was never going to make sense. If you’ve ever wondered why the person who claimed to love you suddenly seemed to enjoy hurting you at the end, this breakdown will give you the clarity you need to stop blaming yourself, recognize the discard for what it is, and start focusing on your own healing.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why the Narcissist Will Never Truly Pick You

In this video, I explain why a narcissist will never truly “pick” you in the way you’re hoping for, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who’s been on the other side of those choices. We’ll talk about how narcissists see partners as temporary “supply,” why they chase newness and fantasy instead of commitment, and what’s really going on when they discard you for someone else and still keep you on the hook. I’ll break down why it was never about you not being enough, how trauma bonds make you fight to be chosen, and why you can’t win a game that’s rigged to keep you doubting your worth. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to stop auditioning for their approval, see their “rejection” for what it really is, and choose yourself instead of waiting to be picked by someone who only values what you do for themBook a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

10 Signs You’re in a Toxic Relationship with a Narcissist

In this video, I break down 10 signs you’re in a toxic relationship with a narcissistic or emotionally abusive partner, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who’s been on both sides of the dynamic. We’ll talk about what it really means to ignore your intuition, why conflicts escalate so fast when you challenge them, how isolation from friends and family makes you easier to control, and why their apologies never lead to actual change. I’ll show you how gaslighting, manipulation, and “I’m sorry for everything” keep you doubting yourself instead of their behavior, and why cutting people off for the chance at one toxic love leaves you more vulnerable than ever. If these signs sound familiar, this video will help you recognize the red flags, validate what you’re feeling, and start planning how to protect your peace and break the cycle. Do Narcissists Regret What They Did to You?

In this video, we dig into one of the hardest questions survivors ask after narcissistic or abusive relationships: do they actually regret what they did, or do they just regret losing you and their supply. As a clinically diagnosed narcissist, I’ll break down how narcissists and other abusive people experience regret, why their “sorry” is usually about consequences and image, not your pain and how their defenses let them see everything as your fault so there’s nothing to feel guilty about. How Narcissistic People Show You They "Love" You?

Why does it feel like a controlling person's version of love leaves you more confused, isolated, and exhausted than before? In this video, Lee Hammock breaks down the profound disconnect between what a toxic individual claims to feel and how they actually treat you. We pull back the curtain on why their words never match their actions, exposing the difference between genuine emotional connection and transactional control. If you have ever felt like something was fundamentally "off" even when they were showering you with affection, this breakdown will give you the psychological clarity you need to make sense of the confusion and protect your sanity. What We Cover In This Video:The Illusion of Love Bombing: How the early stages of overwhelming intensity, future faking, and the artificial "soulmate" narrative are designed to secure your compliance. When the Mask Drops: The predictable shift into devaluation, conditional affection, and extreme emotional coldness once they feel they fully possess you.Possession vs. Connection: Why a highly manipulative partner experiences "love" purely as ownership, emotional supply, and a reflection of their own ego rather than a mutual bond.Chasing the Ghost: Why survivors become deeply attached to the idealized, early version of the relationship and spend years trying to earn that phantom version back.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

Why They Gaslight You (From a Diagnosed Narcissist)

In this video, I break down why narcissists and toxic people gaslight you, from the perspective of a clinically diagnosed narcissist who has used gaslighting in relationships. We’ll talk about how gaslighting lets them control the narrative, avoid accountability, protect their ego, and slowly erode your trust in your own memory, emotions, and reality so you become easier to manipulate. I’ll walk you through common gaslighting phrases, the cycle that keeps you trauma‑bonded and self‑doubting, and the subtle ways they blame‑shift and project their behavior onto you. Why Walking Away Feels Like You're the One Who Did Wrong!

Have you ever walked away from a toxic relationship only to feel an overwhelming sense of guilt, or like leaving a narcissist was a literal crime? In this video, Lee Hammock exposes the deep psychological conditioning and trauma bond that tricks your brain into treating emotional withdrawal exactly like drug withdrawal, making your own self-preservation feel like a malicious betrayal. Unlike healthy attachments where breakups are simply sad, a controlling person grooms you to feel entirely responsible for their emotional state, triggering intense survivor guilt the moment you choose to save yourself. This crushing guilt is not your moral compass telling you that you did wrong—it is simply your brain going through withdrawal, and you do not owe stability to someone who chose to make you unstable.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

From Love-Bombing to Resentment: How Narcissists Bait-and-Switch You

Why do abusers and controlling people suddenly start to despise the exact same things they claimed to love about you at the beginning of the relationship? In this video, Lee Hammock exposes the psychological bait-and-switch behind why a toxic individual turns your greatest strengths into your biggest sins. You’ll learn how traits like your independence, financial success, vibrant social life, or deep empathy are initially treated as a prize to be won during the love-bombing phase, only to be treated as a direct threat during devaluation. We break down the fragile ego structures that cause an abusive person to resent your light, why they try to extinguish the qualities that made you special, and how to spot this systematic erosion before it destroys your self-esteem and mental health.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

    1. Surviving July 4th With a Narcissist: Don’t Let Them Ruin Your Day

July 4th is supposed to be about freedom, but if you’re stuck with a toxic or narcissistic partner, you probably feel more trapped than ever—and that’s exactly what we’re talking about in this video. As a clinically diagnosed narcissist, I break down why narcissistic people ruin holidays like Independence Day, how their mood and energy when they wake up sets the tone, and why you keep getting the silent treatment, bad juju, and “attitude” every time you try to celebrate with family or friends. We’ll talk about why you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, how they use control and attention‑seeking to strip you of your power, and why you don’t have to bring them along just so they can make everyone miserable. I’ll show you how to choose the “damned” you can live with, protect your peace, enjoy your plans and your kids, and stop giving them the narcissistic supply they’re craving. How Violating Your Boundaries Secretly Manifests As Physical Illness

Can suppressing your emotions and constantly pleasing others actually cause your physical body to break down? In this powerful and eye-opening episode, host Lee Hammock sits down with nervous system and trauma specialist Dr. Nima Rahmany to uncover the deep somatic connection between emotional boundary violations and chronic illness. Dr. Nima breaks down the reality of somatic healing, explaining why traditional talk therapies often fail to reach the deep-seated emotional charges trapped inside the physical body. Together, they explore the hidden paradox of self-improvement, revealing how mainstream personal development can frequently stem from a place of self-hate rather than authentic self-acceptance. Dr. Nima maps out how a childhood history of not feeling seen forces individuals into protective habits like extreme codependency or defensive grandiosity. You will learn how swallowing your truth to maintain relationships creates internal inflammation, directly triggering autoimmune issues and physical exhaustion. Dr. Nima shares actionable insights from his Trigger Proof methodology, demonstrating how to transition your relationship with core shame from a state of constant warfare into an elegant dance of self-compassion. Whether you are looking to break free from chronic physical tension, heal attachment wounds, or master the art of relationship repair, this conversation provides a necessary guide to becoming your own medicine. The Most Overlooked Sign Your Abuser Will Escalate to M*rder

Strangulation is the single strongest predictor that domestic violence will escalate to homicide, yet it is still one of the most minimized and misunderstood forms of abuse. In this video, we break down what strangulation actually does to the body and brain, why it can cause serious or even fatal injury hours or days later, and why survivors often walk away with little or no visible marks. From a power‑and‑control perspective, we will talk about how non‑fatal strangulation is almost never “just a moment of anger,” but a deliberate test of power and a major red flag that your abuser is willing to cross into lethal territory. You’ll also learn how the presence of firearms and a history of strangulation together can send your homicide risk through the roof, why so many survivors blame themselves or downplay what happened, and why that self‑blame is part of the danger. We’ll walk through practical safety‑planning steps, hotline options, and resources so you can take this seriously, trust your instincts, and get support even if you’re not sure what to do next. Why Do Narcissists HATE Being Ignored!?

What happens inside the mind of an abuser or a controlling person when you stop responding to them? In this video, Lee Hammock exposes the psychological panic that occurs when you ignore a toxic individual. You’ll learn how silence starves their ego, why a complete lack of reaction strips an abusive person of their perceived power, and why your indifference is treated as an existential threat to their identity. We dive deep into the mechanics of why they would rather have you scream at them than ignore them, how your silence forces them to face their own internal emptiness, and what to expect when they launch a chaotic "extinction burst" to force you back into the ring. What is Cognitive Dissonance and How Does It Work In a Toxic Relationship

Why do you stay with someone who treats you terribly, while simultaneously believing they are your soulmate? In this video, Lee Hammock breaks down the exhausting psychological reality of cognitive dissonance in toxic relationships.Cognitive dissonance occurs when your brain is forced to hold two completely conflicting beliefs at the exact same time: "they love me" versus "they hurt me."We expose how an abuser or controlling person intentionally manufactures this mental fog through a calculated push-pull dynamic of intense love bombing followed by sudden cruelty. This isn't an accident—it's a design. We walk through the mechanics of the intermittent reinforcement cycle, the strongest form of behavioral conditioning known to psychology and explain the neurological basis of why you can't just walk away. Unpredictable dopamine hits from the rare "good moments" keep your brain chemically hooked, forcing you to hold onto a fantasy version of the abuser rather than the reality of who they are.Doubting your own memory and constantly questioning your reality.Justifying their toxic behavior to your friends, family, and yourself.Constant apologizing for things you didn’t even do just to keep the peace.Total paralysis in decision-making because you no longer trust your own judgment. This intense mental friction traps you in a loop that literally makes you feel like you are going crazy. If you are ready to pull back the curtain on this emotional manipulation, stop the self-doubt, and reclaim your mental health, this deep dive is for you. Every narcissist quietly asks themselves one core question before they do anything for you: “How does this benefit me?” In this episode, clinically diagnosed narcissist Lee Hammock breaks down the selfish, calculated mindset behind narcissistic behavior, emotional abuse, hoovering, and why everything seems to come back to supply. You’ll learn how a narcissist’s lack of genuine empathy gets replaced with cold calculation, why both their “kindness” and their cruelty often have hidden motives, and how this shows up in real‑life relationships. Lee also shares practical scripts for communicating with a narcissist, framing requests so they see a benefit, and protecting your energy so you don’t get stuck trying to “understand” them into changing. If you’re dealing with a toxic partner and wondering why they do what they do, this video will help you see the pattern clearly and stop taking their behavior so personallyBook a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

When a Toxic Person Realizes They Can’t Control You Anymore

What actually happens inside a narcissistic or toxic person when they realize they can’t control you anymore? In this video, from the perspective of a diagnosed narcissist, I break down the moment their manipulation and gaslighting stop working, how they react when you stop responding the way you used to, and what that means for you as a survivor or thriver. We’ll talk about the first red flags that their control is slipping, the internal “ego death” and narcissistic injury they experience, why they briefly question themselves and then flip it back on you with blame, accusations, and new tactics, and how you can stay safe and grounded as you stand up for yourself, stop reacting, and break out of the cycle of abuse. If you’re dealing with a narcissistic, toxic, or emotionally abusive partner, this video will help you understand their mindset when they lose control and why your new boundaries matter.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

In this video, we break down what happens inside a narcissistic or toxic person when you stop reacting, stop explaining, and go silent through no contact or low contact. I Was Tired of Being Pissed Off So I Did THIS

Your anger after a toxic relationship, narcissistic abuse, or a devastating divorce isn't a weakness — it can be your biggest catalyst for change. In this full podcast episode, I sit down with Stacie Shifflett — a 68-year-old author, entrepreneur, and founder of Modern Consciousness. After her 28-year marriage imploded, Stacie did everything "right" — new home, new routines, new social life. But inside, nothing felt like her. That's when she walked into a coach's office and said three words that changed everything: "I'm tired of being angry."What followed was one of the most powerful reinvention stories I've ever heard — from working with Les Brown and Tony Robbins, to acquiring a $50M software company with zero upfront capital, to becoming a bestselling author. Why Toxic Exes Pop Back Up When You Finally Heal

Why do toxic exes, narcissists, and high-conflict people always come back right when you're finally healing? In this video, I break down the psychology behind the "hoover" — the manipulation tactic narcissists use to pull you back into the abuse cycle — and explain exactly why your healing process is what triggers them the most. When you start to heal, your energy shifts. You stop reacting the way they expect. You stop feeding them the emotional supply they rely on. You start building boundaries. And that terrifies them. So they come back — not because they love you, but because they've lost control.Connect with Lee:My Courses: https://courses.mentalhealness.net 1-on-1 Coaching Calls: https://link.me/mentalhealnessAll My Link: https://beacons.page/mentalhealness Follow on Instagram/TikTok: @mentalhealnesss

Understanding this behavior is critical for your mental health and physical safety, helping you decide when to fight for your property and when to leave it behind to protect your peace.Connect with Lee:My Courses: https://courses.mentalhealness.net 1-on-1 Coaching Calls: https://link.me/mentalhealnessAll My Link: https://beacons.page/mentalhealness Follow on Instagram/TikTok: @mentalhealnesssIf this episode helped you gain clarity, please leave a 5-star review on Spotify! Five years is a long time to live a lie. But it hurts even deeper when your own friend is the one defending the behavior. In this story time, we look at Rhonda’s experience dating her friend's brother. Why they make it so hard to leave them!

Understanding why you feel paralyzed and unable to leave an abusive person is the first step toward freedom. In this video, Lee Hammock explains the psychological "glue" that keeps people stuck in cycles with controlling people. We dive deep into trauma bonding, intermittent reinforcement, and the fear of the unknown that toxic people weaponize to keep you compliant. If you feel like you’re "waiting for the good version" of your partner to return, you are actually caught in a calculated trap designed by an abuser. Learn how to break the mental chains and realize that the fear you feel is a tool used by abusive people to maintain their power over your life.Connect with Lee:My Courses: https://courses.mentalhealness.net 1-on-1 Coaching Calls: https://link.me/mentalhealnessAll My Link: https://beacons.page/mentalhealness Follow on Instagram/TikTok: @mentalhealnesssIf this episode helped you gain clarity, please leave a 5-star review on Spotify! Why Abusive People Lash Out When You Get Too Close (Puffer-Fishing)

Have you ever head of PUFFER FISHING? In this video, Lee Hammock breaks down the exact mechanics of this toxic behavior and explains why abusers and controlling people suddenly turn freezing cold the exact moment a relationship becomes emotionally real. I take a deep dive into how toxic individuals act deeply affectionate and attentive at first, only to "puff up" their defenses, lash out, or pick fights over trivial matters when true intimacy is required. If you've ever felt completely stranded by a partner who clams up, runs away, or ghosted you just as you were getting close, you are likely dealing with the defensive mechanism of an abusive person trying to regain control. The Real Mindset of an Abuser When They Start to Miss You

When a toxic, abusive, or controlling ex tells you that they "miss" you, it can completely destabilize your healing process. Your brain wants to believe that they have finally realized your worth, but the behavioral reality is much darker. In this video, I break down the exact psychology of what happens when an abuser starts to miss you. We discuss the concept of a validation deficit, why they selectively romanticize the past, and how their sudden urge to reconnect is driven by a desire to regain control rather than genuine love. Why A Controlling Person Fears You Talking to Their Ex

Why does the person you are with desperately try to keep you from ever interacting with or meeting their ex? If they claim the ex is simply "crazy" but go to extreme lengths to make sure your worlds never collide, there is a dark strategic reason behind the secrecy. In this video, I break down the behavioral mechanics of why controlling and abusive people isolate you from their past relationships. We discuss narrative control, the fear of victims comparing notes, and how keeping you separate allows them to continue the cycle without being exposed. The Mindset of an Abuser When You Cut Them Off

What actually happens inside the mind of an abusive or controlling individual when you implement permanent no contact? Many survivors wonder if their absence is felt, or if the toxic person simply moves on without a care.In this video, I break down the cold behavioral mechanics of how an abuser handles absolute silence. ABOUT THIS SHOW
