Orlando's George Cope Shares On His Book, and Bloom Education Founder Jineth Sanchez. (S2E33)
Orlando church and civic leader George Cope has worn many hats in his illustrious career, including being Senior Pastor of numerous churches (including Calvary Assembly Orlando), as the President of Zion Bible College, as the leader of Vision Orlando, and now as a leader in CityServeX. George wrote a book some years back, entitled "God Knows Where You Live." This helpful memoir reminds us all that we are not out of God's sovereign eye - He knows us, and He knows where we live! Also, a delightful chat with Bloom Education founder Jineth Sanchez, a public school teacher with a passion and vision.

Returning as today's guest on "The Mike Gilland Show" - Dave Zanotti, popular host of "The Public Square", heard nationally on radio, including The Shepherd Radio Network. Dave recaps the recent July 4th Celebration for America's 250th, a huge event that was held at The American Mission Center. Dave outlines how their observance for the birthday of America grew beyond just this event - to include a new building set to honor the Declaration of Independence. An amazingly talented group of Nashville players provided the special music for that event, including top session musician Jeff Taylor, The French Family, Dennis Parker, and others. Dennis Parker has traveled the world when he was part of Ricky Skaggs' band, "Kentucky Thunder," and is now working as a solo artist. The host for the conference is the US Christian Chamber, led by Krystal Parker (Krystal hosts "The Shepherd At Work" on the Shepherd). In this episode, Mike interviews conference speakers and participants - Stephen Scoggins, one of the keynote speakers, talks to business leaders from around the world with his "One Part Lion, One Part Lamb" philosophy, believing that as leaders re-align their hearts and minds with God, their businesses will improve. Also, Chris Young and Loree Cameron.
