The Milamex Circle

Today, we introduce you to Regina, a young woman from Germany staying at Warm Heart who tells us about her experience here. We also share Sara Trejo’s story during her 24 years of service with Milamex.

Please keep praying for us! Cynthia shares several prayer requests with us: •⁠  ⁠That God will continue to guide us amid the challenges we’re facing now with fewer staff members, and that He will continue to show us His will and the direction we should take.•⁠  ⁠That the Lord will continue to bring backpackers from all over the world to Warm Heart, and that we’ll continue to have wonderful times of fellowship with them.•⁠  ⁠We will be hosting 4 students from Wheaton this summer for special activities. •⁠  ⁠In May and June, choir concerts at various churches and venues. •⁠  ⁠The 12-hour prayer and worship gathering in July. •⁠  ⁠A 7-session course for couples, from May to July. •⁠  ⁠The family retreat in June, hosted by Intenzion, at the end of June. •⁠  ⁠We will have more and more in-person activities at our physical space in Coyoacán and at retreats and events, rather than the more digital-focused approach we adopted during the pandemic. •⁠  ⁠During the World Cup, for outreach ministries in our country and for the 3 matches we’ll watch in our hall, and for the people we’ll invite.Finally, Cyn shares a lovely story with us during one of the Shabbats.Without your support, none of this would be possible. We are very grateful for two events we had in February at Milamex. First, the presentation of Keila Ochoa's book El aire de Estambul (The Air of Istanbul). Keila brought us closer to the realities of another culture. It was an evening with good food and good company. The second event was the Gala de Belleza, with the theme Empowered in Christ. The participants were filled with this vision and shared their desire to put in practice what they learned that day. Listen to the full story!

We are ending this year with a beautiful season of Asaf's Choir concerts. Andrea tells us about some experiences she lived as a choir member and some testimonies she saw and heard from other people that attended the presentations. 

Carlos tells us about the Men's Retreat, a conference in Puebla, the Leaders' Party, and the latest rehearsals of the Asaf Choir. Henry tells us about his experience as manager of Warm Heart. It has been a month full of activities and, by God's grace, also full of fruit.

This month we share several items of good news with you, We hope it encourages your heart as we look back at what God has done and what He is doing. Thanks for walking alongside us in the ministry the Lord has put into our hands.

This time, we share a little bit about what has been happening in the Intenzion ministry with free classes on Wednesdays and retreats for women (in October) and men (in November). You will also hear from Yoann, a backpacker who has been staying at the guest house.

This time we present the impact that the Asaf Choir has on both the members and the people that go to the concerts. We also share with you what happened in Warm Heart with Jasper's testimony.

On this occasion Cynthia shares a testimony about a backpacker who had a radical change of heart thanks to her time at Warm Heart. Also Diana tells us about an event for Christian women and pastors, where Diana, Naomi and Adai were able to share about Divine Beauty, Resilience and God's Resources for self-care. Many of them were in great need of these topics in their lives and will share them with their families and ministries. Paola shares with us about the pre-launch of the 40 Days to an Embodied Faith devotional and about the Mesa Global international event in Colombia. Thank you for your constant and generous support!

April at Milamex was filled with blessings! We hosted a women’s workshop on health, welcomed Wheaton students, and launched exciting new programs. Visitors like Nick and Katherine uplifted our team, and we’re gearing up for a Latin America conference, summer programs, and inspiring choir concerts. Thank you for your support!

Cynthia and Paola share about the Beauty Gala, an event for women with the theme: Woman, be faithful. God spoke to our participants in this very special day. Also, we share a testimony from one of our backpackers at the guesthouse. Thank you for your prayers and donations.

Diana Gomez and Sally Isáis share about this year's theme verse: Psalm 1:3. They also talk about the impact of our first Intenzion retreat of the year and the decisions the participants made to Be with Jesus, be like Jesus, and do what He did. Thanks to your donations, we were able to give two scholarships.

We have made it to the end of the year and we are deeply grateful for your life, for your continuous support and encouragement.
