    This session follows a similar rhythm to episode 3 - unhurried, gentle, and guided entirely by voice. Just over 37 minutes of putting the to-do list down and letting your hand do the thinking. If you're finding your way into a regular drawing practice, this is a good one to return to. The more you do this, the easier it becomes to drop in. Pen ready? Let's go.

At just over 36 minutes, it's a lovely one to save for when you have a proper pocket of time to yourself - an evening wind-down, a quiet weekend morning, or any moment you want to properly switch off.     In this episode, we draw together for the first time. This is a gentle, guided drawing session using simple, flowing lines - perfect if you're new to this kind of practice, and just as good if you're coming back for a familiar moment of quiet. All you need is your pen, your paper, and around 30 minutes to yourself. I'll guide you through every mark, one line at a time. Your version will look completely different to mine, and that's exactly how it should be. Find a comfortable spot, take a breath, and let's begin.

    Welcome to the very first episode of The Mindful Drawing Podcast. I'm Becky - a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) based in Hertfordshire, UK, and the founder of Ivy's Corner. This podcast is for anyone who wants to slow down, pick up a pen, and find a little calm through drawing. Whether you've never considered yourself creative, you're curious about mindfulness but find traditional meditation tricky, or you're already a Zentangle fan - you're in exactly the right place. In this intro episode, I share a bit about who I am, why I made this podcast, and what makes it a little different. These are audio-only, voice-guided drawing sessions - there's no screen to follow, no copying, and no getting it "right". Just your pen, your paper, and a few quiet minutes for yourself. I also cover what you'll need to get started and how to set up a space that feels good. If you're new here, this is the best place to start - it'll give you a feel for how the sessions work and what to expect from the episodes ahead. All you need is a few minutes and a willingness to begin.
