Welcome back Bar Flies! In this second installment of the Old Montana Prison we are going to finally cover the riot of 1959 that made the Old Montana Prison internationally famous. We will cover the backgrounds of the instigators of the riot and how they were even able to start the riot and take over not just a section of the prison but the whole thing. Buckle up Bar Flies this last part of the old prison is intense so pour yourself a strong drink and pull up a comfortable stool and get ready for Crystal's favorite little bit of Montana history.

It has been a long hiatus for the podcast and unfortunately we lost one of our favorite bartenders on the way but in her memory we will be covering the bloody and corrupt history of the Old Montana State Prison. In the first part we will cover the prison history, what life was like in the prison and how the different warden's throughout the years shaped the prison grounds and the prisoners themselves.  Get yourself a good drink and a comfortable bar stool and settle in for this doozy of a tale!
