A California couple vacationing in Puerto Vallarta leapt into action after hearing a man screaming in the ocean in front of their resort. The tourists jumped into a kayak to try and save the 28-year-old who was being attacked by a crocodile, but the creature eventually pulled him underwater. Prosecutors have charged a Chicago college student with hate crimes, arson, damage to property, disorderly conduct and reckless conduct after Merlin Liu admitted to burning a cross in Grant Park.  Liu uploaded a video and then gave an interview to a local reporter claiming he didn’t realize the historic relevance and severity of a burning cross in this country. After following up on a tip, police have found a body in a wooded area that matches the description of missing 39-year-old Elena Katherine Moore. Moore, a personal trainer,  was last seen leaving the gym and walking into a wooded area. Her husband reported her missing the following day. 18-year-old Romanch Mahajan was celebrating his high school graduation with his parents and younger brother with a once in a lifetime trip to NYC. The family decided to take a relaxing ride through Central Park in one of its iconic horse drawn carriages. A New York judge sentenced 62-year-old serial killer, Rex Heuermann to three consecutive life terms plus 100 years to life for the murders of seven women. A Florida couple has reached a custody agreement with the biological parents of the daughter Tiffany Score gave birth to last December. Score, along with her husband Steven Mills, believed little Shea Score Mills was their biological daughter after they had an Orlando fertility clinic implant one of three embryos they created. It’s a question the Supreme Court may answer at some point today, as Alabama maintains it will move forward with the planned execution of double murderer Jeffrey Lee despite lower court decisions.  Late last night, an appeals court upheld a judge’s ruling this week that Alabama’s nitrogen gas method of execution is unconstitutional because it is cruel and unusual.
