Our recap of Day 2 of Play NYC is here! Giuseppe, Paul, and Scott sat through tons of talks/panels and learned a whole lot from people within the industry. We talk in-depth about our main takeaways from the event as a whole, how it affected us personally, and -- of course -- the games we're really excited about. It was definitely a long journey, a lot of HP was spent (and eventually gained back) but the crew is feeling refreshed and alive! See you next year, Play NYC!

Giuseppe, Scott, and Paul venture out into the world for New York City's very first video game convention. During this episode they summarize a panel they attended, talk about all the games they saw during this first day, and what they're excited for tomorrow. It was a long and arduous journey but in the end, it was worth it and the boys can't wait to get back at it again tomorrow.

The Nightly Sessions finally turned 21! Isn't that great? This week, the boys come in full force and share their "first-time drunk" stories. We talk a bit about Donkey Kong and what we've been playing lately. So sit down, crack open a beer of your choice, and enjoy!

We missed last week. So think about this episode as last week's episode plus some premium DLC content. The boys talk which Pokemon starter they liked the best, the minigames in Pokemon Stadium, old RTS and FPS games, and a little bit about movies and Red Bull energy drinks. Because energy, as we all know, is the most important -gy of them all (right next to biology).

This week, the boys talk about peripheral vision, regular vision, going fishing, and maybe a touch here and there about video games. Paul and Lawrence seem to be getting over sicknesses, Scott is celebrates the summer before the summer with a tasty brew, and Josh is still in California; living it up like a superstar.

This week, the boys talk a lot about video games. And a lot about things that aren't related to video games. But also, they're still trying to figure out what kind of podcast this is. You might think they would've have done that by now, since it's been -- you know -- 17 weeks. But whatever, right? Also, they learn how to summon Giuseppe with one word.

This week, the gang tries something new and definitely (totally) recorded this live. What? What do you mean it was two days after the late version? That was a joke! It was in the script! Come on, we're trying our best here, we don't have those great Hollywood writers like other podcasts.

This week, the gang is late. They're extremely sorry. The past couple weeks in video game releases has been a huge one and everyone's got their hands (or minds) on one of the new releases. We talk a bit about Mass Effect, Nier, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Also, somehow, Paul reveals a deep dark secret about himself and he probably is regretting it right now.

This week's Nightly Session covers a large range of topics. But the most important topic of conversation is Wyatt and Josh's move to the West Coast! Nightly is becoming bi-coastal, baby! What a fun time! We also talk a lot about cartoons, a bit about GDC, and for old times sake, Paul and Wyatt yell at each other making everyone around the microphone feel a little bit uncomfortable.

On this week's Nightly Session, it's a very laid back, chill conversation about video games. Scott finally beat FFXV (Paul hasn't), Paul is playing through the Uncharted series again, Josh and Lawrence are still going strong in For Honor, and there might be a Counter Strike match within the company in the near future? We know it's not nearly close enough to Halloween to start talking about spooky video games and getting scared but with the release of Resident Evil 7 on our minds, it was hard not to share some of our horror game experiences. We also talk a bit about the For Honor beta, how Paul still can't find the time to play FFXV, and Giuseppe hits us with another Super Mario fact (even though Paul tried to catch him off guard).

Turns out Scott isn't fired, he's just trapped in the database! Isn't that something. This week, the guys meet through the Internet to spend a long time talking about the recent Nintendo Switch announcement, there's another Super Mario fact coming from Giuseppe, and everyone realizes that Paul is obsessed with Fallout: New Vegas. Maybe next week, he'll talk about a different game for once.

Hey everyone! It's still January and it's still 2017, so you should probably spend your time listening to Nightly Studios talk about what this year might bring in gaming.
