    S.P.H.E.R.E.S.

In our return and first episode of 2025, We proudly present S.P.H.E.R.E.S. In this episode Eric talks to SPHERES about his deep history in the NYC and Toronto electronic music scenes. His background and influences. His progression into the synthwave scene. Where his Name comes from and his debut album coming out on Stratford Ct. Additional thoughts from SPHERES post interview "Thinking more about our conversation in regards to how people come up with ideas, how some wait for inspiration to hit them. I kinda get that, but to me that's an avoidant method to come up with inspiration. I think the best way to get inspired is to be working on music often until something clicks that inspires you (while also searching for inspiration - it's everywhere). I've been trying to motivate some of my friends who say they are having trouble, and even told them that not everything they make is going to be a keeper - I throw away a ton of demos, but it's part of the process - noodling around until something sparks. But if you're not actively in your DAW or working on music, then people can't be making those sparks happen in my Opinion, and their output becomes way more random." "I think a big part of it has to do with neuro-divergence in artists, a lot of us are neuro-divergent. A ton of us suffer from A.D.H.D., and a big part of having that comes with task initiation issues and avoidance. I used to have that problem but then realized it goes away when you just start doing the thing, creating momentum/inertia, then the ideas start flowing."
