Grant Vandever sits down and visits with Caroline about helping others, building an online community, and living her dream from her hometown.

    Ep. 14 - Howdy Wayne Lisenbee (City of Abilene)

    Howdy Wayne Lisenbee first came to Abilene to attend Hardin-Simmons University. He planned on being a bank president. However, he found a true passion for civil service and has worked for both the Anson and Abilene. He currently oversees the capital projects for the City of Abilene. Grant Vandever and Wayne sat down to talk about Adventure Cove the new community pool and attraction that recently had its' grand opening.

    Samuel Garcia is a local Abilene State Farm Agent and also is currently serving as the President of the Hispanic Leadership Council. Grant Vandever sits down with Samuel at his office and visits about his journy to Abilene, working for State Farm, and the work the Hispanic Leadership Council is doing in the community.

    Debbie Lillick is the Executive Director of the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature, better known around town as the NCCIL. As you will hear in our conversation the NCCIL is not a children's museum but a museum that is kid friendly. Grant Vandever and Debbie visited about the history of the NCCIL and the Children Arts & Literacy Festival it is a huge part of every summer.

    Ginger Vinson is the President of Abilene Community Theatre and teaches theatre to students as a day job. Grant Vandever and Ginger sat down to talk about ACT and all the things happening in the organisation. Ginger helps Grant understand the role of a director, they visit about volunteer opportunities, and Ginger tells Grant about some of the dreams ACT has for their campus.
