This week we took a break from the studio. Wess, George and Tyler took a drive around the neighborhood to look for broods of young birds, chat with landowners, and check out the local wildlife. 

George and Tyler went to do help with a calf branding last week, and lived to tell the tale! No blood was shed but many stories were created. We share a bunch of laughs and tell stories about how we can now offically call ourselves cowboys!

George, Wess and Tyler driving around the Badlands of SW North Dakota scouting for turkeys. With turkey season just around the corner we loaded up the podcast gear in the truck and headed out for a good old fashioned country cruise. Pardon the back ground noise but the roads were a bit bumpy in spots. 

On todays episode we are joined by Michael McNeal to talk about following the migration of waterfowl.  Michael starts his season way up in Canada and follows it all the way down Oklahoma. Right now he is following the spring migration of snow geese back north.

Wess and I along with David Miller and some other friends seen literally thousands of pheasants over the last 3 days of hunting. Then we talk about packing for a long trip.
