    Love Tells The Truth

In this episode, we explore Paul’s powerful prayer in Philippians 1—a prayer that goes deeper than surface-level faith. Paul doesn’t just pray for love. He prays that love would abound with knowledge and judgment. Why? Because love alone, without truth and discernment, can lead us in the wrong direction.True, biblical love is not passive—it is intentional, informed, and aligned with God’s will. It requires understanding who God is and the ability to discern what pleases Him. This kind of love challenges us to grow, to correct, and sometimes to confront—not out of emotion, but out of truth.Even more powerful is the context: Paul writes this while in chains. Bound physically, yet still praying for others to grow spiritually. That’s real love. This episode also highlights what it means to live countercultural—especially in environments that don’t reflect God. Real love doesn’t stay silent. It speaks truth. It stands firm. It reflects Christ.🔥 Love is more than a feeling 🔥 Love requires truth and discernment 🔥 Love pushes you to speak, not stay silent #PressToPray #Philippians1 #BiblicalLove #FaithInAction #ChristianGrowth #Discernment #SpiritualMaturity #TruthInLove #KingdomLiving #PrayerWorksFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Ask Bigger

In this episode, we dive into the powerful prayer of Ephesians 3—a prayer focused not on circumstances, but on strength, faith, and understanding who God truly is.Paul prays that believers would be strengthened in their inner man, rooted and grounded in love, and filled with the fullness of God. This isn’t surface-level faith—this is deep, unshakable connection. The episode highlights a key truth: God doesn’t just meet needs—He exceeds expectations.“Exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think” isn’t just a phrase—it’s a reality when we understand that God already dwells within us. The power we’re asking for is already working in us.But the challenge is faith.Too often, we limit God by what we see, feel, or understand. We forget who He is. We forget what He’s done. And we shrink our prayers accordingly. This episode calls you higher:👉 Strengthen your inner man 👉 Let God dwell fully in your heart 👉 Stop limiting what God can doBecause when you truly believe…You stop asking small. #PressToPray #Ephesians3 #FaithOverFear #GodCanDoAnything #PrayerWorks #ChristianGrowth #InnerStrength #HolyGhostPower #KingdomMindset #TrustGodFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Do you know the power you have?

This episode explores the powerful prayer found in Ephesians 1—a prayer not for more, but for revelation.Paul writes to the church at Ephesus, a city filled with spiritual resistance, false gods, and cultural opposition. Yet instead of praying for their circumstances to change, he prays that their understanding would change. He prays for wisdom. He prays for revelation. He prays that their eyes would be opened. Why? Because they already had what they needed—they just didn’t fully see it yet.Paul reminds them that they were chosen before the foundation of the world, filled with the Holy Ghost as a promise, and empowered by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. The issue wasn’t access. The issue was awareness. This episode challenges believers to stop asking God for more power and start asking Him to reveal the power already within them.🔥 You are chosen. 🔥 You are sealed. 🔥 You are empowered. Now it’s time to see it. #PRESSMovement #Ephesians1 #SpiritualRevelation #ChristianGrowth #FaithOverFear #KnowYourAuthority #PrayerLife #HolyGhostPower #BiblicalTruth #KingdomLivingFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

A Prayer for People Like You

This episode dives into the depth and purpose of the Book of Romans—a powerful, systematic revelation of the gospel. Paul shifts from preaching to teaching, unpacking sin, grace, salvation, and what it truly means to live transformed. At the center of this episode is a simple but weighty prayer: “My heart’s desire and prayer to God… is that they might be saved.”Paul’s burden wasn’t theoretical—it was personal. He prayed for people just like him. People who had zeal, but lacked truth. People who were close… but not surrendered. This episode challenges us to rethink prayer—not as routine, but as responsibility. What if your past wasn’t random? What if everything you’ve been through positioned you to intercede for someone else?Instead of judging people stuck where you used to be, this episode calls you to pray for them.Because someone prayed for you. And now… it’s your turn.🔥 Prayer isn’t just personal—it’s generational. 🔥 Your testimony is someone else’s breakthrough. 🔥 God saves through people who care enough to pray. #PRESSMovement #PrayerChangesThings #PrayForTheLost #FaithInAction #KingdomMindset #Romans1 #SpiritualGrowth #Intercession #ChristianPodcast #PrayerLifeFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Power to Stay!

In Acts 16, we see what real faith looks like under pressure. Paul and Silas are doing exactly what God called them to do—preaching, delivering, and advancing the gospel. But obedience doesn’t lead them to comfort… it leads them to conflict. After casting a spirit out of a young woman, they are beaten, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. Bound. Broken. Publicly humiliated.Yet at midnight… they pray. And they don’t stop there—they praise. Not in freedom. Not after the breakthrough. But in the middle of the pain. And heaven responds. An earthquake shakes the prison. Doors open. Chains fall. But what makes this moment truly powerful isn’t the miracle—it’s the decision that follows. They don’t leave. In a moment where escape was possible, they stayed. And because they stayed, a jailer and his entire household were saved. This episode reveals a deeper level of obedience—the kind that doesn’t just praise in pressure, but stays when it could leave.Your obedience isn’t just about you. It’s about who God wants to reach through you.👉 Sometimes the real miracle isn’t getting out… …it’s staying.#PressToPray #FaithUnderPressure #MidnightPraise #ObedienceToGod #Acts16 #StayInTheFight #ChristianPodcast #PrayerWorksFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

The Answer Is Here- Open the Door

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we explore  the powerful events of Acts chapter 12 and what they reveal about prayer, pressure, and God’s response. The early church is expanding rapidly—even through persecution. What began as chaos through the scattering of believers becomes a catalyst for growth, as the gospel reaches beyond the Jews to the Gentiles. God is proving that His power has no boundaries and that salvation is not limited by culture, background, or expectation. But with growth comes opposition. King Herod rises against the church, killing James and imprisoning Peter with the intention of executing him next. From a natural standpoint, the situation looks final. Peter is heavily guarded, chained, and awaiting death.Yet the church responds with relentless prayer. While Peter sleeps in prison, God moves. An angel appears, chains fall off, and Peter is miraculously led out—past guards and locked doors. The impossible becomes reality because of prayer.Ironically, when Peter arrives at the house where believers are praying, they struggle to believe their own prayer has been answered. It takes opening the door for them to fully see what God has done. This episode challenges us to not only pray—but to recognize, receive, and boldly share the answers when God moves.#PressToPray #PrayerChangesThings #FaithInAction #SurrenderToGod #BibleStudyDailyFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Dangerous Obedience

In Acts 9, we encounter one of the most powerful moments in Scripture—the transformation of Saul. A man who once hunted the church, approved of murder, and operated with authority to destroy believers suddenly comes face-to-face with Jesus. What makes this moment so powerful isn’t just the encounter—it’s the response.Saul doesn’t argue. He doesn’t defend himself. He asks one question: “Lord, what would You have me to do?” That single prayer of surrender changes everything. At the same time, God calls Ananias—a believer who knows Saul’s reputation. Saul is dangerous. Saul is feared. Saul is the enemy. Yet God tells Ananias to go anyway. And he does. Not only does he go, but he calls him brother. This episode reveals two sides of powerful prayer: surrender and obedience. Saul surrenders his will. Ananias obeys despite fear. And between those two acts, God launches a transformation that would impact the entire world. What started as persecution became purpose. What looked like destruction became destiny. One prayer. One yes. One act of obedience. That’s all God needs to change everything.#PressToPray #PrayerChangesThings #FaithInAction #SurrenderToGod #BibleStudyDailyFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

How to Pray When Truth Makes You a Target

In this episode, we walk through the powerful and sobering story of Stephen in Acts 6–7—the first martyr of the New Testament. Full of faith, wisdom, and the Holy Ghost, Stephen boldly stood on truth even when it cost him everything.Instead of defending himself before the Sanhedrin, he delivered one of the longest speeches in Scripture, exposing a pattern: God sends truth, and people reject it. His message didn’t just confront their actions—it challenged their beliefs. And they couldn’t handle it.As they dragged him out and stoned him, Stephen responded in a way that defines true Christianity: he prayed.“Lord Jesus, receive my spirit… Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.”Even in death, he reflected Jesus—speaking truth in love and extending forgiveness to those killing him. This episode reminds us that following Christ isn’t about comfort—it’s about conviction. In a world that resists truth, believers must stand firm, speak boldly, and still love deeply.Because real faith doesn’t just declare truth…It demonstrates it.Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Threatened into Silence?

What do you do when obedience gets you in trouble? In Acts 4, Peter and John are arrested, threatened, and commanded to stop speaking in the name of Jesus—all because of a miracle. But instead of backing down, they respond with one of the boldest prayers in Scripture. They don’t ask for safety. They don’t ask for protection. They don’t ask God to remove the pressure. They ask for MORE.More boldness. More miracles. More power in the name of Jesus. This episode breaks down a powerful truth: when your life is fully committed to God’s purpose, fear loses its grip. The early church understood something many of us forget—God’s glory is always greater than our comfort. And when they prayed? God answered immediately. The place shook, they were filled again, and they spoke with even greater boldness. If you’ve been facing pressure, opposition, or resistance, this episode will challenge you to shift your prayers—and your perspective. What if the answer isn’t less pressure… but more power?#ChristianContent #KingdomMindset #FaithInAction #Acts4 #JesusName #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianLeadership #TrustGod #WalkByFaith #ChurchLife #GodsPower #PrayerLife #ChristianEncouragement #PRESSMovementFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

In Acts chapter 3, Peter and John encounter a man who had been lame from birth, sitting daily at the temple gate begging for help. Like many people in need, he expected money. But God had something greater in store. The power was not in Peter or John—it was in the name of Jesus. In a world full of imitation power, the authority of Jesus’ name still brings healing, restoration, and transformation.#PressMovement #PrayerMovement #PressToPray #PrayerReaches #PrayerChangesThings#FaithOverFear #TrustGod #KingdomLiving #SpiritLed #ChristianEncouragementFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Prayer: When the Church Lets God Choose

In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we step into the opening chapter of Acts of the Apostles—the birth of the New Testament church.About 120 believers gather in an upper room waiting for the promise Jesus gave them: the Holy Ghost. But while they wait in prayer, they also face an important decision. Judas has fallen, leaving a place empty among the twelve apostles. The church must now decide who will fill that role.Instead of campaigning, debating, or fighting for position, the disciples do something powerful. They pray.“Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of these two thou hast chosen.”This moment reveals something critical about the church: position in God's kingdom is not political—it is spiritual. The early believers understood that leadership belongs to the Lord. Their job was not to manufacture authority but to seek God until He revealed it.In a world where titles are chased and positions are fought over, Acts chapter one reminds us that God's house belongs to Him. When we let Him set the order, the church becomes exactly what it was meant to be.Prayer still reaches every single situation—even the decisions that shape the church.Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Praying: Faith Over Feelings

In this powerful episode, we stand at the cross during the darkest hour in history. From Gospel of Luke 23 to Gospel of Matthew 27, we witness Jesus in His final moments—feeling forsaken, crying out in agony, yet refusing to abandon His assignment.“My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?”These are not the words of unbelief. They are the honest cry of humanity in pain. Jesus shows us that faith does not cancel emotion—but emotion does not get to cancel faith.Darkness covered the earth. The veil was torn. Mockers laughed. It looked like wickedness was winning. Yet in the middle of abandonment, Jesus resolved:“Father, into Thy hands I commend my spirit.”And finally…“It is finished.”This episode teaches us how to live when feelings scream one thing but faith declares another. You can ask questions. You can feel the weight. But you do not move off the cross God placed you on.Faith outlives the feeling. If you’re fighting emotional battles, questioning God’s timing, or wrestling with surrender—this episode is for you#Prayer #TrustGod #WalkByFaith #ChristianLiving #ChristianPodcast #SermonClip #FaithOverFear #FaithOverFeelings #SpiritualGrowth #Encouragement #PurposeDriven #DailyDevotion #KingdomMindset #VictoryInChrist #ItIsFinished #PressMovement #ChristianContent #HopeInChrist #CrossOfChrist #GodIsFaithfulFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Father, Forgive Them!

At Calvary, Jesus offers one of the most powerful prayers ever recorded: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Beaten beyond recognition, publicly humiliated, abandoned by His closest followers, and nailed to a cross, Jesus does not pray for rescue or revenge. He prays for forgiveness — in the middle of His suffering. This episode explores the depth of that moment. Forgiveness here is not passive or sentimental. It is deliberate. It is costly. It is humility in action. Jesus abandons the right to charge them for what they have done. He releases the debt while it is still being incurred. We also examine a profound truth: sometimes the people who hurt us are unknowingly participating in God’s larger purpose. Their actions cannot cancel God’s assignment. In some cases, they are fulfilling it.Forgiveness is not weakness. It is trust. It is confidence that God sees, God knows, and God will handle what we release. If you’ve wrestled with resentment, justice, or moving forward after betrayal, this episode invites you to consider a higher way — the way of the cross.#FatherForgiveThem #Calvary #Luke23 #Forgiveness #TheCross #ChristianPodcast#PressMovement #PressToPray #PrayerReaches #ApplyPressure#LetItGo #TrustGodsPlan #PurposeInPain #FaithOverFeelings #ChristianEncouragement #SpiritualGrowthFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Nevertheless…

In the Garden of Gethsemane, we witness one of the most vulnerable moments in scripture. Jesus, fully aware of the cross before Him, falls on His face and prays, “Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me.” He prays it once. Then again. And again. This episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast explores the power of repeated prayer and the strength found in surrender. Gethsemane shows us that asking God more than once is not a lack of faith. Even Jesus returned to the Father in His distress. The disciples, overwhelmed with sorrow, fell asleep. But Jesus let His sorrow drive Him to prayer. And in that place of surrender, something shifted. Heaven did not remove the cup — but an angel came and strengthened Him.“Nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt” becomes the turning point. Prayer did not change the assignment, but it prepared Him to walk through it.If you’ve ever struggled to submit, questioned God’s way, or felt the weight of obedience, this episode will remind you: strength is found in prayer, and God’s will is always worth yielding to.Because prayer still reaches every single situation.#PressMovement #PressToPray #PrayerReaches #ChristianPodcast #BibleStudyPodcast #NewTestamentStudy #PrayersOfTheBible#StrengthInPrayer #GodsWayIsBetter #FaithOverFeelings #PrayThroughIt #KeepPrayingFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

It's Not Over, BUT It's Done

There are moments when everything you’ve prayed for feels like it’s hanging in the balance — not finished yet, but somehow already decided. That’s exactly where Jesus prays in John 17.In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we step into one of the most powerful prayers ever recorded — the prayer Jesus prayed right before everything changed. He declares, “Father, the hour is come,” and begins speaking as though the work is already finished… even though the cross is still ahead. This prayer reveals something crucial about faith: what God has purposed can be done before it’s over.Jesus doesn’t just pray for Himself — He prays for His disciples, and then He prays for you. He prays that you would be kept, sanctified, unified, and sustained while living in a broken world. He prays with confidence, alignment, and authority — not uncertainty. This episode will help you understand:How to pray when the pressure is highWhy faith can speak in past tense before the outcome appearsWhat it means to walk in prayers that were already prayed for youIf you’ve ever wondered how to keep going when the moment feels heavy, this prayer will show you how to stand, believe, and PRESS — because prayer reaches every single situation.#PressMovement #PrayerLife #ItsNotOverItsDone #John17 #FaithUnderPressure #PrayWithConfidence #JesusPrayedForYou #ChristianPodcast #PrayerStrategy #FaithInThisHourFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    It Was All For This

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we dive into a prayer that reveals what to do when purpose feels heavy and pressure feels unavoidable. From John 12, Jesus prays a simple but powerful prayer: “Father, glorify thy name.”Surrounded by growing attention, rising opposition, and the weight of His calling, Jesus doesn’t ask to escape the moment — He embraces it. His soul is troubled. The hour is intense. The cost is real. Yet instead of backing away, He leans into purpose. This episode explores what it means to realize you were born for this- it was all for this. Not born for comfort. Not born for ease. But born for assignment. When seasons feel public… When pressure feels personal… When purpose feels costly…That may be the very evidence that God is positioning you for something greater than you can see. This is an episode for anyone who has ever asked, “Why is this happening to me?”The answer might be: Because this moment was made for you — and you were made for it.#BornForThis #WhatCanISay #PRESSMovement #PurposeSeason #FaithUnderFire #GodsTiming #ChristianPodcast #PrayerChangesThings #CalledForThis #PressToPray #SpiritualGrowth #TrustTheProcess #FaithJourney #KingdomPurpose #PurposePressureFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    ...It's so you can believe

What do you do when God hears your prayer—but doesn’t move on your timeline? In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast with De'Shaun Harewood, we step into John chapter 11, where Jesus stands at a tomb, grief is heavy, faith is strained, and hope feels late. Lazarus is dead. Mary and Martha are mourning. The crowd is watching. And Jesus does something unexpected—He prays with confidence before the miracle happens. This prayer isn’t about asking. It’s about assurance. Jesus thanks the Father, not because the situation looks good, but because He knows God has already heard Him. What unfolds reveals a powerful truth: sometimes God allows delay, discomfort, and even loss—not because He is absent, but because belief is being built. This episode challenges us to examine where our faith rests. Do we trust God only when He moves quickly? Or can we believe Him when the stone is still in place? If you’ve ever wondered why God didn’t step in sooner… If you’ve ever questioned His timing… If you’ve ever needed faith before the breakthrough…This episode is for you.Because prayer doesn’t just change situations—it builds belief. The Prayer That Missed the Miracle

As we step into 2026, the PRESS Movement Podcast turns our focus to a prayer that reveals how easy it is to miss God—even when He is standing right in front of us.In John chapter 6, the people prayed, “Lord, evermore give us this bread.” What they didn’t realize was that the Bread of Life was already there. They chased miracles, signs, and provision, yet failed to recognize Jesus as the answer to their prayer. In this episode, we unpack the danger of pursuing what is temporary while overlooking what is eternal. Jesus confronts a crowd more interested in full bellies than transformed hearts and challenges them—and us—to labor for what truly lasts. This teaching invites us to examine our priorities, our prayers, and our expectations of God.As a new year begins, this episode calls us to refocus our faith, sharpen our spiritual vision, and commit to not missing what God is already doing. It’s a prayer for discernment, alignment, and belief beyond what we can see.If you’ve ever asked God for more while overlooking His presence, this episode is for you.Because prayer reaches every single situation.#PressMovementPodcast #BreadOfLife #John6 #NewYearWithGod #SpiritualDiscernment #ChristianPodcast #BibleTeaching #FaithOverSigns #EternalOverTemporary #PrayerLife #Don’tMissTheObvious #PressToPrayFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Walk It Out: God's Answers, God's Way

In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we explore one of the most powerful faith moments in the New Testament—the healing of the nobleman’s son in John 4. When desperation meets faith, this father travels miles to reach Jesus, begging Him to come and heal his dying child. But Jesus responds in an unexpected way.Instead of going with him, Jesus speaks a word: “Go thy way; thy son liveth.”This episode challenges us to examine how much of our faith depends on what we see. What happens when God answers—but not the way we imagined? What if the miracle doesn’t look dramatic, public, or immediate? Through this encounter, we learn that faith often requires movement before manifestation.Jesus refuses to be reduced to signs and wonders, teaching us that belief must rest on His word alone. The nobleman had to walk back home carrying nothing but a promise—and along the way, he discovered that obedience unlocked the miracle. If you’ve been praying and all you’ve received is a word to “go,” this episode will encourage you to trust that walking by faith will lead you straight into God’s will, because prayer reaches every single situation.Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

A Prayer of Strength for the Shaking

In this powerful episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we step into one of the most intimate and revealing moments in the New Testament—Jesus praying for Peter in Luke 22. Before Peter ever denied Christ… before the rooster crowed… before his greatest failure… Jesus looked at him and said, “I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.”Joined by special guest Lauren Shepherd, we explore what it means to be “sifted as wheat,” why the enemy targeted Peter, and how Jesus’ prayer didn’t stop the attack—but ensured Peter’s faith would survive it. This episode uncovers the mystery of spiritual battles, the purpose behind shaking, and why some fights aren’t removed—because God plans to reveal something through them.We also examine how Peter later writes about being “sober and vigilant,” proving that Jesus’ prayer produced long-term transformation. Prayer: God Sees Your Heart

Prayer: God Sees Your Heart takes us into Luke 18, where Jesus shares a powerful parable of two men who came to pray — and walked away with two very different outcomes. In this episode, we explore how prayer is not measured by volume, language, or length, but by honesty, humility, and the posture of the heart. One man prayed with pride, performance, and comparison. The other prayed with surrender, repentance, and truth. Jesus makes it clear: God answers the prayer that comes from a yielded heart, not a polished one.As we continue our journey through the New Testament, we learn that Jesus is not simply teaching us how to pray — He’s teaching us how to approach Him. Like a child, like a seeker, like someone who knows they need God more than anything else.In this episode, you’ll discover: ✨ Why some prayers move heaven and others don’t ✨ How humility opens doors pride will always close ✨ Why God values authenticity over appearance ✨ What it truly means to come before God as a “babe” ✨ How to let God shape, teach, and reveal Himself to youWhether you’re beginning, returning, or rebuilding your prayer life — this is your invitation to start again, with a heart God can see and use.Prayer reaches every single situation. When It’s Too Late to Pray: A Prayer from Hell

In this gripping episode of the Press Movement Podcast, Taquoya Porter walks us through one of the most sobering passages in all of Scripture — Luke 16, the account of the rich man and Lazarus. Unlike the parables surrounding it, this narrative is intentionally left vague, leaving listeners to wrestle with whether Jesus is telling a story… or exposing a true glimpse into eternity.Paula explores the rich man’s haunting reality: in hell, his memory is intact, his desires still burn, and his regret becomes part of his torment. He prays — not for forgiveness, not for salvation — but for relief and for his family. And yet Scripture makes it clear: prayer from hell is too late. Eternity is sealed on this side of life. This episode confronts us with an urgent truth: heaven or hell is determined now, not later. Earthly comfort does not equal spiritual safety, and earthly suffering does not equal spiritual loss. God honors the choices we make in the temporary, but those choices echo forever.Be encouraged to choose surrender today. I Can See What He Said: A Prayer of Praise!

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we travel to Luke chapter 2 and meet Simeon—a man who waited faithfully for God’s promise to be fulfilled. After 400 silent years between the Old and New Testaments, Simeon stood as a beacon of hope, led by the Spirit and holding fast to his faith. When he finally saw the child Jesus in the temple, he lifted Him up and prayed, “Lord, now let your servant depart in peace.” Simeon didn’t wait for the promise to be completed—he blessed God for what had begun. This episode reminds us that God is always working, even in the waiting. How Jesus Answered the Devil’s Prayer

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we uncover one of the most surprising “prayers” in the Bible—spoken not by a prophet or a disciple, but by the devils themselves. In this week’s episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, Taquoya Porter dives into Matthew 11—a short but powerful prayer where Jesus thanks the Father for revealing truth not to the proud, but to the humble.Jesus says, “I thank thee, O Father… because thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them unto babes.” What does that mean for us today? Paula walks through the contrast between those who think they already know God and those who approach Him as teachable, moldable children. In this reflection, you’ll discover how revelation comes not through intellect but through innocence—through hearts willing to be shaped by God. The deeper you want to go in faith, the lower you must bow in humility.Be encouraged to come before God as a clean slate, ready for Him to write His story on your life. Welcome to the final Old Testament episode of the Press Movement Podcast! In this special conversation, we close out with the prayer of Habakkuk and discover what it means to trust God when life feels unstable.Habakkuk’s journey mirrors our own: he begins overwhelmed and questioning God’s plan, but ends by remembering God’s power and declaring, “The Lord is my strength… He makes my feet like hinds’ feet.” Together with recurring guest Sister Alysha Owens, we walk through how this prayer encourages us to remain steady, even when life throws us into rocky terrain. In this episode, we wrestle with real questions:What do we do when God’s plan isn’t what we expected? How do we trust Him in chaos? How can we be stabilized when everything around us is shaking?Habakkuk’s prayer reminds us that God builds us to withstand what we’re walking through. 🙏 PRESS with us — prayer reaches every single situation.#PressMovement #PrayerPodcast #Habakkuk #FaithJourney #TrustGod #BibleStudyPodcast #PrayerWorksFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Questions, Chaos, and Confidence: Praying Like Habakkuk

Have you ever prayed, “God, tell me what You’re thinking” when life feels unfair and overwhelming? That’s exactly where we find the prophet Habakkuk. He looked around and saw violence, corruption, and injustice. It seemed like God was silent. But instead of walking away, Habakkuk pressed into God with honest questions. In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we explore Habakkuk’s powerful dialogue with God. Habakkuk wrestles with the reality of judgment, the problem of evil, and God’s surprising answer—He would use the Chaldeans, a violent nation, as an instrument of judgment. Not the response Habakkuk expected. Yet through his questions, Habakkuk learned a vital truth: “The just shall live by faith.”We’ll uncover how God isn’t intimidated by our doubts, frustrations, or questions. He invites us to bring them into prayer, not to weaken our faith but to strengthen it. Habakkuk models what it means to remain faithful when we don’t understand God’s plan, to stand watch even when the vision seems delayed, and to live by faith no matter what.Join us as we discover that prayer really does reach every single situation—even the ones that make no sense at all.Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Praying: God, I Disagree With Your Decision

Jonah is one of the most fascinating characters in Scripture—not because of his obedience, but because of his resistance. In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we step into Jonah chapter 4 and unpack his raw, emotional prayer after Nineveh repents. Instead of rejoicing, Jonah is angry. He knew God would be merciful, gracious, and slow to anger—and that’s exactly what frustrated him.Together with guest Ethan, we dive into the cliffhanger ending of Jonah’s story: a conversation with God that challenges not only Jonah’s motives but also ours. What does it mean to obey God with the wrong heart? Why does God care about why we act, not just what we do? And what happens when our prayers are fueled more by frustration than by faith?Jonah’s prayer reminds us that God doesn’t just want robotic obedience—He desires transformed hearts that align with His will. Even when our emotions clash with His mercy, God engages us, corrects us, and calls us higher. When Rock Bottom Becomes the Altar: Jonah’s Prayer

In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we continue our journey through Jonah — this time inside the belly of the fish. Jonah 2 captures one of the most unique prayers in Scripture: a cry of thanksgiving and deliverance from the depths of despair. Jonah had the opportunity to repent on the ship but chose not to. Only when he found himself swallowed by the fish did he finally cry out to God.Lauren Shepherd joins us to break down this prayer verse by verse, showing how affliction often becomes the turning point that leads us back to God. We discuss how Jonah’s cry wasn’t born out of instant repentance but from affliction, and yet God heard him. This episode explores the importance of crying out to God from wherever you are — even when your “belly of the fish” looks like pain, trauma, or consequences of your own choices.Discover how gratitude, honesty, and repentance can shift your situation, and why God uses even affliction with purpose — to bring us back into alignment with Him.#Jonah2 #PressToPray #PrayerPodcast #ThanksgivingPrayer #DeliverancePrayer #FaithPodcast #PressMovementPodcastFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

Their Wrong, My Problem: Praying Through Other People's Chaos

Their Wrong, My Chaos: Praying Through Other People's Chaos takes us deep into Jonah 1, where one man’s disobedience creates a storm that threatens everyone around him. Jonah ran from God, but the sailors—innocent men caught in his rebellion—found themselves in the middle of his chaos. Life often works the same way: other people’s wrong choices can bring storms into our own lives, leaving us to wrestle with fear, confusion, and loss. But there’s a truth tucked into Jonah’s story—storms reveal the power of intercession. While Jonah ran, the sailors cried out to God, and their prayers did not go unheard. This episode explores how to recognize when you’re in someone else’s storm, how to respond without being pulled under, and how prayer becomes the anchor in chaos that isn’t your fault. If you’ve ever faced fallout from another person’s mistakes—family struggles, workplace drama, broken trust—this episode reminds you that God still hears, still moves, and still answers. Standing in the Gap: A Prayer for the Intercessors & Prophets

In The Prayer That Stopped God’s Judgment – Amos 7, we dive into one of the most powerful yet overlooked prayers in Scripture. Amos, a humble shepherd turned prophet, was chosen by God to deliver a heavy message of judgment against nations, including Israel itself. In the midst of God’s fierce declarations, Amos dared to pray a simple yet bold plea: “O Lord God, forgive… by whom shall Jacob arise? For he is small.” (Amos 7:2, 5).In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we explore how one intercessor’s prayer moved God to set boundaries on His own judgment. Amos shows us that even when God is angry, He listens to the cries of His people. This prayer reminds us of the power of intercession and the heart of a God who would rather heal than destroy. Hosea’s story, marked by a heartbreaking marriage to an unfaithful wife, mirrors God’s relentless love for a wandering Israel. Despite betrayal and repeated backsliding, His desire is to heal, restore, and love freely. In Hosea 14:2–3, God outlines a prayer that reaches beyond actions to transform the very nature of our hearts. This episode unpacks the difference between sin and iniquity, the necessity of tearing down idols, and the power of offering God the praise that’s rightfully His. Judgment Begins at the Church

In this powerful episode of the Press Movement Podcast, the host revisits Ezekiel 8 and 9 to explore what it means to truly “press” in prayer—to apply force against the forces applying pressure to us. Through Ezekiel’s vision, listeners are invited to see from God's perspective: the corruption hidden within the sanctuary, the silent compromises of leadership, and the ways God's house has been infiltrated by idolatry, complacency, and spiritual apathy.God takes Ezekiel on a disturbing journey through the temple’s hidden sins—from elders worshipping idols in secret to women crying for pagan gods at the temple gate, and men openly turning their backs on the altar. The message is clear: what people call “a light thing,” God sees as abomination. Judgment begins in His house, and those who mourn sin—not those who excuse it—are the ones marked for mercy.Listeners are challenged to examine their lives, ask hard questions, and return to sincere, forceful prayer. The Basics of Spiritual Warfare

In this episode of the Press Movement Podcast, we pause our Bible-through-the-year journey to tackle “spiritual warfare.” This is an OVERVIEW of spiritual warfare, but will help you in your own studies.Host T. Porter explains that every born-again believer is enlisted in an unseen battle—between heaven and hell, flesh and spirit, freedom in Christ and slavery to sin. Drawing on 1 Timothy 1:18 and Ephesians 6, she reminds listeners that our victory is guaranteed when we refuse to bow, wielding weapons that are “mighty through God”: truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word, and—above all—unceasing prayer. Prayer isn’t a side note; it’s the oil that activates the armor and tears down strongholds. Porter urges us to fight the real enemy (principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness) rather than people, to discipline ourselves before confronting darkness, and to stay laser-focused, uncompromised by worldly distractions. Whether you’re wrestling with your own habits or interceding for others, let prayer be your reflex and watch the Word come alive.#presstopray #powerofprayer #spiritualwarfare #armorofGod #faithfight #praywithoutceasing #kingdomfocusFollow us on Facebook or Instagram or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com!

    Help Me Respond Right!

In this episode, Sister Mary Sanford explores the Book of Lamentations, using Jeremiah’s grief-filled prayer to teach about the power and posture of true prayer. Amid national devastation and personal sorrow, Jeremiah models how to pray honestly and humbly—acknowledging God’s righteousness, taking responsibility for sin, and expressing deep emotional pain. This lament becomes a powerful form of prayer, showing that brokenness invites God’s attention. Sister Mary emphasizes that judgment isn't destruction but a divine reset, leading us back to God. Real prayer starts by accepting God’s ways, repenting sincerely, and believing that even in pain, God is just—and He will vindicate His people. Jeremiah's Prayer: I'm Fed Up!

Jeremiah 18 paints a vivid image of God as the potter and His people as clay. When the vessel is marred, the potter reshapes it—just as God offers to remake us if we repent. But the people reject hope, believing they can't change, choosing evil instead. Despite God's history of faithfulness, they walk away in despair.Jeremiah’s response is prayer—raw, honest, and emotional. Unlike Moses or David who plead for mercy, Jeremiah asks for justice. His bold cry shows that prayer isn’t about perfection but connection. We can bring our full selves to God, knowing He hears—but trusting He’ll respond His way. This passage reminds us that prayer is powerful. Whether we’re seeking mercy or wrestling with pain, God invites us to talk to Him. He is the final decision-maker, yet always listening. So don’t hold back—pray boldly, honestly, and continually.
