Episodes

  1. 19 – Horrifying, But Whimsical

This episode is a two-for-one deal! Hannah covers “Dopesick,” a TV drama about opioid addiction with a queer protagonist — what could go wrong? Then, Sara covers the queer representation (and the flying pierogi) in Jordan Peele’s 2022 sci-fi/horror film, “Nope.“

  2. 18 – Two in a Million

Sara and Hannah dive into the 2022 true crime drama miniseries “The Staircase,” from Colin Firth’s portrayal of a devious bisexual to unrealistic hair expectations. Also featured: a disorganized TV/movie/book roundup and much ado about raccoons.

  3. 17 – Rooting for the Cheesecake Factory

Sara and Hannah emerge from hiding to discuss "The Fallout," a film about a high school student who survives a school shooting. Other discussion topics include what we were like as students, terrible reality TV shows, and queer book recommendations.

  4. 16 – And They Were Roommates!

Sara and Hannah return to the land of sapphic period pieces to discuss “Ammonite,” complete with some random 1840s facts. Plus, book recommendations from Sara, Hannah’s take on Stephen King, and more stuff you never asked for.

  5. 15 – You Can’t Bring Crudités to a Threesome

New year, same vocal fry! Sara and Hannah talk about Miranda July's 2020 film "Kajillionaire," then do a quick roundup of miscellaneous TV shows.

  6. 14 – I Love Christmas, But I Respect Film

Sara and Hannah discuss the holiday romcom "Happiest Season," then complain at length about the disastrous series finale of Supernatural.

  7. 13 – Total Eclipse of the Heart

After many months of procrastination, Sara and Hannah are finally back to talk (remotely) about the French historical drama "Portrait of a Lady on Fire."

  8. 12 – Wipe Off Your Pencil Mustache

Sara and Hannah each miss major plot points in the Spanish film "Elisa y Marcela," get mad at some critics, and do a rapid-fire queer media roundup.

  9. 11 – Gay or Nothing

Sara and Hannah talk about two 2018 films, "Boy Erased" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." Note: Content warning for non-graphic discussion of sexual assault from 10:45 - 14:00.

  10. 10 – Bad Vibes Only

Sara and Hannah tackle the somewhat controversial 2017 film "Call Me By Your Name," with a super vague history lesson, questions about consent, and a hot take on bad vibes.

  11. 9 – I'm Not Like Other Gays

Sara and Hannah talk about the 2005 classic "Brokeback Mountain," as well as its UK counterpart, "God's Own Country." Plus, constant mispronunciation of a Romanian name and (surprise!) tangents about Supernatural.

  12. 8 – Metaphor Sluts

Sara and Hannah talk about the film "Disobedience," as well as the false promise of fairytale endings. Plus, a "Jane the Virgin" update from Sara, and Hannah's take on the new sci-fi drama "Siren."

  13. 7 – New Age Queers

This time, Sara and Hannah discuss the film "Love, Simon" and coming out to family as teenagers. Plus, a visit to Communist Corner, and lots of fun tangents! So get out your healing crystals and enjoy.

  14. 6 – The Sweet Queerafter

Sara and Hannah discuss the award-winning "San Junipero" episode of Black Mirror, and go on a long tangent about the many flaws of the Twilight novels. Plus, more on Rosa's coming out storyline on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

  15. 5 – The Bi's Are Back in Town

Sara and Hannah are back, and on this episode they discuss Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Jane the Virgin, and a smorgasbord of other TV shows. Plus, a horrifying work story!

  16. 4 - Power Throuple

Sara and Hannah discuss bondage, polyamory, 1940s feminism, and more with their review of "Professor Marston and the Wonder Women."

  17. 3 - A Very Supernatural Drunkisode

Sara, Hannah, and special guest Tyler leave no stone unturned (and no wine glass empty) as they discuss the CW's cult classic, Supernatural.

  18. 2 - All Aboard the Queer Train!

Sara and Hannah discuss the Taiwanese film Drifting Flowers, the joys of chosen family, and queer characters on the TV show Shadowhunters.

  19. 1 - Plot Twists and Communists

Sara and Hannah are two queer besties, and for the very first episode of their new podcast, they're here to give you the deets on "Atomic Blonde."
