Packed with quotes and comedy bits abound, It's a movie that needs little to no introduction, and if you know us, you know it's one we're excited to finally get around to talking about! It's Happy Gilmore this week on the Radkast!

This week for 90s Summer 2026, we talk about a movie the personifies early 90s nostalgia! It has everything that strikes us right to the core of what we love about that time. A film that drips with attitude, charisma and style. It's hip, it's rad, and it's just plain cool. It takes listening to the episode to really justify why this movie has instantly become something special to us! It's Airborne this week on the Radkast!

On this edition of the show, it's the first week of The Radkast 90s Summer 2026! We kick off the festivities by talking about a 12 year old baseball player who just happened to be sent flying by slipping on a baseball, breaks his arm, has said arm heal in a way that gives him the ability to throw smoke, and winds up playing for the Chicago Cubs! It's another one of those highly quotable Sports movies from childhood, filled with kooky characters, humor for everyone, and a whole load of heart! It's Rookie of the Year this week on the Radkast!

This time around, we welcome back our pals from the From the Point Podcast, and two 5-timers, Chris Hoehne and Joe Gilbert to take on the gaming questions. This week on the show, it's another rip roarin' edition of the Six Mix! This go-around, we welcome, for the first time, friend of the show Brendan "B" Carter to take on the questions! Listen as the three of us talk a formative Movie Theater experience B had watching a world of Wizardry, laugh about the time he accidentally slapped a stranger in the back of the head, and we all get a little deep when discussing the importance of authentic self expression. All those things don't even scratch the surface of what we got into this week on the Radkast!

As the title suggests, and has we've been promoting, the time is finally here for the first live episode of the Radkast! For this very special edition, we broadcast from the St. Charles Taco King Taco Fest, and we talk a movie that maxes out the silly meter! It's a quirky film packed with juvenile humor and loads of slapstick, but it also has heart, charm, and a deep reverance for the culture it's depicting. Speaking of the culture, we also make sure to devote some time to the history and importance of Lucha Libre! We had some sights, sounds, smells, and plenty of food options to salivate over as we talked the 20th anniversary of Nacho Libre this week on the Radkast!

This week, we conclude Air Bud April by going backwards from where we were in the franchise! Josh and Buddy are now thick as thieves and hoopin it up. However, the new Vet in town has the hots for Josh's Mom. So, in order for a conflicted Josh to avoid his Momma's beau, Josh joins the School's Football team. As things in these films tend to go, wouldn't you know it, Buddy is good at Football too! He joins the team, escapes being captured by the slapstick villians, and helps bring the best out of his human teammates! Jake Vehlewald returns to help us cover Air Bud: Golden Receiver this week on the Radkast!

This week, we roll on with another entry in Air Bud April! In the final Bud playing sports installment, Andrea's bestie Tammy is moving to California. Crestfallen by the news, Andrea vows to raise the money to go visit her before the summer is over. After a few failed attempts at obtaining the funds, her new neighbor convinces her to join the town's sand volleyball team, for the league champions win a trip to California. As always, Buddy the dog turns out to be the missing piece for a struggling team. There's also a wise cracking bird, a brother who only eats ice cream, and per the usual, the standard bumbling criminals. It's Air Bud Spikes Back this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we continue through Air Bud April! In this AB installment, Josh Framm joins his school's soccer team, and by virtue of that, so does that lovable sport-playing pooch Air Bud! Josh is also smitten with the new girl in town, his kid sister Andrea is now old enough to get into mischief, and Buddy knocks up his lady love and becomes a father! It's Air Bud: World Pup this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, it's the first entry in our new series Air Bud April! Over the course of the next month, we'll be talking about four of the first five films in the Air Bud Film Franchise; for no other reason than Matt suggested it on a whim last Summer. This week, we finish March-ial Arts Month 2026 by celebrating the 40th Anniversary of arguably the greatest cult classic of all time! Our Mom, Donna Webster, and Sister, Samantha Kennedy join us to talk a tale as old as time. It's the action packaged 80's adventure about a man and his truck, a friend and his pursuit of his green eyed bride, a plucky lawyer, a wise sage, and a whole load of Chinese mysticism all squaring off against a cursed ancient sorcerer! Need I say more? It's the beloved Big Trouble in Little China this week on the Radkast!

This week, March-ial Arts Month rolls on with a lesser known B-Action Movie! Terry McCain is part Chicago Cop, part Jazz Pianist, and full on badass who plays by his own rules! However, his cavalier police work gets him in hot water with his chief, and his brutual Interrogation tactics end up keeping Kingpin Sal Dimarco from being brought to justice. To make matters worse, some misplaced money involved in a drug bust put a target on the back of Terry and his partners. Just when he thinks he's had enough, an unexpected turn of events present a whole new crop of challenges for Terry McCain! It's Excessive Force this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we carry on kickin' with March-ial Arts Month! On this episode, Pro-Football All-Star and fast living Blade Steele must complete community service hours by teaching and looking after latchkey kids at a youth center. Little does he know, he'll be in for more than he bargained for when not only do the kids run all over him, he is also being guided by Bruce Lee sent from Heaven to reform and learn Karate. Blade, under the tutelage of blind Karate master Chozen Wan, learns the martial art, brings it to the children to learn, and finds that cleaning up his act is a good thing. His new skill comes in handy when he finds himself in the middle of a different San Francisco treat; a drug ring using kid's to sell and run by a man by the name of Hector Machete. Blade, Chozen Wan, and a cop named Antonelli make it their mission to take down Machete and to save the kids! It's another obscure 90's movie, and it was funded by the D.A.R.E program! It's Kindergarten Ninja this week on the Radkast!

This week, we kick off another March-ial Arts Month with an obscure offering from the early 90s! Two teenage sisters, their teenage friend, and the trio's little friend Lupe must navigate through issues with a shady real estate developer giving the sister's Dad and the girl's martial arts grand master trouble. With the help of an agent from the department of family services, the girl's rocker male friends, and a dose of girl power, the group saves the school and wins the day! They're just some Black Belt Angels this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we are happy to present to you, dear listener, a dive back into the archive of the Proper Gentlemen Podcast! Like when we re-released a PGP in November 2020, we present to you an episode in the series where we talked the TV we grew up with! This go around, it's our discussion about our nostalgia for watching Nickelodeon!

However, after a visit from her eccentric Grandmother, she finds out a family secret that shows her she's more special than she realized! After following their grandma back to a land of Witches, Warlocks, and other amazing creatures, it takes Marnie, her two siblings, and their disapproving mother to help Grandma stave off a looming threat that casts a shadow over her whimsical home! All that, plus, after weeks of coming up short, Count Uli may have finally found a way to get his Castle back! It's Halloweentown this week on the Radkast!

On this episode, it's week three of the Radkast Five Weeks of Fright 5! On this edition, we talk a film that is a bonafide Halloween classic and is an institution this time of year! Max Dennison is a 90s teen who accidentally resurrects three devilshly charming witches with an appetite for children. It's up to him, his sister Dani, his crush Allison, and a talking cat named Thackery Binx to send the dreaded Sanderson sisters back to their graves before the trio can complete some 300 year old unfinished business! Before all of the that, Uli's hope for a more permanent dwelling quickly ends up being a very short stay! It's the movie that is top of the heap every Halloween season, it's Hocus Pocus this week on the Radkast!

On this episode, it's week two of the Radkast Five Weeks of Fright 5! Our brother Tyler returns to the show to help us talk about how much we adore just about anything with a Halloween theme, the Halloween traditions and movie rotations Tyler would partake in growing up, and also his particular affinity for peculiar Skeletons! Not to mention, Count Uli seeks the help of Count Boris and the Vampire Counsel to get his castle back. However, there's one major snafu that throws a wrench in his plans. Five Weeks of Fright is finally here! This year, we start off the 5th edition of our annual celebration of the spooky with the classic story of Casper the ghost and his journey to find a friend. It takes a grieving father and daughter both on their own journies of discovery, a villainess and her bumbling sidekick trying to obtain treasure, and his three gross ghostly uncles wreaking havoc for everyone's favorite friendly spectre to finally get what he's longed for! Not only that, but this episode also has the return of Count Uli in his own castle... but for how long? FWOF is back, and we ring it in by talking Casper this week on the Radkast!

Just before September closes, we're bring you a quick bonus episode right before we kick off Five Weeks of Fright! Joe Gilbert stuck around to help us discuss a missed opportunity Saban could've had with Super Sentai, we have some ideas on how social outrage over media can be curbed, and we continue to believe the message of the Power Rangers; ultimate good will always conquer evil. We're back after a two week hiatus, and we soldier on with the Radkast 90s Summer! In the penultimate edition of the series, we revisit a film that was constantly in our Movie rotation when we were kids! It's the tale based on a comic strip about a well-meaning, rambunctious, and precocious child and his adventures terrorizing his elderly next door neighbor, with a terrifying, theving drifter thrown in for good measure! No matter the lack of discipline or parental supervision, Dennis Mitchell remains a charming and lovable scamp! Its Dennis the Menace this week on the Radkast!

This week for RK 90s Summer, we revisit a film that not only celebrates it's 35th Anniversary in 2025, but was also a childhood favorite of ours! It's the well beloved and oft quoted tale of Arnold Schwarzenegger interacting with and teaching Kindergartners. There's obviously more to the story, but such an odd premise is pulled off so wonderfully. Although it is often times mis-categorized as a children's movie, and more times than not, has a darkness to it, it still remains a bonafide classic enjoyed by people of all ages to this day! It's not a tumor, but it's definitely Kindergarten Cop this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we wheeze a little juh-uice! 90s Summer rolls on as we talk a film that is a pure, un-adulturated time capsule of the early part of the decade! It has an excellent soundtrack, an off-the-wall premise, an endlessy charming Brendan Fraser caveman, and Pauly Shore's weasel persona hitting big at just the right time! Our dear friend Tyler Stricklan zooms in to be inducted into the Radkast five timers club, and while he's there, he helps us talk the forever cool cult classic Encino Man this week on the Radkast!

This week for The Radkast 90s Summer, we talk about an unsung hero in world of Sports movies! It's a movie that had an outlandish premise, but balanced it out and kept it grounded by showcasing some of the best shot and most realistic Baseball ever put to film. Even if you aren't as instrested in accuracy in your Baseball movies, theres still enough charm to keep you endeared to it. It's Little Big League this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we launch a new series with one of our favorite guests! For week eight of the Radkast 90s Summer, we revisit quite possibly the most 90's movie of them all, and definitely one of the biggest Summer blockbusters of the decade! Unlike when we talked about the film a few years ago, this go around we cover just about every bit of advertising that had Batman Forever slapped on it. We gush over the campaign itself, and try to illustrate just how big of an impact it all had on the film's success and how it set the standard for how Super Hero blockbusters would be marketed in the future! When it's soon found out by their classmates that the friends were planning on financially fleecing their parents, and hiding away for their own Summer ruckus, a host other kids come along for the ride to go buck wild in their own little haven. Even with snafus and close calls along the way, the audience is in for a fun adventure of 90s wish fulfillment! It's Camp Nowhere this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, Radkast 90s Summer rolls on with a sequel we used to watch constantly! So much so that we can't help but quote a bit and drop in a few audio clips here and there! Listen as we rejoin Wayne and Garth for a new adventure that sees Wayne wishing for a higher purpose in his life, having a vision quest where Jim Morrison tells him to put on a concert, and he and Garth set out to fulfill their destiny! Along the way they meet a kooky roadie, encounter a conniving record producer, and a sexy married woman has the hots for Garth. All the while, we the audience get the same absurdity and silliness we've come to expect from Aurora's favorite sons. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl...again as we talk Wayne's World 2 this week on the Radkast!
