The Rainbow Connection

When seeking to be entertained, people naturally seek out representations in media that we identify with - we want to see ourselves in the stories we love. There are some fandoms and realms that especially connect with queer and trans Albertans. These stories let us know that we too can go to the stars, or travel through time, or meet with fellow adventurers in a tavern, before a dangerous quest. Edmonton's own Allison Hadley goes in depth with local community members to learn more.
