Representation Matters: "Black Men in Education"
Education is one of the most rewarding and impactful fields to pursue. Like any profession, it has its ups and downs, but few experiences compare to the privilege of shaping young minds who will go on to accomplish extraordinary things. According to a 2022 article cited by ResearchGate, fewer than 2% ofBlack men in the U.S. hold doctoral degrees. Today, we have the privilege of hearing the stories of not just one, but two young Black men who represent this powerful achievement—reaching such heights of excellence while still in their youth.
