The IVF Alternative No One Told You About | Emma Waters
Infertility? IVF is not the only option. In this episode of The Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse Show, Dr. J sits down with Emma Waters of The Heritage Foundation to discuss IVF, infertility, donor conception, surrogacy, frozen embryos, and restorative reproductive medicine — a humane alternative that seeks to treat the underlying causes of infertility rather than ignore or bypass them. They also discuss the larger cultural picture: the separation of sex, babies, and marriage; the ethics of donor conception and surrogacy; the trauma of frozen embryos; the Alabama IVF case; the question of whether anyone has a "right to a child"; and why the pro-life movement must take reproductive technology seriously. The Gay Parenting Study THEY BURIED
They said the kids would be fine. But what if the research tells a very different story? In this episode, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse examines the gay parenting research that was buried — including a peer-reviewed study reporting that children with same-sex married parents had over four times the rate of serious emotional problems compared with children raised by a married mother and father. Dr. Morse walks through how an earlier "no differences" study was later reanalyzed, why the biological parenthood variable matters, and how corrections to the data changed the results. She also explains the important uncovering research by Fr. Paul Sullins and why families deserve honest answers about same-sex parenting, children's emotional well-being, and the long-term consequences of redefining marriage. The science about same-sex parenting is not nearly as settled as you've been led to believe. 📄 FREE REPORT — Refuting the Top 5 Gay Myths: https://ruthinstitute.org/ruthnewsletter/ Related video mentioned: What They Didn't Predict About Gay Marriage https://youtu.be/sHhjxiMq9fk Studies and sources discussed: Fr. The buried gay parenting study and why better data changes the picture
Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse joins the show to unpack a study on children raised in same sex households that she says was buried because its findings did not match the conclusions some researchers wanted. The conversation focuses on how earlier claims that "the kids are fine" were built on weak samples, and why newer, more representative data has produced very different results. We also discuss Mark Regnerus's work, how ideology can shape the use of social science data, and why statistical methods like multiverse analysis matter when researchers choose what to include, exclude, or redefine. Key topics In this episode, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse explains why she believes the latest video from the Ruth Institute exposes a suppressed study on gay parenting. She says the original "kids are fine" narrative relied heavily on small, nonrandom samples, including early studies based on 26 couples and other convenience samples. Morse contrasts those older studies with newer, larger, more representative datasets that she says show more serious emotional difficulties among children of same sex parents. She discusses Father Paul Sullens's role in reexamining a 2016 study and pushing researchers to revisit their conclusions. The conversation revisits Mark Regnerus's 2012 research on adult children from same sex households and the criticism he faced before his findings were later vindicated. Morse explains the difference between asking parents how their children are doing and asking adult children about their own outcomes after leaving the household. She argues that once government and census-style datasets became available, the earlier consensus about "no differences" became much less secure. The discussion turns to ideological bias in academia, with Morse warning that claims like "the science is settled" can be used to shut down questions rather than answer them. She connects the broader problem of relativism and ideological capture to medicine, law, and the public interpretation of data. Morse closes by describing how multiverse analysis can test whether a result holds up across many possible analytic choices, and why that kind of checking matters for controversial social science.

He Wanted His Baby. No One Cared About His Grief.
What happens when a father loses a child to abortion—but is told his grief doesn't matter? Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse discusses the powerful story of Sean Corcoran, who was 19 when his girlfriend became pregnant. Sean wanted to care for their child, and his parents even offered to adopt the baby, but the abortion went forward. In the aftermath, he found little acknowledgment or support for his grief. Dr. Morse explores what Sean's experience reveals about abortion, fatherhood, masculinity, and a culture that often overlooks the emotional impact abortion can have on men. The conversation also examines the broader consequences of dismissing grief and denying the importance of the bonds between parents and children.

You'll discover: how the SPLC's financial dealings raise serious questions about transparency and intent, including links to offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands worth nearly a billion dollars. The Scientific Evidence That People Can Change Their Sexual Orientation | Father Paul Sullins on Catholic Connection
This episode dives into recent legal battles, including the Supreme Court's landmark decision affirming therapists' right to help clients reconcile their feelings with their faith. We explore the dangerous parallels to other cultural issues like abortion and transgender rights, revealing how the push to silence dissent is less about science and more about imposing a restrictive moral order. Father Sullins discusses studies demonstrating that those who undergo efforts to diminish unwanted attractions often experience psychological benefits, including reduced suicidality, contrary to mainstream claims. You'll discover: how scientific data, from reputable studies by Diamond, Spitzer, and others, proves that change is possible and common; the real history of how therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction was eliminated from mental health guidelines; and how current laws threaten the freedom of religious and mental health professionals to serve their clients ethically. This is essential listening for anyone concerned about the growing suppression of what science and morality actually say about human sexuality—and why preserving the right to help those who want it is a moral imperative.

How Wokeness Harms Survivors of Abuse | Justin Greenfield | The Dr. J Show
In this deeply personal and wide-ranging conversation, Justin Greenfield shares his journey of faith, healing, and self-understanding after years of struggling with same-sex attraction. Together, he and Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse explore why simply telling people to "just stop" often fails, how childhood wounds shape adult struggles, and what real compassion, science, and Christian sanctification actually look like. This interview challenges popular narratives, offers hope rooted in truth, and points toward peace that comes not from denying pain—but from facing it. Justin Greenfield is an author, speaker, and spiritual director who received his master's in spiritual formation from the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Talbot School of Theology and also holds a 4-year degree in missions. In 2003, God revealed His love to Justin while a student at Johns Hopkins University. God provided key insights that led him out of homosexuality. Today, Justin speaks on issues related to church fellowship, compassion, sanctification, evangelism, and sexual identity. Justin has been speaking at churches, conferences, and on radio stations nationwide since 2004. Justin runs a spiritual direction and coaching practice for those looking for support on their own sanctification journey. If we don't speak first, the Enemy wins. If we wait for those struggling to come to us, we're more likely to lose them to the Devil. Here's the problem: the overwhelming majority of people struggling with homosexuality aren't revealing themselves to anyone in the church. They want to be invisible, because they are terrified of what will happen if somebody finds out their secret. Why risk facing shame and contempt, especially when they're not seeing changed lives of other homosexuals in their church? The solution: we speak redemptive truths over broad groups of people in our lives. That way, we reach those in need without them having to raise their hand and say, "Here I am!" If you read this book, pick up some great insights that can change lives, but simply wait for those who need help to come to you, then the Devil has already won those in your life. You must proactively speak holistic, redemptive insights to your circles of influence, whether that's a pulpit, a small group, or the dinner table. So who is one person you can share this information with, that homosexuality is typically developmental and the result of a number of statistically relevant factors, oftentimes including same-sex love-hunger? Who can you pass this video along to who may not struggle with homosexuality themselves, but just like everyone these days, they need to understand it? People need love and the lack of insights devastates lives. How can you say something to one person today? In this episode, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, founder and president of the Ruth Institute, joins Father Rob Jack, in Feb of 2025, for a candid conversation about the cultural fallout of the sexual revolution. From extreme political reactions involving sterilization to recent policies affirming biological reality, Dr. Morse explains why today's cultural chaos is rooted in a distorted view of sex, fertility, and the human body. The discussion then turns to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and its deeper moral consequences. Dr. Morse argues that IVF—whether used by heterosexual couples, same-sex couples, or single parents by choice—treats children as products rather than gifts. Drawing connections between IVF and transgender ideology, she warns that when society commercializes the body and severs love from procreation, the most vulnerable pay the highest price. Throughout the conversation, Dr. Morse calls listeners back to a fundamental truth: children are not a right to be claimed, but a gift to be received.

How to Find and Marry the Right Person
Impacting Culture speaker series at John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido, CA, February 5, 2025. Betsy Kerekes is co-author with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse of 101 Tips for Marrying the Right Person and 101 Tips for a Happier Marriage. She also wrote Be a Happier Parent of Laugh Trying. In this engaging Q&A discussion, Betsy Kerekes addresses how to approach dating, discernment, and marriage with clarity, faith, and realism. She emphasizes that the ultimate goal of life is holiness—and that marriage is meant to help spouses lead each other, and their children, toward heaven. Drawing from personal experience, Catholic teaching, and practical wisdom, she explores how to distinguish wants from needs in a future spouse, why unresolved personal issues and addictions must be addressed before marriage, and the importance of friendship, honesty, and self-control in relationships. Audience questions prompt thoughtful discussion on faith differences, motivation in dating, communication, and how to discern whether a relationship is healthy and ordered toward lifelong commitment. The conversation concludes with practical guidance on prayer, trust in God, and the importance of seeking wise counsel before making life-altering decisions.

Consequences of Redefining Marriage | Action University 2024
In this Action University 2025 keynote, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse examines the sexual revolution not as a series of disconnected social issues, but as a single, coherent ideology aimed at redefining human nature itself. Drawing from her book The Sexual State, she explains how contraception, divorce, and gender ideology share a common false premise—that sexual behavior can be separated from biological reality without consequences. Dr. Morse traces the long-term social, legal, and cultural fallout of this ideology, including the erosion of marriage, the destabilization of the family, and the rise of state power over private life. She argues that what was promised as freedom has instead produced contradiction, coercion, and dependency, and she makes the case that Christian teaching on marriage, family, and the human body remains intellectually defensible, humane, and socially necessary. The talk concludes with a call for clarity, courage, and resistance to ideological pressure, emphasizing that authentic freedom begins with truth about the human person.
