I am a traditionally conservative person in my beliefs and how I wish people would believe and behave and live their lives.I can only control my own, and I still fall short of those wishes many times every day.Stripped of all hypocrisies I sympathize with “right” ideology more than left:I’m a Christian. I don’t believe in so-called “hate” speech laws or “hate” crime multipliers.I believe killing anyone outside of immediate self defense is murder; this includes the unborn.I believe marriage is a religious institution and not a legal one, and therefore it must be sanctioned by God and not the state.That being said, many people in my life believe and behave completely counter to my desires.Three of my favorite people are Muslim, and others live what was once called alternative lifestylesMany are “leftists.” The closest person to my heart outside of my home is at least agnostic, if not atheist.I love each and every one of them enough to pray for their comfort and salvation and that they may find a relationship with Jesus Christ.Beyond that, I offer no judgement, as I believe I am both forbidden and unqualified to do so.You may judge them. That is your business, not mine. I can’t judge what is in your heart either. That is neither my role nor my desire.The only reason for me to care is when laws are being made or asked to be made to oppress them, for those laws will surely be used to oppress me when I encounter an unsympathetic dictator.
