In this weeks sermon, Jefferson gives an example of the miracle of photosynthesis. On this weeks episode, Joshua reflects on the image of God as light to reflect on what we can learn about who God is in our lives by reflecting on what light does in our world.

While Paul is awaiting his companions in Athens something in the city stirs his spirit. Despite their differences Paul finds common ground with his enemies in order to bridge the gap between their beliefs and the gospel of Christ.

Paul, Silas and Timothy continue to spread the gospel traveling further into Asia Minor - seeing a strong church emerge in Thessalonica!

This week we further discuss how to reflect Christ in the midst of opposition. In this world, we will face opposition and people who disagree with our beliefs. Paul and Silas are arrested by the testimony of false witnesses in the marketplace (calumny in the agora). We also talk about the example that Paul provides in the prison where in his humility, the Holy Spirit uses him to present the Gospel to many!

In this week's episode, we discuss the power of the Holy Spirit and the importance of the Church has Paul makes a decision for the sake of witnessing to non-Christians, has a vision to go to Macedonia, and pursues the mission to bring the Gospel into Europe without hesistation.

This week we reflect on conflict in the church as shown in Acts 15:36-41. From the descriptive task of Luke in Acts to the value of the church in handling conflict between her members, we discuss the importance of wisdom and humility in conflict resolution.

Join us as we discuss disagreement and denominations in Acts with the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15. As we continue our series in Acts, we reflect on how the church today can learn from the early church in both our relationships between local churches and our relation to the universal Church.
