Episode 20, Season Finale, Moon in Taurus with Jenn

Welcome to the final episode of Season One where we take a third and final look at Moon in Taurus. This episode brings it all home in more ways than one, having started the season with Moon in Taurus, now ending there with my wife, Jenn Sam as my guest exploring the “mixed bag” that is all things woo as she experiences them. Jenn discusses her history and experiences with dreams, deaths, UAPs, ghosts, medical problems, and haunted houses. Some of the stories are sad and tragic, but having lived together through several trenches ourselves, the undercurrent of our banter seems carry us lightly to the Moon and back. This has been an amazing project that would not have worked but for the generosity of my guests and for celestial green-lights before and during. What’s next? I do intend to take a break to ponder the next thing, unless It decides to ponder me. You never know around here. This episode was completed as Libra was rising on the day and hour of the Sun, under the night Sun conjunction with Mercury retrograde in Pisces, trine to Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, and trine to Moon in Scorpio. To support my work please consider becoming a paid or free subscriber to my Substack. Episode 19, Moon in Cancer with Madia

This episode welcomes Madia to represent Moon in Cancer. The name of this episode should be, “A Tale of Two Luminaries, Part 1”. Madia’s chart is a fascinating illustration of the contrast between the Sun and the Moon, as both luminaries are in a sovereign position, compelling yet divergent, as you will hear. Episode 18, Moon in Capricorn with Tiffany

I am delighted to be joined by Tiffany Moore for this second and final look at Moon in Capricorn, a placement which is said to be the Moon’s detriment or exile. Tiffany’s chart and experiences are living proof that planetary dignities such as exaltation or exile aren’t inherently good or bad; rather, they are important qualities that shape a planet’s expression. As you will hear, Tiffany has been immersed in magic since childhood, and she continues to be in the Woo as naturally and practically as I would expect from the Moon’s Earthy placement. But there’s a twist, there usually is. In Tiffany’s case, the Moon must share the house party with Capricorn’s A-list guest. Let’s see how they get along. Episode 17, Moon in Aries with Maribel

This is the third and final look at Aries, for which I am excited to be joined by Tarot Reader and Astrologer, Maribel aka La Gitana. Maribel and I were able explore some of the technical nuances that I don’t always get a chance to; nuances that nonetheless are reflected in Maribel’s lived experience. This conversation gets into many topics including the decans of Aries and Libra, the second decan of Virgo, Sun in the 12th house, the Sun vs. the ascendant or rising sign, and further reflections on the challenge of adjacent houses. Episode 16, Moon in Leo with Justin

I am pleased to welcome Justin to the podcast. We explore his natal Moon in Leo which challenges the typical associations of this Solar sign, yet still delivers fiery downloads of the fixed and stable variety. We get into the modifying influence of the 12th house, Mercury’s opposition from the 6th house of Aquarius, and the harmonious relationship with Justin’s descendant in the 7th house of Pisces. These points and angles resonate with prominent themes both in Justin’s history and his daily experiences. Get full access to Sam "Sky Guy" at skyguyreadings.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 15, Moon in Pisces with Kailey

I am excited to be joined by Kailey Moreno for a second deep dive into Moon in Pisces. Naturally, we go elsewhere too, as mutable energies tend to do. So look out for some tangents of Gemini, Jupiter, Mars, Aries, Scorpio, Venus, Libra, a few of the houses, and … so many things that I’m wondering how went everywhere. Such is mutable Water.Kailey’s Links:* Substack * InstagramEpisode 6, Moon in Scorpio, with Natalie Fehlner, referenced by Kailey when discussing Human Design. To support my work please consider becoming a paid or free subscriber to my Substack. Episode 14, Moon in Aquarius with Andrew

Happy new year, everyone. I am back to podding after a holiday hiatus. In this episode I am joined by Andrew Madsen who graciously opens up about his personal history, evolution, and recent experiences to give us a second glimpse at Moon in Aquarius. The Moon is said to be wandering through Aquarius, not quite at home and but not quite unwelcome either; except in Andrew’s case, his natal Moon is in one of Her favorite spots along Her travels. So let’s see if we can get a fix on this elusive energy.Andrew’s Links & Mentions* Instagram: @mercibeaudrew * Instagram: @Sowa Goat Sanctuary * Podcast: Nocturnal Animals with our mutual friend Rachel White of Totem Readings To support my work please consider becoming a paid or free subscriber to my Substack. Episode 13, Moon in Capricorn with Linda

I am pleased to release this episode in honor of our winter solstice here in the northern hemisphere. Linda Street joins me to explore her natal Moon in Capricorn, a sign which is said to be the Moon’s detriment or exile. Linda’s experiences and practices demonstrate how this placement is not a problem for her at all; in fact, I don’t think she would have it any other way. Enjoy listening, and happy solstice!Linda’s Info* Substack * Instagram @simplystreetmdTo support my work please consider becoming a paid or free subscriber to my Substack. Episode 12, Moon in Sagittarius with Alexis

In this episode, Alexis joins me for a second look at Moon in Sagittarius. I am happy to release this episode during the season of Fire aligned to autumn’s end here in the northern hemisphere. While the seasonal association doesn’t seem obvious, it does highlight the importance of the quadruplicities, or modes, of each element. In this case, the Moon finds herself in mutable Fire, a dynamic and divergent energy, always on the move, seeking the heights. Let’s see where that takes us.Alexis’ Contact Info* Instagram @lexd303* Email [email protected]* Substack @alexisdixon154702To support my work please consider becoming a paid or free subscriber to my Substack. Episode 11, Moon in Virgo with Jaime

For this episode I am joined by Jaime to explore the natal Moon in Virgo. Jaime’s chart was an example where the Moon‘s isolation is heightened by personal history as well the other planets, including a stellium in her cardinal ascendant. So we take a fascinating journey around Jaime’s natal sky to get a clearer view of her Moon who nonetheless seems to prefer remaining elusive and private. Episode 10, Moon in Aries with Liz

After some time off I’m back to editing and publishing podcasts exploring Moon signs and their connection to each guest’s woo experiences. For this episode, I am pleased to be joined by Liz of Hysterics | Heretics for a second look at the natal Moon in Aries. We break some of Aries’ stereotypes and highlight how the Moon’s interactions with other planets and points not only color Liz’s experiences, but also seem to prescribe the optimal setting and form for accessing her Lunar abilities… as dictated by the chart ruler. Just a heads up: We do touch briefly on the sensitive topic of suicide, so as I’ve said before, if you or someone you know is in medical or mental distress, then please get conventional help.To learn more about Liz, join her as she explores the intersections of what shouldn’t be possible with what is possible:* Subscribe on Substack * Poetry on Instagram * Questions or private inquiries: [email protected] shout out to Shaman extraordinaire mentioned in this episode, Rachel White of Totem Readings, who has some 🔥🔥🔥 new merch in collaboration with PUCK HCKY. Audrey is a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and people professional. Episode 7, Moon in Taurus with AJ

In honor of the Taurus full moon, I’m pleased to release this episode where I’m joined by AJ Goodwin to get a second look at the exalted natal Moon in Taurus. We explore AJ’s dreams as they may relate to the Moon, with some surprising influences from elsewhere in her chart. As much as we may be able to argue for or against astrology, for example by debating if astrology works, then shouldn’t people with similar placements be similar also? I think there are bad assumptions in that question, for example that astrology should account for everything, or should work like a factory mass producing identical copies of the same configuration. Neither of these seem to be the case, otherwise I don’t think I’d be here right now. For me, one of things that has kept me interested in astrology over the years is that each person’s chart seems to correlate uniquely with individual opportunities for further work. That’s where the magic really is.And just a heads up for anyone that may be sensitive to the topic, this episode very briefly mentions suicide. As I’ve said before, if you or someone you know is in medical or mental distress, then please get conventional help. That said, I hope you find this episode as interesting as I did.AJ’s Links* Instagram* SubstackIf you like the podcast and want to review it, please do so at Apple Podcasts or SpotifyThanks,Sam Get full access to Sam "Sky Guy" at skyguyreadings.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 2 - Moon in Pisces with Mark Phillips

For episode 2 we are traveling 60 degrees away from Taurus to Pisces, from stable Earth to tidal Waters. There is no intended order for this series; I think each will stand on its own. However, as the interviewer, I can’t help but see the rich contrasts from guest to guest, highlighting how different the Moon is in each natal chart. And so I hope that you also listen to more than one episode to experience for yourself what the Moon is up to; not only in different signs, but even in the same sign. More about that later. For now, let’s go to the Moon in Pisces with Mark Phillips.Mark’s Instagram: The Mind’s AyeMark’s Other Podcast Appearances* The Cracks that Let the Light Shine Through with Natalie Fehlner of Sidhe Readings* The Real Life Hogwart’s with Rachel White of Totem ReadingsThank you Rachel & Natalie for the connection!Disclaimer: I am not going out of the way to be family friendly. Neither am I trying to be edgy. These conversations sometimes touch on health, relationships, or other matters intended for the adults in the room. So, if you or someone you know seems to be in distress then please get immediate conventional help. Astrology and such things are not your first or best answers. Also for the adults of sound & stable mind, I sometimes refer to ritual or magical engagement of astrological forces. That’s not a mandate or requirement. For the curious, I would say that in the spectrum from “everyone is doing magic, just not well” to “you must be inducted into an authentic lineage and work your way up a grade system”, I’m in the section that says “know thyself and don’t do anything reckless.” A good practitioner has some training and knows the precautions as well as the risks. Because nothing is risk-free. Not even meditation, which I think is the best starting point for any progress toward magical work. Episode 1 - Moon in Taurus with Abigail

Welcome to season one of my podcast, where I’ll be exploring various Moon signs for correlations with each guest’s experience of the paranormal, psychic, the magical and all things woo. This season premiers as the Moon enters her traditional detriment of Capricorn. I didn’t plan that, but it’s a good opportunity to talk about terms like detriment or exaltation; I use these throughout the episodes where I explain that they’re not judgments of good or bad; but they are qualities that I believe are relevant. The traditional 7 so-called planets are said to have essential dignity in various signs, even the Sun whose detriment is Aquarius and depression is in Libra. Does that mean those placements are bad? No, in the same way that minor keys and diminished chords are not bad; rather, they are necessary and have their place. So, I take essential dignities as one component of the type of song the stars were singing when you were born. Parts of you may not like the song, but other parts of you do and insist on their expression. The good or bad of it really is up to you.On another note. Sometimes the conversations touch on health issues, and just in case something seems out of context or my position seems ambiguous, I want to clarify: if you or someone you know seems to be in distress, or is having medical or mental health problems, please get immediate conventional help. Astrology and such things are not your first or best answers. Also, I sometimes refer to ritual or magical engagement of astrological forces. That’s not a mandate or requirement.
