Episodes

  1. Episode 23: Leftovers

We accidentally recorded too many Thanksgiving-ish episodes, so we decided to release one this week. We try an Oktoberfest from St. George, a red ale from Maine Beer Company (Red Wheelbarrow), and a chardonnay barrel aged saison from Ballast Point that contains honeydew (Tres Street). Cheers!

  2. Episode 22: Urine for it now!

Today there is some random chatter about pee, but also we talk beer. We try 3 Floyds Wig Splitter Oatmeal Stout, Hardywood Christmas Pancakes, and Estonia's own Pohjala Brewing Barrel-aged Gruit. Cheers!

  3. Episode 21: Slightly Overrated

Today we try an Icelandic beer as we rank our most overrated beer styles.

  4. Episode 20: Christmas Mini with Hardywood Gingerbread!

This is a special mini-episode recorded for the season. It contains one of our favorite beer of all time. Hardywood Gingerbread Stout. For comparison we also try Kentucky Christmas Morning by the same brewery. Cheers!

  5. Episode 19: Winter Ales and Charles Bronson's Junk

Today we have a brew from New Grass Brewing, Acht Schlenkerla, and Wicked Weed. We also get off on tangent after tangent.

Today we try out four Troeg's Mad Elfs. These are all from different years

  7. Episode 17: The Breweries for Which We Are the Most Thankful

Today is a bit different. We countdown the top 5 breweries we are each thankful for. SPOILER: Steven loves Macro-lagers1

  8. Episode 16: Hellboy Can Suck It!

Back to beer after a quick moonshine break, the guys try a terrible comic book inspired beer from Gigantic Brewing, an interesting Jamaican stout from Red stripe, and Terrapin's Beerista variety of Wake-n-Bake stout.

  9. Episode 15: Just Like Warm Apple Pie

Today the fellas decide apple pie "moonshine" is not their thing. They try two varieties from Gatlinburg, TN and a third from some random hobo in the woods.

  10. Episode 14: West Virginia's Finest and a Cider

Today we partake in several great beer. The first from Great Divide is a Wood Werks Imperial Rye Brown. The second is a Cider Doughnut cider from Beak and Skiff in New York (which Jon calls a beer over and over again). And finally we have a brilliant collaboration from Weathered Ground (WV) and...

  11. Episode 13: Chocolate is a compliment!

Today we try Agrestic by Firestone Walker, Sexual Chocolate by Foothills, and Shattered Dreams from Siren Craft Beer. Steven goes on politically incorrect rant while Jon brags about his mediocre 5k time.

  12. Episode 12: Jam Bands, Looney Tunes, and Solid Hop Bombs

Today we try an apricot Tripel from Braserie Dieu De Ciel! in Canada. We also bask in the hop juices of Parkway's Save the Galaxy and Lagunitas' Waldo's Special Ale. Cheers!

  14. Episode 10: Some Big OLD Stouts

Tonight we try a Fuller's Reserve Ale from 2018, a Destihl Rye Barrel Russian Imperial Stout from 2016, and a well aged Prairie Artisan Paradise Stout with Coconut. We also spend some time bitching about the old beer snobs we have to deal with at bars.

  15. 009-Hardywood and Poptarts

Today we try out a Decadent Toaster Pastry Ale and a bourbon aged offering from one of our favorites, Hardywood. Also Jon, being a moron, confuses his off-flavors in an effort to sound like he knows what he is talking about.

  16. 008--Seagal is a jerk. Oh, and we drink beer!

Today the guys spend too much time berating 80's action stars. They also try a few beer from Abomination Brewing, Olde Hickory, and Hoof Hearted. Also the first attempt at a rating system goes hilariously off the rails.

  17. 007- Beer-venture Buys

Today we sip on a few brews picked up on travels through the area. Two beer come from Nelson Co., Virginia. Those are WIldman Dan Crooked Room Saisson and Devil's Backbone Rye of Sunshine. Also out of Louisville, KY we are trying Attila the Hen from Against the Grain. Cheers!
