Episode 02- Letting Go Part 2

Today’s episode is part 2 of a 2-part topical rambling on letting go. Letting go, for me, was focused on two different aspects – letting go of stuff (physical items) and letting go of emotional baggage. In this episode I share how I learned to let go of emotional baggage, specifically the emotional baggage related to my divorce. I share the process I went through to let go of all of the emotional baggage, as well as the benefits I have found having done it. The episode also touches on how letting go of emotional baggage can be an ongoing/long-term process. And while I believe we all have to come to our own letting go process, I do believe we can learn from what others have gone through. It’s not an easy or quick process to be sure, but it is one thing I think we all wrestle with, and thus can relate to. I hope this episode has served you in some way. Thanks so much for listening! Episode 03 - Staying Positive

Today’s episode is a Q&A session featuring questions sent from listeners like you. Today’s question is how do you manage to have a positive attitude/outlook on things, both good and bad things…how do you keep the bad things from bothering you when they happen? A great question with a multi-faceted answer. I share how I work daily to keep a positive attitude and outlook through my morning routine as well as how perspective and gratitude make all the difference in how I respond to the things that happen in my life. I also share how I use inspirational quotes and motivational books to maintain a positive perspective on things. It is no quick and easy trip, but it is a powerful transformation if you choose to make it. Hal Elrod’s book The Miracle Morning Like what you are hearing in the podcast? Want more?
