s l o w b u r n Sounds from the void / deep moods from the New York underground Photos by Cherrie Mio Rhodes

  4. 049

A little'a'this, a little'a'that, some tunes I've been enjoying; groovy, dark, hypnotizing, trancey atmospheres — sonic immersion from a Summer in rêve: Detroit, New York, the Adriatic Sea; songs from the void, sounds from the deep.

  5. 048

Here's a new Sound of You set with some sounds I've been playing to keep warm this winter. I've been having fun threading together deep layered progressive melodies with some rave atmospheres, music for the late hours. Be well <3 Artwork is by Cat Huss.

  6. 047 (Live at Deep Space J.C. 10.24.24)

This one is a nice long sloooooow burn... Deep Space Gallery is a really cool contemporary arts gallery a short walk away in my neighborhood of Jersey City, and home to this awesome work Space Rocks by Shamona Stokes. It’s a gallery, incubator, and home for many local artists of all kinds, and a...

  7. The Sound of (Me) 046 (Live in New York 2006)

Over many recent conversations about classic trance, techno, and the O.G. underground New York scene I grew up in, I've been reminiscing a lot about my roots and beginnings as a DJ. I got my first gig playing a teen night at Club Deep in New York at the age of 15 around 2002, produced over the…

  11. The Sound Of You 042

We'll take it up a few notches with my next couple episodes, but for episode 42, let's slow it down and soak into these cool deep dark grooves. 18. The Sound of You 035

As it has become clearer that many of us in the major cities around the world won't be seeing the inside of a club or warehouse party anytime soon, I wanted to capture some peak-time lightning in a bottle with this set. The result is some booming 3AM vibes, real head-bobbing techy stuff; I...

  21. The Sound of You 031

On this episode, we put the focus back on some trancy melodies as well as some dark and raw warehouse/rave sounds. The second half is not for the faint of heart, and reaches some dark depths, but not any ground we haven't yet covered on previous episodes.... until the closing track. Tracklist 1....

  22. The Sound of You 030 (Summer Special)

I think it's been a weird summer for a lot of people, myself included: strange weather patterns, long periods of rain, weird moments of unseasonal cold juxtaposed with record-setting temperatures a couple weeks later. I put together a bunch of tunes I've been enjoying these last few months, not...

  24. The Sound of You(th) 028

It's been a while but, as they say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder", so I'm back for a new episode of the podcast. I approached this one with some sounds I've been enjoying lately. This episode veers into darker, more forward-thinking afterhours territory, and it's definitely not for the...

  25. The Sound of You(th) 027 (Live at Luminosity Beach Festival 2017)

Here is my 1 hour set live from Luminosity Beach Festival 2017. As mentioned in the last episode, this was Part 2 of 2 gigs last month that were my last 2 international DJ gigs. I tried my best to capture some of my favorite sounds and artists over the span of the last 13 years I've been…

  26. The Sound of You(th) 026 (Live in Praha)

As I reflect on the last couple weeks I got to spend traveling Europe, my mind gave way to a bigger picture, something to frame it all within: all these years and hard work, passion, tears, emotion I've put into my music came to a boiling point as I said farewell (kind of) to my international…

Here is my 4+ hour set live from the WildPitch Music Hall in Atlanta, Georgia. 28. The Sound of You(th) 024

After a very high octane end to last episode, I decided to really bring it down with this one and do something a little bit different. Some of these songs are on the slower end, and others I've purposely slowed down, to capture another side to the melodic music I usually play. Songs take on an...
