Part 4: “After Apollo” In this episode the focus shifts from competition to preservation. Space law expert Michelle Hanlon explores the legal realities of the Apollo landing sites and how norms, first-mover behavior, and the Artemis Accords will shape the Moon’s future. That legal reality is paired with Jim Remar of the Cosmosphere, who shows how close we have already come to losing the physical legacy of the Apollo era and why preservation still matters. When you think of an ocean, Earth is probably what comes to mind. But our planet isn’t necessarily the only world with water. NASA notes that moons, dwarf planets and comets can sustain water in various forms, from ice to water vapor. There is a lot of excitement about moons that orbit Jupiter and Saturn, since some of these worlds potentially have water that exists in a liquid state.
