#9: Can you control your thoughts?

In this episode we discuss the lack of control we have on our thoughts and how instead we can learn how to use our inner dialogue and manage those thoughts. Our brains are complex and the average person has approx. 60,000 thoughts per day. Which is great to know, because why would we allow 1 thought in 60,000 thoughts rule our lives. We focus on the negative more so than the positive and so in this episode I'm going to share some ways that may help you learn how to manage your own thoughts. I hope you enjoy the episode.

#8: The Power of Practicing Gratitude

There is a way to practicing deep gratitude in line with the Universal Law and this episode I share my experience and knowledge of how they connect. For me practicing gratitude is a MUST and it can be life changing, it certainly has been for me. Once you start to practice gratitude on a daily basis and embody the feeling of gratitude it completely changes your perspective and outlook on life. I’ve always practiced gratitude and kindness since I was born, taught by my parents to be grateful for everything that comes my way including the lessons in life when life doesn't always go the way I planned. Life isn't perfect and nor should it be. It's a journey to explore and we explore it with a sense of curiosity, kindness and gratitude. I reference the following books in this week's podcast. #7: Building Self-Confidence

In this episode we explore what confidence is and ways in which you can help improve your confidence levels. Confidence isn’t always an outward expression, it’s an internal belief system that needs to be developed. It requires taking action, developing our skillset and knowledge as well as practice. Practice is ultimately what helps us become more confident in anything we do.  Confidence helps us in many ways; relationships, friendships, work life and business to name a few. Building self-confidence allows you to gain freedom from self doubt and negativity in your life. Not only does it make you feel good but by projecting good self-confidence you will become more attractive to a partner, friendships, getting hired for that next job and it will help you feel confident in making important decisions.  References: Your body language may shape who you are | Amy Cuddy https://youtu.be/Ks-_Mh1QhMc?si=G1flIkhKl7eRlWVD What exactly is The High 5 Habit? | Mel Robbins https://youtu.be/khujbeJvqcE?si=uwsjQDlJJT1M21is

#5: Getting to know your cravings

This week we’re getting to know more about cravings. Why they happen? What they could be telling us? And how to manage them. The body is an incredible machine. Your heart never misses a beat and your lungs never miss a breath. The body is a super computer that doesn't make mistakes. Given the right elements it can thrive and something that tends to stop us in our tracks towards our wellbeing goals can be cravings and not knowing how to handle them.  Lately, I’ve seen a lot of misguided information on social media which creates an impression that cravings are a lack of will power, and I am here to disagree with that entirely.  Let's talk more.
