Episode #437 – My 40th High School Reunion
Forty years. How is that even possible? In this episode, I look back at my 40th high school reunion, the people who made it memorable, and the strange realization that time somehow moves faster every year.I also spotlight my classmate Mike Burns and his incredible Hall of Fame bowling career. It's always fun to see classmates who have accomplished amazing things, and Mike's story is definitely worth celebrating.A special thank you goes to Tim Raynor for his kind words. Along the way, I also discover that I apparently forgot where the apostrophe belongs when making someone's name possessive. (Is it Raynor's? Thankfully, English teachers aren't grading this podcast.)Finally, I revisit my C.A.T.S. designation and introduce an all-new SUPER C.A.T.S. designation. What does it mean? You'll have to listen to find out—but if you've ever wondered what separates good from truly exceptional, this one's for you.Join me for stories, laughs, a little nostalgia, and a few moments that prove getting older doesn't necessarily mean growing up.

Episode 436 What Job Will YOU Give Me?
This episode is a little different—and it's dedicated to my classmates as we celebrate our 40th High School Reunion.Instead of me telling you what I've been up to, I want YOU to decide. Come find me at the reunion and start the conversation with:"I heard you've been..."Then make up absolutely anything.Maybe I've become a shark wrangler. Maybe I'm the official taste tester for NASA. Maybe I coach penguins to play golf. Whatever you come up with, I'll respond as if it's 100% true and spin the most outrageous, completely improvised story I can. It's a chance to laugh, reconnect, and create a few unforgettable reunion memories together.So... what have you heard I've been doing?

Episode #433 – [Placeholder]
Sometimes the title comes first.Sometimes the episode comes first. And sometimes... neither one shows up.Welcome to Episode #433, appropriately titled "[Placeholder]", because even after recording it, Ro wasn't entirely sure what to call it—or even what the first third of the episode was about.Somewhere along the way, however, inspiration strikes as Ro develops the concept for Bathroom Assassin, a movie that absolutely should star legendary adult film actor Rocco Siffredi. Is it a thriller? A comedy? A cinematic masterpiece? That remains to be seen, but the brainstorming session is half the fun.The episode wraps up with something a little more grounded as Ro discusses navigating three very different situations while enjoying the Tampa Bay Rays' visit to Kauffman Stadium for their series against the Kansas City Royals. It's a reminder that even amid life's chaos, baseball still has a way of bringing everything into focus.Like many conversations on The Stoned Genius, this episode wanders without a map, stumbles onto a few unexpectedly entertaining ideas, and somehow ends exactly where it was supposed to.Often Stoned. Episode #432 – Are You My Daddy?
What happens when a WNBA player starts reminding you a little too much of... yourself? In Episode #432, Ro wonders if Indiana Fever enforcer Sophie Cunningham could somehow be his long-lost daughter. Not because of genealogy—but because of attitude, competitiveness, and a willingness to stir things up on the court. The similarities are... unsettling. Then the conversation takes another unexpected turn when Ro addresses the uncanny resemblance he's been told he shares with legendary adult film star Rocco Siffredi. Coincidence? Genetics? Pure internet nonsense? You decide. And perhaps the biggest surprise of all... THE BAG continues to evolve. What started as a joke has taken on a life of its own, changing shape in real time during the recording of this very episode. At this point, nobody—including Ro—is completely sure where it's headed. As always, expect humor, questionable logic, unexpected detours, and just enough self-awareness to keep everyone guessing.Often Stoned. Always a Genius.🎙️ Subscribe to The Stoned Genius PodcastYouTube: @The_Stoned_GeniusInstagram: @thestonedgeniusX: @the420genius

Episode #431 – I've Reconsidered Some Things
Sometimes life changes your perspective. Sometimes age changes your perspective. And sometimes you simply realize you were wrong. In Episode #431, Ro takes a deep dive into a few opinions he's held for years and explains why he's reconsidered some things when it comes to threesomes, orgies, and the realities versus the fantasies.Along the way, he somehow ends up discussing actress Natasha Henstridge, her identical twin, and the legendary City Girls. As always, the conversation takes a few unexpected turns before arriving at a surprisingly thoughtful destination.Ro also reveals the minimum number of participants required before he'll officially classify something as an orgy. Spoiler alert: the answer is eight plus Ro, and that number was not arrived at lightly. There is methodology involved. It's funny. It's ridiculous. It's probably overanalyzed. And it's exactly the kind of conversation you'd expect from The Stoned Genius.Often Stoned. Episode 429: Who Do You Get Confused For?
Have you ever been mistaken for someone else? In Episode 429 of The Stone Genius Podcast, Ro dives into one of the most unusual and entertaining recurring themes of his life: being confused for other people.Over the years, strangers have assumed he's a former college athlete, a retired professional player, or even an Olympic competitor. Standing 6'5" with an athletic build tends to attract attention—and plenty of assumptions. But none of those cases compares to the most outrageous mistaken-identity story of all.Ro shares the hilarious tale of how his best friend Mitch, Mitch's mother, and even his girlfriend at the time became convinced he was actually internationally known adult film star Rocco Siffredi. What began as a casual observation quickly turned into a running joke that followed him for years, leading to awkward conversations, double takes, and some unforgettable reactions.Along the way, Ro explores why people are so quick to connect unfamiliar faces to familiar ones, how first impressions shape perception, and what it's like to spend a lifetime having others decide who they think you are before they've even met you.Filled with humor, self-deprecation, and stories that are almost too strange to be true, this episode asks a simple question with surprisingly entertaining answers:Who do you get confused for? From mistaken identities and celebrity comparisons to the strange assumptions people make based on appearance alone, Episode 429 is a funny, candid, and thought-provoking look at identity, perception, and the stories that emerge when people think they already know who you are.

Episode 428 The Last Time I...
Have you ever done something for the last time without realizing it?In this reflective and deeply personal episode, I explore 45 moments from my life by asking a simple question: When was the last time I...? From childhood memories and major life milestones to the life-changing impact of my stroke, each question becomes a journey through the moments that shaped who I am today. Some answers are funny. Some are nostalgic. Some are surprisingly emotional. Together, they serve as a reminder that life rarely tells us when we're experiencing something for the final time.Join me as I look back, share stories, and reflect on the importance of appreciating the moments we're living right now—because we never know which one might be the last.#TheStonedGenius #TheStonedGeniusPodcast #StrokeRecovery #LifeLessons #Reflection #PersonalGrowth #TheLastTimeI #NewBeginnings #Gratitude #Resilience

Episode 427 Shawn Wickens Getting Double Stuf
On this episode of The Stoned Genius Podcast, Ro is joined by New York City-based comedian Shawn Wickens, author of Time Travel Blueprints (available on Amazon) and host of the worldwide Secret Time Travel Meetings. What starts as a simple conversation about Double Stuf Oreos quickly spirals into a discussion that only these two could have. Along the way, they tackle important questions such as: Are Double Stuf Oreos actually better? What exactly was in Al Capone's Vault? And how does a guy who hosts secret time travel meetings end up debating sandwich cookies on a podcast? No major mysteries are solved, no time machines are built, and Al Capone remains mostly unavailable for comment, but there's plenty of laughter and more than a few unexpected detours along the way.So grab a snack, twist apart your Oreos however you see fit, and join Ro and Shawn for an episode that's equal parts comedy, curiosity, and complete nonsense.Often Stoned. Always a Genius.

Episode 426 What Happened to My Dreams?
Despite the title, I never actually get around to talking about my dreams. Instead, I take a winding detour through friendships, tall people, CVS Specialty Pharmacy, and the strange world of Celebrity Jeopardy.Along the way, I develop brand-new conspiracy theories involving COVID vaccines and library cards, question why dogs insist on drinking water outside when there's perfectly good water indoors, and somehow manage to solve absolutely none of life's great mysteries. No conclusions. No breakthroughs. Just a fun, unpredictable ride through whatever happened to be rattling around in my brain that day.As always, we're often stoned, always a genius.

Ouch! That Hurt ep 419
Not because of scheduling. Not because of technical issues. Not because the Dobermans unionized. But because I bumped my head — hard enough that Bobbi was genuinely concerned. What started as a normal day turned into ice packs, monitoring, and the classic question:“Are you okay?”Depending on who you ask… still debatable.Bobbi kept a close eye on me (the dogs were less medically helpful than advertised), and after a little rest and evaluation, The Stoned Genius lives to podcast another day.So yes…He made it.Episode 419: “Ouch. Ghosts, Aliens, and Such
In this episode of *Ghosts, Aliens, and Such*, Ro tackles the titular subjects with his trademark conversational style and frequent tangents. He questions why ghosts can't simply talk instead of using charades and details an elaborate, imagined action sequence where he, along with his friends James and Ben, fights off malevolent, probing aliens in zero-gravity—with Ro serving as the indispensable 'hype man.' Along the way, he also shares highly personal anecdotes about his next episode's embarrassing childhood photo, an extended, humorous (and explicit) theory on pineapple on pizza, his love for his daughters (and their sports prowess), and the daily challenges of his post-stroke life, all with minimal apology for going off-script.
