The T - a tsquared podcast

If you’re reading this, you’re probably curious as to what started it all? Why did these rather silly people start off on a quest to build a community via theatre and laughter? We met working in a box office and our box office shenanigans led to Starbucks outings. After wasting too much of our hard-earned cash on questionable coffee, we realised that our mutual snarkiness, weirdness, and love of theatre meant we would be bothering each other for the rest of our lives. In order to do that (and make some art along the way), we founded TSquared Production Company in 2018. Part of what drew us together was that, time and time again, we experienced plays that were stripped of their humour. In our experience, when something bad happens, people use laughter to survive. Joy, loss, grief, and trauma are channeled through a joke, a wisecrack, a smile when you really want to cry. We believe the most honest reflection of life includes humour and that it is essential to all stories
