I know this is crazy late, partly my fault, partly the internet BUT HEY IT'S HERE!!! Jeff is joined by grumpy ol D and they talk about the first two episodes of the final season of The Boys on Amazon Prime. We'll be back with more soon! 

D joins Jeff at the podcast table to discuss the newest season of Peacemaker so far, predictions for the future of the series and the DCU, and other semi-random topics.    The TB&J Podcast stands by all Americans ability to excercise their right of freedom of speech. The Constitution is more than just ink upon vellum. 

Jeff and D talk about the new Fantastic Four movie and go off on a variety of different tangents, but they eventually discuss the film, I promise! 

With Sinners hitting streaming this weekend, we thought what better way to come back to the podcast studio than to cover a movie you all can enjoy from your couches very very soon.    Now... are you going to invite me in, or what? 

Every freaking year there's some new fangled flavor that all the companies in the world agree on as like, THE flavor. This year it's PB&J and spicy dill pickle. SPICY DILL PICKLE. What the heck...   Anyway, here's a show where I force my dear friends to eat this stuff. I really liked most of it actually... #bratsummer

Jeff and Troy take a look at the NFL, the new Star Wars show, and whether or not Troy is really a Philly local.  Honestly, do not ever go to Pat's or Geno's. Go to literally any corner shop or food cart and you will have a better experience, I promise you. There is no "best" cheesesteak - almost every single place does a good one, there are a few great ones, but NONE of them are worth that hassle, time, or money.  Go Birds. 

There were nuggets of good in this film, but poor direction, a messy script, and a lack of any kind of payoff to the rising action all lead to a sheer disappointment of a film that really just falls off a cliff at the end.  Save your money, folks. Skip this one unless you really want to watch a lot of bad movie for a few good singing and dancing numbers.  Thank you to special guest Caitlyn! 

I mean, if I had to pick my favorite part, I'd say probably seeing Aubrey Plaza get semi nude? But even that couldn't make me enjoy this overly pretentious stinker. 

Follow the witchy brick road!  But seriously. Rest in peace to my Nana, Mrs. Irene Cusat. You were beloved and cherished by many, and will be sorely missed. 

What did you think of House of the Dragon? I know D makes his point for it's greatness, but I (Jeff) still maintain it's on the boring side and perhaps a little poorly written.  But maybe I'm still upset about D's take on Deadpool, who knows

Seriously. This movie only made 9 million in its opening weekend. Hoooo boy. A good reminder that the Last of Us and Fallout shows are the exception, not the norm. 

It's not a story the Jedi would tell you...

Jeff firmy believes this movie is actually pretty good, despite what D had to say. Go see it if you like Deadpool and Wolverine as characters. 

At some point D makes us talk about Marvel and DC for wayyyyy too long.   "You're all fucking welcome"   Also, I support Kyle Gass. 

Why the long face? *sigh*....Antifa. 

We also delve into The Boys talk for a bit there. We discuss the events of the Dance of Dragons war, but only to the effect of what's discussed in Game of Thrones. No book spoilers. 

Houghie getting sexually assaulted for a laugh seems... like an odd take for this show. Maybe it's just me.

TB&J eats (or to be more precise, drinks) the new red, white, and blue Mtn Dew flavors.  Happy Independance Day to those who celebrate. 

Ryan and Hugh... if you are out there... Big fan. 

So, I said the lobotomy theory first, which doesn't mean Troy didn't also have it, and then Troy said the brain regen theory.  In conclusion... go vote this year.

Well, we tried to stay on topic... then D remembered some old comic company and we lost it for a while.  Happy Juneteenth, friends. 

I mean, I am all for it if it means we get some more cool lightsaber hilts and I am all for more yellow blades in the universe. Just sayin'.    Happy Pride, y'all.
