The Ten to One Podcast

Named after the time slot reserved for the oddball sketches of Saturday Night Live, this podcast from three die hard SNL fans dives into every new episode of the sketch series that is not only a staple of television but an institution of comedy. Bradford Oman (aka Ethan Anderton at SlashFilm.com) and his friends Ben Konowitz and Nate Loucks will discuss every sketch from each new episode, rate the host, and pick their favorite player of the evening. Plus, there are bound to be stupid bits and dumb tangents.

    Episode 119 — Will Ferrell (Season 51)

Will Ferrell is home, and he brought Paul McCartney, Molly Shannon, Chad Smith, Aziz Ansari, and the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein with him. Brad, Nate, and Ben break down the May 16, 2026, season finale of Saturday Night Live (the 1,008th episode in the show's history), hosted by the man widely considered the greatest cast member in the show's history, for the sixth and latest time, with legendary musical guest Paul McCartney. The guys go sketch by sketch through a star-packed Season 51 sendoff that features the host returning yet again in a cold open, a monologue that required two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers to sort out, a doctor who did something truly unforgivable during a routine gallbladder surgery, a high school drama teacher who never should have been allowed near children, and a nuclear family that should probably just... stay facing forward. Plus, the season finale Joke Swap, where Colin Jost came dangerously close to losing something far more important than his dignity, and a curtain call that traded goodbyes for a surprise encore from a living legend.Topics include:- "Cast List 2" — Should a cut-for-time sketch have stayed cut for time, or was the sequel worth it?- Mikey Day's 200th episode and his near-breaking in "Post-Op"- Dan Bulla's "Bobbin's Sacrifice"- "The Nudemans": old-school Ferrell absurdism in 2026. Does it still land?- The Joke Swap: Jost's hair, Che's jokes, and the bald cap reveal- Both cut-for-time sketches: "Hormuz Jeff" and "Juicy Toobins"- The Bradometer- MVP and Sketch of the Night for Season 51, Episode 20Season 51 is officially in the books. Episode 118 — Matt Damon (Season 51)

Matt Damon is back in Studio 8H for the third time, and he brought Brett Kavanaugh with him. Brad, Nate, and Ben break down the May 9, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live, the 1,007th episode in the show's history and the penultimate episode of Season 51, hosted by the Oscar-winning star of the upcoming Christopher Nolan epic The Odyssey, with musical guest (and fellow New Englander) Noah Kahan returning for his second appearance. The guys go sketch by sketch through a surprisingly strong penultimate episode, including a cold open that reunited Damon's beloved Brett Kavanaugh with Colin Jost's Pete Hegseth and a surprise second week of Aziz Ansari as Kash Patel, a pre-taped cat litter ad that spiraled into domestic chaos, a Mom Movie Trailer tailor-made for Ashley Padilla, a block party full of guys who are decidedly not tough, and a season-closing Auctioneers sketch that might be the most linguistically impressive thing SNL has pulled off in years. Plus, a 17-minute Weekend Update featuring Jeremy Culhane's Tucker Carlson at the Met Gala, two kamikaze military dolphins, and a Jane Wickline song that is somehow both deeply relatable and a complete rebuke of basic social responsibility.Topics include:The Kavanaugh impression: still got it?Is Auctioneers the sketch of the season?Ashley Padilla continues her case for cast MVPThe Bradometer resultsAnd the penultimate Player of the Night--Follow us on Twitter: @TheTenToOnePodLike us on Facebook: /thetentooneSubscribe to our Youtube Channel: @TheTenToOnePodcastVisit our new website at thetentoone.com.Please rate, review, and subscribe to the Ten to One Podcast and participate in the conversation on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.

    Episode 117 — Olivia Rodrigo (Season 51)

Olivia Rodrigo pulled double duty on the May 2, 2026 episode of Saturday Night Live — the 1,006th episode in the show's history — and Brad, Nate, and Ben are here to break down every sketch from what was arguably one of the best episodes of Season 51.From a Bug Planet zoo exhibit to a Rideshare driver who simply cannot stop being a dancehall artist, the writers leaned hard into Rodrigo's musical gift and delivered an episode packed with absurdist comedy, physical gags, and a few genuine surprises. Oh, and Aziz Ansari showed up as Kash Patel. Sure.In this episode, the guys cover:Cold Open: Ansari crashes the Hegseth press briefing as the FBI Director himselfMonologue: Real IDs, Jake Paul, and a very emotional "Drivers License" rewriteEdge of Destiny: Rodrigo as an 80s soap opera villain with a very long staircaseMidnight Matinee: My Room: A Bug Planet love story that may live foreverShop TV: Lava Cake: The recurring sketch returns. The fudge hole has returned. My Ex: Ashley Padilla and a plate of mashed potatoes walk into a birthday party...Busted: An Isley Brothers parody with some very suspicious closet residentsRasta Rideshare: Andrew Dismukes cannot escape his destiny. Episode 116 — Colman Domingo (Season 51)

Colman Domingo walked into Studio 8H like he owned the place, and honestly? He kind of did. Brad, Nate, and Ben break down the April 11, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live (the 1,005th episode in the show's history) featuring a first-time host who brought a rare blend of charm, confidence, and serious theatrical chops to the stage. The show goes sketch-by-sketch through the night, from a cold open that put Colin Jost's Pete Hegseth back on the phone with Trump (and in some very precarious territory) to a PBS host who had some genuinely jaw-dropping things to tell us about fire being his niece. We also saw a funeral full of pimps, and the 10-to-1 slot produced one of the weirdest sketches in a while with a half-frog/half-Sarah Sherman. Let us know your thoughts! Episode 115 — Jack Black (Season 51)

Jack Black is officially a Five-Timer, and the Ten to One is here to witness it. Brad, Nate, and Ben break down the April 4, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live — the 1,004th episode in the show's history — with Jack Black earning his jacket. The trio goes sketch-by-sketch through the night, from a Charles Barkley cold open that gave James Austin Johnson a night off from Trump, to a self-aware Five-Timers Club monologue that poked fun at its own exhausted premise, to a group of husbands with absolutely nothing in common who somehow knew every word to "Carry On Wayward Son."Let us know your thoughts! The Premiere of Saturday Night Live UK

Saturday Night Live has made its way across the pond, and the Ten to One is here for it. Fifty years after Lorne Michaels launched the original in Studio 8H, the very first episode of Saturday Night Live UK aired live from Television Centre in London, and Nate, Brad, and Ben share their thoughts.SNL legend Tina Fey stepped in as the inaugural host. The episode introduced us to an entirely new cast of eleven British comedians, with a few of them making quite the first impression. We break down every sketch in order, from the skincare ad that would never make it past NBC censors, to a David Attenborough dream dinner party packed with British icons, to a Hamnet parody featuring a Gen Z Shakespeare with a very distinctive earring. We also cover Weekend Update — where new anchors Ania Magliano and Paddy Young made their debut — including a visit from the only British naval officer currently deployed in Iran: Captain Birdseye. And then the whole episode ended with George Fouracres asking an extremely important question at high speed for 45 seconds. It made very little sense. It was very funny. Don't miss it.Find us at thetentoone.com and join the conversation on social media.

    Episode 113 - Harry Styles (Season 51)

Brad, Nate, and Ben are back, and this week, it's Harry's turn. The guys break down the March 14, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live, the 1,003rd episode in the show's history, with Harry Styles pulling double duty as host and musical guest for the second time in his career. The trio goes sketch-by-sketch through the night, from a gas prices cold open built around JAJ's Trump to the pre-taped MAHAspital — a Pitt parody run by RFK Jr. and the MAHA movement — to an Irish step-dancing R&B music video with real heart behind it. In this episode, we discuss:The Host: Harry Styles' full SNL history — from One Direction to double duty — and what his second time hosting says about him as a comedic performer or boring Brit. The Sketches: A full breakdown of the night, including the queerbaiting monologue kiss, MAHAspital, the Sebastian Maniscalco courtroom, Sparkle of the Sea (and the return of Jean K. Jean), Mr. Pooty, White Castle Drive-Thru, She's an Irish Dancer, and Harry For Him.Weekend Update: Jost and Che on Iran, the Oscars, and Taco Bell, plus Jeremy Culhane debuts his Tucker Carlson, and Mikey Day arrives as the aerial tramway emoji to make everyone at the desk lose it. Episode 112 - Ryan Gosling (Season 51)

Ryan Gosling is back — and so is his laugh. Brad, Nate, and Ben break down the March 7, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live, the 1,002nd episode in the show's history, and Gosling's fourth time hosting. He arrived at Studio 8H promoting Project Hail Mary (opening March 20). The guys go sketch-by-sketch through a pre-tape-heavy night, debating whether Gosling's legendary inability to keep a straight face is a feature or a bug or a flaw. In this episode, we discuss:The Host: Ryan Gosling's SNL legacy. The Sketches: A full breakdown of the night, including the Harry Styles monologue crash, Otezla (the best fake drug ad since Happy Fun Ball), the dimwitted Cyclopes of Darlor, Monty McTreats and his Dodeedees, the world's most enthusiastic glass-clinking wedding guest, and the sketch where the writers swapped out the notes before air and let Gosling and Padilla fend for themselves.Weekend Update: Jost and Che on Kristi Noem's "self-deportation" and the Iran war, plus Kenan Thompson as Pastor Update and his bandleader Teddy delivering unhinged gospel tunes. And of course — the Bradometer. The Awards: We crown our MVP of the Night and debate which sketch deserves the title of Sketch of the Night.Whether you're here for the Giggle Boy Gosling, the pre-tapes, or just to find out what the Goo-Goo Man is, we've got you covered.Follow us on X/Twitter: @TheTenToOnePod Like us on Facebook: /thetentoone Subscribe on YouTube: @TheTenToOnePodcast Visit our website at thetentoone.comPlease rate, review, and subscribe to the Ten to One Podcast and join the conversation on Facebook, X, and YouTube.

SNL is back! After nearly a month away for the Winter Olympics, Brad, Nate, and Ben reunite to break down the February 28, 2026, episode of Saturday Night Live — the 1,001st episode in the show's history — hosted by Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie, with musical guest Mumford & Sons.Storrie arrived at Studio 8H fresh off one of the most buzzed-about TV performances in recent memory, playing closeted Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov on the HBO Max/Crave hit Heated Rivalry. The timing couldn't have been better: both the U.S. men's and women's hockey teams had just won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics, and the show pulled in Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, Hilary Knight, and Megan Keller for a monologue that had the crowd losing their minds. Oh, and Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams showed up for a surprise appearance mid-episode, with... too much screaming?! You decide. The guys go sketch-by-sketch through the night, rating everything from a topical Iran War cold open to a very injured stripper, and debate whether Storrie is one of the best first-time hosts in recent memory. SNL Film Review: The Ladies Man

This week on the Ten to One Podcast, Nate, Ben, and Brad channel their inner Leon Phelps and uncork a bottle of Courvoisier for a full recap and review of the 2000 SNL movie The Ladies Man. Join us as we debate what worked, what fizzled, and why some SNL characters are best left behind the radio mic.Whether you love the original sketches, are a die-hard Tim Meadows fan, or just want to hear three friends grapple with ‘90s sex comedy, this episode is for you.
