 On this podcast, I’m joined by Jon Paul Murphy. Jon Paul is a good friend of mine and a Pastor at the Word of Faith Ministries in Kenansville, NC. Jon Paul tells us his testimony from a young age and how God has brought him to where he is today. Word of Faith Ministries was started by his grandparents with a food bank and then developed into a church that is growing strong. Habakkuk 3:17-19 is a hymn of faith. Through out the Bible you’ll see plenty of examples of strong faith. Today I feel like we give up to easy and quite. Is your faith strong? 

The what ifs and if onlys will never satisfy us. The ultimate satisfaction is accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!! We must look vertically for satisfaction and not horizontally. God Bless

In episode I read from Mathew 18 and discuss how we must show mercy to others and how forgiveness is unlimited according to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.. 

Do you only call on God when you need help with something? You know, just like when you call customer service because you have an issue with a product. We have to call on God every day, all day! Giving thanks and praise for what he does in our lives! 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 tells us; 16 rejoice always 17 “pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”‭‭

Today I read from Mathew 12: 30,32,34-37. Jesus tells us that you are either with him or against him. There is no neutral ground when it comes to following Jesus. Jesus also tells us that what we speak from the mouth flows from the heart. 

Don't look back on the old year or the old you. Put your faith in Jesus and focus on the now. Look forward to improving and learning more about our Savior Jesus.

On this episode I read from Luke 2: 1-12 and John 10; 1-12. The birth of Jesus Christ and in John how he is the good shepherd, willing to lay down his life for ours. I hope on this glorious holiday that you do not forget the reason for the season and celebrate the birth of the good Lord Jesus Christ. 

Psalm 51 reminds me that we have a forgiving God. And when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we will be forgiven of our sins. Repent today and accept Jesus as your Savior before it’s too late. 

In this episode I read from Psalm 63.  God has our back no matter the circumstances. We just need to put 100% faith in Him and not ourselves. 

In this episode I read from James 5:13-18 and Colossians 3:17. I wake up every morning being grateful to the good Lord Jesus Christ saved my life and has forgiven me of my sins.  

Our hearts are full of sin. We first sin in the inside before our behavior shows it. Jesus Christ forgives us of those sins. In the first chapter of Daniel, Daniel finds himself in Babylon under king Nebuchadnezzar, which renamed Daniel and his friends. Tried to force them to worship him and his gods. Tried to force them to eat his foods. David stayed true to his life determination to die what was right before God.. We must all die what’s right in front of God no matter the circumstance. Be like Daniel!! 

On episode 9 of The Testaments of Faith Podcast, Mr. Ken Roberts gives his testimony on how the good Lord Jesus Christ saved his life from destruction. Ken is a U.S. Navy Veteran and a father of two beautiful young ladies. He has dedicated his life to our Lord and Savior and continues to spread the good news through his testimony.  I  for reason have an issue with anger. I have no reason to. The good Lord Jesus saved my life last year and I should be happy all the time. But being a Christian is a constant battle to do the right thing. I have found if I “wake up on the wrong side of the bed”  feeling like I need to be left alone, I start praying for the good Lord to help me out and then go spend time in the god book reading. Anger is very controllable when you pray and use the Bible!! God Bless!!

In this short episode, I read the parables of Jesus in Luke 18:1-14.  The parable of the  persistent widow and the parable of the two men that prayed. Be sure to humble yourself in prayer. If you think you have it in control without the Lord’s help, then you are mistaken!! God over everything!!

She is also an author of a book titled Destiny's Children, From the preface: "No one understands poverty without experiencing it. Although it is many bad things, it is not the worst way to be. Hopeless is so much worse. And that, -we never were. We were financially poor, physically well, and spiritually rich. Lessons we learned, morals we adapted, principles we valued, along with the love we shared, are priceless. God gave us an angel mother who loved and trusted Him and was faithful to Him. Therefore, she provided the tenet we would need throughout life."
