The Tiger’s View: Updates from Warrensburg Schools

Mrs. Fleeman and Mrs. Shaffer (the principals of Maple Grove and Ridge View Elementaries) join Dr. Ritter to talk about elementary principal leadership, what happens in a typical day, the role of the principal, and some of the fun stories with students.

Liz Tarr, Director of Food Service, joins Dr. Ritter and discusses how families can get free meals for their students throughout most of the summer. Locations and times of these opportunities are shared. Also learn about the importance of the free and reduced lunch application and how it impacts more than just food service opportunities.

Dr. Ritter is joined by Mayor Bruce Uhler, City Manager Mike Schrage, Main Street Director Jamie DeBacker, and Chamber of Commerce Director Suzanne Taylor to discuss what makes the Warrensburg community so special and a great place to raise a family. Hear about some of the favorite traditions as well as what brought each of us to Warrensburg, kept us here, or brought us back home to Warrensburg. This episode would be great for families considering moving to Warrensburg!
