This is the second instalment of The Lie Of Communism.Chapter 2 picks up from where we left off in Chapter 1, The Aftermath of the Bloody Sunday Massacre. Russia was forever changed. The people’s faith and trust in The Tsar had been shattered. Meanwhile, Lenin and the Bolsheviks were gaining more and more support by the day, as The Tsar was doubling down on his control over the people. Revolution was in the air!However, internal tensions were brewing within the Bolshevik Party. Lenin went on the offensive, calling for mass terror and continent-wide conflict. Turning the failure of the 1905 Revolution into an advantage, he used it in his crusade against Tsar Nicholas. In the Wake of the BSM, the Tsar was forced to issue a series of reforms known as the October Manifesto. The Manifesto promised change to his people who were desperate for their Tsar to acknowledge their pleas for fairness and change.Russia was plunged back into chaos as the Tsar tightened his grip on power, refusing to accept the Manifesto controlling the parliament through the Duma. Lenin returned to St. Petersburg, seeing his opportunity to strike at the Tsar. He spread his message through another newspaper, Vperyod (forward), which brought new members and increased revenue to the Bolshevik Party. The party was growing rapidly, and more funding was needed despite Lenin’s views on capitalism.A young Joesph Stalin proved himself to the party, coming up with a plan to acquire more funding with Lenin’s blessing in a less than legal way. But Lenin’s decision to sanction crime divided the Bolsheviks and ultimately forced Lenin into exile once more. At the same time, the death of his mother sent him into a cycle of depression. Lenin’s world had collapsed and his future within the party and his dream of a proletariat revolution were in doubt. That was until his guardian angel, Inessa Armand, rescued him from despair, pulling him up from the dark abyss and back into the light. Armand was responsible for Lenin’s resurrection and the reshaping of the man that would one day lead the revolution. For decades, the Soviets covered up her role and importance in his story, but it was through her that Lenin 2.0 was born. From this point, he fundamentally changed his interruption of Marxism, redefining his philosophy. This is a very special episode of The Truth Tank.After 3 long years The Lie has Begun! The first chapter of The Lie of Communism has finally arrived. Chapter 1 will transport us back to the early 1900s during a very dark and turbulent time in Russia, when the old Imperial Government ignored and pushed around the very people it was meant to serve.Revolution was in the air. The roads of destiny were about to converge. An angry and disillusioned young man by the name of Vladimir Lenin finds himself at a crossroads, after a series of personal tragedies that begin to shape his future and push him towards what would ultimately turn out to be his destiny. Lenin starts a crusade against Czar Nicholas II and the Czarist Government; From humble beginnings participating in low level demonstrations against the government, to being a political theorist in the RSDLP (Russian Social Democratic Labour Party), to running a leftist newspaper "Iskra", and then eventually forming the Bolshevik Party after splitting with his old Comrade Julius Martov during the 1903 Second Party RSDLP Conference. The seeds of revolution had been sown, however there was one major event in 1905 putting events in motion that could not be undone. Much like the first film, Gladiator II blends practical sets and effects with the latest visual effects.  Gladiator II is big and bold, boosting a pretty epic cast to match including Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Jospeh Quinn and Fred Hechinger. It’s a film full of ridiculousness, Rhinos and more sub plots than you can poke a Gladius at. Ridley has upped the action in a big way this time around, Lucius played by Mescal is forced to fight as a Gladiator after his home is attacked by The Romans leading him on path to his past and ultimately his destiny. Digital ID is meant to protect users from oversharing personal information to potential employers, pubs, businesses, proving your ID, getting a passport or filling out a form. The system is being proposed on the grounds it will make it convenient and easy for users; to prove they are who they say they are, cut down on paperwork and the need to find and bring those pesky paper ID documents when they try to get a phone, passport or insurance etc. However, there are some glaringly obvious flaws with the system such as uploading personal information onto a government website/app, won’t that make it much easier to lose personal info to hacking and data breaches? How are we protected from fraud if all our IDs are online? The government promises the system will be safe, but nothing is 100% safe online. Given the Australian government track record in the past 20 years implementing new schemes and systems the public has a right to be sceptical and concerned about yet another online system coming online that is flawed and untested. Robo Debt, The NBN (National Broadband Network) and My Health Record are just a few examples of the governments greatest hits regarding new and flawed technological systems. In the last few years data breaches and hacks have plagued government and business services, systems and sites alike which have exposed the lackadaisical and complacent nature of their online security. The Optus and Medicare data breaches are a painful and realistic reminder about how behind these sectors have been regarding online security. There are some positives, such as organisations being limited with the amount of personal information they have access to. Another plus is business, and establishments won’t be able to keep customers personal info, however how safe is a system that requires so much personal information in the first place? The bill is an amendment to the Canadian Criminal Code and the Human Rights act. Why is it being proposed? and What does it mean? It has been described as a Bill to silence freedom of speech and expression in Canada. C-63 intention is to combat hate speech and crimes online by redefining what those definitions are. The bill would also see new enforcements by the Federal court, as well as fines and even life imprisonment for individuals found guilty of hate speech. C-63 would also implement age restrictions on social media which has been suggested in multiple countries around the world in recent months. It also will encourage people to speak up against others for alleged online crimes for cash rewards, prosecution for future crimes (as well as current) and the implementation of Kangaroo courts, What could possibly go wrong?  Is this the government overstepping their bounds?
