Carter…well Carter is still acting out but he will need to grow up real fast once Oriana tells him the “good news”. However, that news is going to have to wait since Carter’s taking anunplanned road trip. On that note, Adios Rob Will, not sure anyone saw this coming, especially so soon in the series (the show has been renewed for a 2nd season) but how will Beulah deal with this and Joaquin. While I love the Pixies, I feel this track is too somber for such and extremely dark show. So, I would have used the opening minute of Messiah by Fear Factory. This track nails the energy, frustration and internal RAGE that the people of Fromville are feeling. The constant screaming for MESSIAH can reflect Boyd’s anger with God as he’s always screaming out for answers to why this is happening to them and living this nightmare. UPDATE - 06/24/26 - Paramount confirmed Dutton Ranch has been renewed for a 2nd season.BEULAH LIVES! I am well aware it’s Annette Benning playingBeulah but we did see Kurt Russell in the Madison have an early exit on that show (avoiding spoilers). With that said the 10 Petal now has a complicated workplace environment. Its official, Irina is a super spy. From facial description matching to lock picking. There is something the show is not telling us about her and we love it. Valya’s escape plan to Venus didn’t last long as the Colonel not only knows where he is but also has no problem making this a one-way trip for him. Meanwhile it appears Sasha has developed serious feelings for Belikova right before informing her he’s leaving for 9 months. THIS IS IT PEOPLE!!! The episode we been looking forward toAND dreading since it’s the season 1 finale. BUT thank the TV overlords at Apple for giving Widow’s Bay a renewal for a 2nd season. This episode answered some MAJOR questions such has who is REALLY the last descendent of Richard Warren while also throwing us some Suprises NO ONE saw coming. We are now one episode away from the season finale and just received a HUGE reveal which COULD explain why everyone is still cursed. The moment of truth has arrived; Boyd and Jade are going toopen this hidden door in the basement of colony house and the path to freedom will be revealed…right? Wait, Jade now as second thoughts about opening the door? OH, so now the plan to open the door has been abandoned? WTH! This was a frustrating episode to watch. For the past 2 episodes it’s been about the mushroom trip, the visions of the tunnel and finding the kid bones, Hell even father Khatri came to Boyd in a vision telling him to listen to Jade and open the door. Instead, the focus now is try and kill the creatures with the item Tabitha used on the big zombie doll at the settlement. Say what you want about Rip but the man is a go getter. Idon’t think anyone saw him not only head over to 10 Pedal for a job but also get it? Beth says whatever you can do I can do better by getting herself a job IN THE SAME DAY! And Carter is a magnet for being at the wrong place wrong time which leads to a tragic end to Dwight. This episode kept the story moving with no drag. We see how they are dealing with their current issues AND what new ones they will be facing going forward. WHOA! Blink and you’ll miss something important. We are onlyin episode 3 and we have Sasha already heading to the moon, Chief designer finding his Venus probe and Irina awkward hangout with Tanya. Let’s start off with the obvious, THIS SHOW IS AMAZING! Everyepisode is different from the last BUT YET keeps the main story front and center. This episode when all in on the slasher vibes with the Boogieman paying Trish (Kate O’Flynn) a house visit which produces one hell of a chase / stalker scene.  DONNA!!!...DONNA GET UP! This is no time to play dead; Jadejust found a creepy death tunnel that might get us home. Man, Boyd went next level crazy on half dead Donna but I guess it worked. Jade’s mushroom trip also appears to have paid off, kind of, in that we find the tunnel but is this really the key to leaving Fromville? Henry spent way too much time boozing itup with Sophia who slipped a little something extra in his drink, so now what? So now what? This was an emotional episode with Rip, Bethand ranch hands having to deal with the infected cattle. Beulah is also dealing with some emotional issues as it appears she wants out of this life but can’t escape it for some reason. Carter gets a job working for a rancher named Dwight that has more than just cattle on this land. We are only on episode 4 and already Rip & Beth are in an extremely dire situation. Welcome back Mr. Warren! I’m pretty sure we all suspectedWyck was digging up Warren but not sure everyone thought he would still be ALIVE! Warren shares his dark tale with Tom and adds more questions about the island. However, Warren thinks he knows how to lift the curse. FYI - Since this week they dropped 2 episodes we'll have our coverage for episode 7 up later tonight to space them out. Now this episode was PURE HORROR! We are taken back to 1702 and follow a woman named Sarah who is coming from the main land to marry Widow’s Bay founder Richard Warren. She knows pretty much nothing about him or the community which is dealing with a horrific plague. The episode score along withthe cinematography nails the tone that is accompanied by the characters story telling. This was another FANTASTIC episode that kind of answers a question regarding the dark history of the Island while also adding a few more like who is Wyck digging up and why? This season finale answered some lingering questions. Suchas did Belle take some of the money she found in the truck to pay off her gambling debt? Is Kayce really going to sell East Camp? And does Maddie ever get a day off from the bullet so she can go on a real date with Miles? Well, that last one doesn’t get answered but I’m pretty sure we all know the answer is no. Ther was a good amount of gun play and a badass hand to hand combat scene that involved an unexpected character. However, it’s the closing minutes of the episode that will really have fans of the show talking, not just about the surprise attack on Belle and Cal but the future of Tate. It’s a new day at the Dutton Ranch but with old bad habits. Aftertaking Wes to the mineshaft the night before Rip chooses not to tell Beth about any of it. And maybe its for the best since Beth has “meetings” in Dallas in which she is the only one aware of. After Bryce’s passing and the island people waking up from atrance in the ocean Tom thinks its time for a curfew. However, after paying a visit to the islands “Shaman” Tom’s third eye is finally open which produces one of the best under the influence adventure’s I’ve ever seen. This episode addressed all the loose ends and “possible”side stories we assumed would materialize. We find out Miles and Sabrina will never be a thing, and its not because of Maddie. Andrea likes to drop her little comments about wanting to go back to D.C but now that Double G is gone, will she? I called it when I saw it, Belle has a gambling problem and is in serious debt with the casino but she clearly has luck away from the tables when she captures a fugitive with a million bucks in the truck. Well, there’s no doubt Jade when on a long strange trip, butdid he really discover how to leave Fromville? Henry is back to boozing which is understandable after finding out his wife was eaten by the man in the yellow suit. Now Victor needs to be the one offering support and Donna makes a great guess that what they pulled out of the lake really should stay in the lake. While it’s great to see Carter find a love interest (Oreana)it’s a bit problematic that she has a boyfriend and is Beulah Jackson’s granddaughter. Beth’s new veterinarian friend – Everett (Ed Harris) can not only heal animals but also recommend a great slaughter house with fair pricing. And Rip finds his new train station. The wait is finally over, well at least for many this is theONE Yellowstone spin-off they have been waiting for. Rip, Beth and Carter embark on a new life adventure in the great state of Texas. We have a new location, new story and most notable a new rival ranch to deal with run by Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening). WOW! This episode told us the backstory behind Trish’ssunset cocktail party and it was a doozy. Trish starts “reading” a mysterious book that motivates her to throw a party and serve one hell of a punch mix that will undoubtably make this party part of Widow’s Island lore. The storytelling was frantic and kept us wondering what was going to happen next from scene toscene. We also get our first death on the show which was unexpected. WHOA! Let’s pour one out for Double G. We all had thoughtson what could be next for the character BUT THIS was not one of them. This episode also gave us Closure on the Roner story as we discover what really happened on Bravo team’s final mission. The people of fromville have hit a breaking point and arewilling to go anywhere and try anything to get some answers which is great! Jade takes the magic mushrooms in hopes the hallucinations will unlock the path to freedom. Julie uses the ruins to go back into the past in hopes of saving Jim but encounters someone else and Ethan finds the lake of tears which appears to contain a disturbing surprise. Things are getting pretty creepy in Widow’s Bay and Tomis starting to see AND feel it first hand, but is he still a skeptic? Tourism is picking up thanks to the positive NY Times review and an interesting visitor named Marissa shows an aggressive interest in mayor Tom that instantly raises our alarm bells. Meanwhile, Reverend Bryce is running around the woods at night acting crazy and it’s starting to look like Wyck might be the only person who knows how to deal with all the strange activity happening in Widow’s Bay. This episode was FULL of twists and surprises NO ONE sawcoming. While everyone in the comments were wondering about Kayce and Andrea, this question gets answered in the opening minutes of the episode. Dolly is also back in the picture to bake a cake? And Andrea is not the only one with a surpriseas we get to meet Belle’s mom. This was an entertaining episode that ended with a Yellowstone connection that could impact the future of the series. “Sophia” starts some drama at the diner by telling Julie her family is to blame for all the horrible things happening and also decides she wants to live with SARAH! Tabitha clearly hasn’t learned from her mistakes in season 3 so decides to leave her kids AGAIN but this time she left a note for Donna to watch over them. Ethan fills in Victor and Jade on his search for the river of tears which sends them on an adventure. There is never a dull moment on this show which leads to a lot to unpack. And here we go! Kong vs Titan X, only one can survive…well not really but they do have one hell of a brawl. This season finale didn’t conclude all the storylines and left a few of the main ones open for a possible season 3 (which has yet to be confirmed). Tom Loftis (Mathew Rhys) is the new Mayor of Widow’s Bay which is an island off the coast of New England and according thelocals EXTREMLY HAUNTED! Well, we got to see Godzilla, Kong, and Titan X, but NO FIGHT! After the last episode showed a quick interaction between Godzilla and Titan X we all were expectING a BIG BRAWL to take place on skull Island with Kong. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Instead, we find out Billy never gave up searching for Keiko, Isabel’s real goal which is to kill Kong and why Kintaro is working with Isabel. I understand wanting to tell an emotional story with Billy and Keiko but at this point I don’t think the audience cares and just want to see a massive monster fight which WE HOPE happens in next week’s season finale. When a former teams member named Double G shows up at Kayce’s ranch with just a bag and guitar Cal’s internal alarms sound off. On that note, Cal received some bad news from the doctor and sounds like he has more issues beside the shoulder. Meanwhile Belle receives an anonymous tip that a high-profilebank robber is in Montana and planning to do a big robbery…or is he? FROM IS BACK PEOPLE And life still sucks in fromville. In traditional form the show does a great job throwing more questions at us such as what’s the end game for the man in yellow aka Sophia? Is it just to torment the people from the inside? And how is he able to shapeshift AND walk around during the day? Julie (we think) has a doppelganger and I REFUSE to accept Jim is dead. IT’S GODZILLA!!! Shaw’s plan is in full swing as his device lores Godzilla to do battle with Titan X. unfortunately, Cate and Keiko also show up to try a less combative approach. Well, I think it’s safe to say Belle is the most interestingmember of this team. The main story for this episode revolves around an assassination attempt on a federal Judge and her shady husband. HOWEVER! It’s what Cal witnessed in the beginning of the episode which really delivered the suspense. Dolly Weaver stops by the ranch on her horse to put the moves on Kayce but thanks to her father Tom things go south instantly. This was by far the most interesting episode of the season with Shaw having deep conversations with is younger self. The goal is to keep “primary Shaw” focused on creating a tracker to stick on Godzilla, however once he see’s Keiko’s camp he quickly has other plans. Speaking of Keiko, she, and Cate head to a creepy village to go down a creepy well to follow a creepy sound. What could go wrong? After coming up empty with the RV Andrea and Belle do some more investigative work that leads to a shady mechanic and the Iron Sentinel biker gang. Belle goes undercover at an Iron Sentinel rally to find Brimstone who is providing the events “entertainment” and things go south quick. This episode introduced us to a new enemy of the Marshals, has us wondering what’s really going on with Belle’s gambling and giving us closure with Monica. And just when you thought the mission was over with the passing of Hiroshi, in comes Suzuki with his own Titan Phone. May shows up at Kentaro’s home in Japan to comfort him but not in the way he had hoped and we now know Shaw’s plan is to setup a fight between Godzilla and Titan X. And now its time for Tate to shine. While in Wyoming withKayce to sell the wild mustang that almost killed him Tate sees a classmate from the reservation named Haley who says she’s on a “road trip” with her boyfriend. Tate relays the encounter with Kayce who isn’t buying it. After sharing the info with the team, especially Miles, the team decide to work this case withoutthe initial approval of Cal who already has their next assignment. SURPRISE! We just couldn’t move on from The Madison without giving our two cents about episodes 4 – 6. Lawerence loved the season, me, not so much. Well, this was definetly a turning point episode for the season. Apex along with the Shaw crew now know Cate has a mental connection with Titan X, but why?
