    One of the wildest things that has happened through this podcast is the people I have got to meet. A few years ago I got a Instagram message from Paul Schommer I later found out after talking to him that he was a member of the USA Olympic Team. Now, I am thankful to call him a friend!  He has literally been back in the states from his second trip to the Olympics this winter. His second stop after being back from Italy was here in North Dakota for spring turkey season. We spend some time recapping his hunts this week. Spoiler alert.....he tagged out!     Man! Chukar hunting in Nevada is a WILD adventure! Sure, the bird numbers arent what they were last year but they are still pretty good! On this weeks episode I am joined by two of my most adventurous hunting buddies, Dom Watts and Brent Kroll. Dom is a New Mexico native that lives in Alaska. He is a sheep hunting and bird hunting addict and is always down for an adventure in a new place.  Brent is a NAVHDA judge and hard core wild bird hunter. He spends most of his year in the forests of Michigan chasing ruffed grouse, but really wanted to get out of the woods and do some climbing for his first wild chukar hunt. We discuss our hunts while in Nevada. Huns, Valley Quail, and Chukar. We also talk about sheep hunting, back country ATV riding, and even archery hunting for Musk Ox in Alaska.     Public Lands VICTORY!

    About 7pm last night they removed the Public Land sale from the reconsiliation bill! This is a big win for those of us that enjoy hunting on this land. A HUGE thanks goes out to everyone that did their part in this fight. OnX Hunt deserves a huge thanks for putting their post out yesterday where they discovered it wasnt 500,000 acres set to be sold, but 1.5 million acres.

    ATTENTION! Public Land Owners with Randy Newberg

    Randy Newberg is a life long Hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He also has a long history of being one of the most outsporken public land advocates that we have.     Pitchin' Jigs with Roger Schumann

    Roger is one of the best fisherman I know! Hes the Owner of Schumann Fishing Guide Service based out of Minot North Dakota. When he called me and asked if I wanted to jump in the boat with him to go pitch jigs and place with his forward facing sonar I jumoed at the chance. Sadly, the fish werent as cooperative as they were the previous day. Fun was had anyway! The walleyes werent active but we caught enough Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass tp keep us entertained.

Thats why I was thrilled to sit down and talk some of it through with Patrick.
