The Wild Return
by SARAH SCHOTT
Welcome to The Wild Return, a podcast where we explore womanhood as power, motherhood as alchemy, and the journey of remembering who we really are and coming home to our true nature. In this space, women gather to tune in and reconnect with how our womb and body, motherhood journey, and Nature, are all gateways to our soul, healing, wholeness and power, so that we can create and lead fulfilling, aligned lives, be the mom our kids need, and do our own unique part to create planetary change and collective healing.Hosted by Sarah Schott, whose own winding path back to herself involved leaving behind a career in medicine for the health and fitness world before becoming a mother and experiencing her own personal reckoning. She spent much of her life in fear of her body after losing her grandmother to ovarian cancer, being on the Pill for over a decade, and experiencing an eating disorder. 004 - Awakening to Spring: Reflections and Practices for the Equinox
In this episode, we talk about the Spring Equinox (Ostara) and celebrating the Celtic Wheel of the Year, especially as a mother creating family traditions. The Equinox marks a threshold of balance (equal day and night), as well as the astrological new year. I see early spring as a slow unfolding, rather than a time to rush, encouraging the integration of winter lessons, releasing what no longer fits, listening to the body’s needs, and trusting in nature’s timing. I offer ideas for simple rituals to honor this sacred celebration, including witnessing the sunrise/sunset, spring cleaning for the home and cleansing baths/scrubs for the body, nature walks and seasonal watching, egg decorating, a gratitude practice, creating beauty, and a seed-planting ritual, plus journaling prompts on balance, joy, awakening, seeds, and growth.🖤 Connect with me on Instagram @sarah.schott & @thewildreturnpodcast🖤 Download your free Everyday Rituals guide to transform your daily life and bring the sacred into the everyday moments and alchemize your routines into acts of devotion to your one wild beautiful life. 🖤Visit my website to explore the ways we might work together PS -- about this gorgeous music: it's the song: “What My Heart is Looking For” by Bonner Black from Soundstripe.com

003 - The Spirals of Life: Embracing Discomfort and Growth
In this episode I share about what’s been coming for me in my own journey over the past weeks. We’ll explore growth as a cyclical “spiral” rather than linear progress, reframing recurring challenges and “darker” phases as portals for transformation instead of problems to fix. I discuss the cultural tendencies to medicate, pathologize, and monetize women’s rites of passage and why these thresholds matter for personal and collective change. 🖤 Connect with me on Instagram @sarah.schott & @thewildreturnpodcast 🖤 Download your free Everyday Rituals guide to transform your daily life and bring the sacred into the everyday moments and alchemize your routines into acts of devotion to your one wild beautiful life. 🖤Visit my website to explore the ways we might work together PS -- about this gorgeous music: it's the song: “What My Heart is Looking For” by Bonner Black from Soundstripe.com

002 - Late Winter Wisdom + Spring Equinox Circle Announcement
In this episode, we reflect on living in connection with seasonal rhythms as a framework for personal growth, noting how modern life can disconnect humans from nature and contribute to burnout, hormonal chaos, emotional overwhelm, and feeling untethered. Sarah also discusses women’s layered seasonality—yearly seasons, menstrual and lunar rhythms, and life phases (maiden, mother, maga, crone). The episode focuses on late winter and Imbolc as a transition marked by rest, introspection, the fertile void, and quiet creative potential, with “start/stop” energy that invites nourishment and capacity-building before spring. She shares practical ways to align with this season—mindful rest, following curiosity and creativity, deep nourishment, spring cleaning/decluttering, and time in nature—plus journal prompts about aliveness, devotion, support, readiness for action, and what needs releasing. Sarah announces a virtual Spring Equinox circle, “From the Wellspring,” on Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 PM Eastern, which will be interwoven with ritual, including a release practice, a guided journey into one’s inner wellspring, and creating a nature mandala.🖤 Sign up for "From the Wellspring" here!
