There's basically no news, but we still have stuff to talk about because Bob played a video game. Matt's obsessing over Zelda II and Bob wants the world to know about Dead Cells.

It's the summer of Frosé, and we're big fans. Once we finish discussing frozen beverages, it's time for a loopy news hour and a light discussion of Fortnite on mobile before Matt tells Bob why he's wrong about Hollow Knight.

We come in like a wrecking ball to deliver affirmations and talk about the news of the week. Despite a remarkably lengthy news hour, we still find time to discuss All Our Asias, Dark Souls and God of War.

It's an Extremely Exciting Episode, because we're talking about E3. We journeyed to sunny Los Angeles and braved extreme heat so you could learn everything a human could possibly want to know about the games that (almost all) got pushed to 2019.

We've been away too long, but we shake off the dust and dive in to a bucket of pre-E3 news. Despite having a month to do stuff, we haven't played much, but we still manage to opine on Cinco Paus, Doom, Alto's Odyssey, and Reigns: Her Majesty.

It's a big week for news about Japanese games from the early 2000s. That gives us something to talk about that isn't God of War, but we still find plenty of time to talk about God of War. It's still really good.

There's a whole bunch of news, but it kind of doesn't matter because God of War is real, and it's spectacular.

After creating thirty episodes of this show, we decide we're into making things. While Bob hasn't had time to play anything, Matt's burrowed deep into the wilds of Far Cry 5. It's another one of those, and this is another one of these.

After two weeks of hunting monsters, the boys reconvene to discuss the ups and downs of Monster Hunter: World. Bob likes it a lot. Matt likes it a little. They both continue to be baffled by Fortnite.

We haven't played much but we've got heart and some excellent beverage recommendations. We still manage to talk about Alto's Odyssey, Super Monkey Ball, Metal Gear Survive, Celeste, and Turok on the Nintendo 64.

We begin in a state of shock and never recover in this sugary-sweet episode. Matt and Bob have developed a taste for the eighties rock, and managed to play Metal Gear Survive, Remnants of Naezith, Cinco Paus, and Mount Your Friends 3D.

We're feeling punchy on an episode that brings it all back home. Tune in for breaks, the return of the PUBG minute, the dramatic reappearance of Hollow Knight, and further conversations about the ancient Chinese game of Go.

We talk about video games, robots, AI, and laundry detergent in this episode. Matt intelligently condenses his feelings regarding Nier: Automata and XCOM 2 while Bob struggles mightily to make a single coherent point about the ancient Chinese game of Go.
