Hello Guys, it's been a minute but we are coming back strong for a close to the season and the start of the World Cup. In this episode, Sophie, Jordan and Dan discuss the relegation dogfight. Have Spurs left it too late, is the years of mismanagement caught up to them or can they drag themselves out and send West Ham down instead. The guys also discuss whether Arsenal will bottle the league once more, with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City trying to reign them in and take their first premier league title away from them in 22 years. The final part of the episode is the discussion surrounding the Champions League, and our prediction of who will lift Europe's highest honour.

What is the biggest derby in England some may say the North London Derby some may say Birmingham versus Aston Villa however the majority would mention the Wear-Tyne Derby. Sunderland AFC Versus Newcastle United brings two titans of the North East of England together where blood, sweat and tears are produced for 90 minutes. From Kevin Nolan's Chicken celebration after Newcastle's 5-1 victory in 2010 to Sunderland's 6 wins in a row which included Jermain Defoe's wonder volley. This means more than 3 points it means War. Legacies made, Heroes formed and Moments that will go down in folklore/ Who will come out on top.....2pm on Sunday 14th December will determine it.

Episode 2 saw Jordan and Everton fan Micah Anderson discuss their thoughts on the season so far. Will Arsenal bottle the league again or cross the finish line out on top, how are Sunderland flying high and disrupting the status quo and can Nottingham Forest's stop the rot under Evangelos Marinakis and Sean Dyche. In Episode 22, Jordan and Sophie welcomed first time guest Ruairidh to discuss the semi finals of the champions league and whether his team Arsenal would make it to the final. They also gave their thoughts and opinions on who would win it. ****Disclaimer**** We understand this is really out of date and do apologise for the lack of content recently however due to different circumstances we have found editing and recording quite difficult and time consuming, hopefully with the new season here we will be bringing more content out more regular.

In episode 21 the gang welcome back the other ex co-host of the podcast and big time Liverpool fan Ronan Cairns. In this episode the guys discuss Liverpool's first year under Arne Slot to whether it has been a success or not? They discuss the league campaign where Liverpool are about to lift another Premier League title however also discuss the elimination in the Champions League from PSG and the Carabao Cup Final where Newcastle were able to defeat them to lift their first trophy in over 70 years.  Tune in to find out all of our opinions and make sure to comment whether you think Slot is the man long term to take Liverpool forward.

Due to Dan and Sophie being unable to make this episode Jordan welcomed back his original co-host Theo Kyriacou to discuss what transfers each premier league club need. This was recorded back in January during the winter transfer window so we do apologise if this is slightly outdated however thought you rapscallions would nonetheless appreciate hearing our suggestions as most could still be valid for next season. In this episode the gang welcome their youngest guest Jacob McGarvey to the podcast to discuss their favourite kits growing up and some top tier classic ones. Tune in to find out what Retro 90s kits made the list and some more modern ones. At the end of the episode they also discuss their list of shameful kits. What ones do you agree with shouldn't even be donated to charity for how bad they are.

For Episode 18 Jordan and Dan discuss Manchester City's most underwhelming season since Pep Guardiola stepped into the dugout. You could say that if Guardiola had hair he'd be losing it right now. In the episode we go through the current playing squad discussing who we would Keep, Loan, Sell and Get Rid of and chat about some of the players we would bring in as ideal replacements. In Episode 17 - Jordan & Sophie welcome Manchester United fan and friend of the podcast Drew Smith to chat about the dark cloud that currently is over Old Trafford. From FA Cup Triumph to being sacked 6 months later Erik Ten Hag has gone from jubilation to now looking like he had no clue what he's doing. Where has it gone so wrong and what does Rúben Amorim need to do to steer this once great club back on track.   Tune in to find out all of our thoughts and opinions on The Red Devils.

In this episode Jordan and Dan discuss the new format for the Champions League and whether they think it is an improvement on the old format or whether it is causing a congestion of games for players and just lining the pockets of FIFA & UEFA.  They discuss all the British Clubs and what their chances are of progressing to through the competition and some of the top performing teams in Europe.

In episode 15, Sophie and Jordan have a chinwag about their favourite transfers that happened during the summer window and why they feel they'll make a difference to their new clubs. From Premier League stalwarts to new challenges for some of the brightest talent around Europe. They also go on to discuss their predictions for Gameweek 4 of the Premier League and discuss the Battle for the Boasting rights of North London. Arteta's Gunners vs the Ange's Lilywhites was all the media talked about last week, find out what our predictions were and whether we thought Arsenal specifically would cope without their main talisman in Martin Ødegaard and their stalwart Declan Rice.  

The Premier League is back and guess what we are back also. Your usual trio looked at the opening day fixtures and went through our thoughts on all the clubs and what their main talking points are, from Ivan Toney moving to Saudi to Chelsea's overinflated squad. Well this is a bit of a late bloomer. Yeah.... we do apologise to all listeners that recently our upload schedule has gone down like a lead balloon. However we wanted to upload this episode and for you to see who was the best in predicting the tournament. We will be posting more regular content with the upcoming season so make sure to tune in.

In Episode 11 the guys gather their thoughts and give their take on the conclusion of the Premier League for Season 2023/2024. They discuss some of the stand out moments to the some of the most shocking score lines. From Alejandro Garnacho's Puskas Goal against Everton to Newcastle banging 13 goals past Sheffield United this season. We look back at it all. 

In Episode 10, Jordan and Sophie welcome the first guest of the new era of the podcast. Connor Ireland joined them to help choose a Premier League Team of The Season.  Tune in to find out who made the cut and who didn't!

In episode 9 the gang discuss the Quarter Final stages of the Champions League and who they think would progress to the Semi Finals and eventually the Final. Let us know your opinions of our predictions.

Episode 8 of Season 2.0 looks at the Carabao Cup Final where the blue billion pound bottlejobs were defeated by Klopps's Kids. In the episode we discuss what happens to Chelsea moving forward and more so is Mauricio Pochettino the man in the dugout before next season kicks off and is this the new evolution of Liverpool's future side after Klopp moves on in the summer and will key players like Mohamed Salah still be a key part of the Reds future. We also take a look at the possible introduction of the blue card system and will this benefit football or is the game as we know it being Americanised. In episode 7 Jordan and Daniel have to determine where 40 managers end up on their tier list. We look at some of the very best coaches to some who you would not want to see set foot on the touchline. In episode 6 Jordan and Sophie go head to head in coming up with 1 player they feel that would best fit into each Premier League Squad for the rest of the 2023-24 season and beyond. But they have to convince Judge and Juror Daniel Clark as he decides who made the best argument. In this episode the whole gang give our take on the Boxing Day Fixtures and where it went wrong for some like Chelsea and Burnley but right for others like Liverpool. We dive into some transfers where some need to strengthen like Arsenal's striker woes to Newcastle's weak depth. We also laugh at the idiot of the month Joey Barton. In episode 3 Daniel has set the challenge for us to pick our favourite XI consisting some of our favourite players throughout our lifetime and some legendary icons. The challenge was not to just build a team filled with players that had played for our favourite clubs but criteria was set to make this a little more difficult.   This included: A Maximum of 1x Classic Player 1x Player over the age of 30 1x Player under the age of 22 A Maximum of 2 Players from our favourite club A Minimum of 1x Champions League/European Cup Winner 1x Player Minimum from a country outside Europe & South America No Messi or CR7 1x Underrated Player 1x Player you wish your club had signed   Tune in to find out who made our squads.

In episode 2 Sophie, Jordan and Dan talk all things football. Starting off by discussing the exciting 4-4 draw between Chelsea and Manchester City to VAR's many controversies this season. WE ARE BACK BABY. WE ARE BACK!!!   TheEmphaticFanatics return to the podcast scene in a new format. Jordan is returning but with 2 new accomplices in Sophie Jex and Daniel Clark and in the first episode of Season 2.0 what better way than to start it off with a bang by talking all things premier league from the North London duo in Spurs and Arsenal both high flying to Manchester United and Chelsea faltering from the get go. We are so excited to be producing content for you awesome listeners once again and can't wait to bring new guests on and hopefully bring different styles of podcasting to our channel.

In episode 5, Jordan and Theo were joined by returning guest River Costello to talk about his favourite team Aston Villa and the 3 other midland clubs Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City. In the episode they discuss how their seasons have gone so far and what they need to do to in order to climb up the league and finish in a modest position or even what needs to be done to try to stave off relegation. We also come up with solutions to where all clubs need to strengthen in the January transfer window and what players need to be moved on.

In this episode we discuss how all the groups are going in the Champions League, from Man City to Club Brugge we cover it in this episode. The episode was recorded a couple of weeks ago after games 1 and 2 however we chatted about how we felt the groups would end up looking after all teams play every game and discussed what has gone wrong so far for teams such as Liverpool, Rangers and Juventus. In episode 3 we discuss the latest derby game between Man United & Liverpool, with my two Co-Hosts having their say on the game and both their teams performances during the season so far. We look at some of the new transfers that have come in for United and discuss what Liverpool need to do in order to kick start their title bid. We also look into the latest protests against the Glazers and whether that will come to anything with the the rumours of the Ratcliffe consortium gaining attention. We have been out for over a year now and we do apologise for that but we are hoping to be returning with a bang and we have an episode that is sure to interest you. In this episode we discuss all things Premier League from the talent that the Top 6 are bringing in, to the players that bottom half sides are looking at to keep them from dropping into the Championship and we also talk about newly rich clubs like Newcastle United. We reached episode 30 of the podcast, never thought we'd reach this milestone and the team we are chatting about have achieved something they thought was impossible and that is Lille. They have managed to clinch their 4th Ligue Un title something which they haven't managed since 2011. We discuss what they have to do in order to retain this momentum and how to persuade some of their superstars to stay. We go on to discuss former champions and French giants PSG and what they need to do to get back on track but also look at how long the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Neymar will hang around the French capital club. We also look at the bookies favourites of which manager will be on Daniel Levy's shortlist and give our opinions on both managers and players that would suit their club ethos as well as big talking points on who out of their superstars may be out the door this summer transfer window. In episode 25 we delve into two London clubs, high flying West Ham who are on the the road to Europe and also Crystal Palace a club who are survivors but are a club who frustratingly aren't moving onwards. We go through both teams and work out what is going well, what they need to improve and where we see them going in the future. In episode 24 of the podcast the lads go through every Premier League side and grade their business A-F. They discuss the key signings and sales and what they think this will mean for the rest of the season. In episode 23 Jordan & Ronan welcome Mike Martin on the podcast to talk all about the Spanish Super Giant Barcelona. In the episode we delve into what the situation is right now with the club both at board level and some areas in which the team are struggling. We discuss how best to move on the older players and how best to utilize the young talent coming out of La Masia. We also discuss the situation with Messi's contract and whether this could be the end of his career at the Catalan club. Rangers have just been announced as Champions of the SPFL and in Episode 22 of the podcast the lads welcome Rangers fan Josh Jones to talk about his team's success this season. We also chat about Ronan's team Celtic and why they haven't been able to achieve their goal of 10 titles in a row. We speak about their last matchup against one another and also delve into the teams themselves talking about some of their current players and where each team should look to strengthen. We did record this a few months back so it was prior to the sacking of Neil Lennon but we do mention some potential options to fill that space as his sacking was inevitable. In episode 21 the lads discuss the last of the top 5 leagues in Europe which is the Seria A. We go through every team pointing out some of the key players in each team and talk about how the managers of the top teams are fairing such as Pirlo, Conti and Pioli. We talk about whether the two Milan clubs are now back to their best and discuss whether we think either can triumph over Juventus. The Relegation Battle is tight in the Premier League and 4 teams are truly in the thick of it, these teams are Sheffield United, West Brom, Fulham and Burnley. Can these teams save their season, is a signing or two enough and do the managers have what it takes to motivate their players? Will Sheffield United avoid the lowest points record, Can Big Sam do it again with West Brom and does Burnley's takeover mean Sean Dyche is short on time. The lads will discuss all in this episode and suggest how they can survive. In episode 18 Jordan & Theo discuss the two south coast clubs, Southampton & Brighton on how their seasons have gone so far and how the managers Hasenhüttl and Potter are transforming both into exciting sides. We go through where both clubs need to strengthen in January and in the upcoming summer and also talk about some of their keys players for the 2nd half of the season. We also have a quick chat about the controversy of VAR and what football authorities should be doing in order not to ruin the excitement of the beautiful game. We do apologise for the lack in episodes over the month of December, we have a number of podcasts recorded however due to unforseen circumstances and the holidays we have had a bit of a delay in posting these episodes. So this is why we are talking at the start of the episode about the sad passing of Diego Maradona and nearer the end about the VAR offside of Ollie Watkins.
