    Becoming: Jake Graf

Jake recounts his earliest memories of knowing he had been born into the wrong body, navigating puberty, family and sexuality through to finding the courage and clarity to become who he really is. Jake's story is one that has elements all of us can relate to, but the complexity and challenges are ones most of us can't imagine, but can certainly learn from. Jake talks about the expectations of him when he was a little girl, dressed in pink, through to his relationship with clothes today, with some memories that are both touching and harrowing. We're honoured he dropped by for a chat, as a new dad and busy film-maker and activist, and hope you get as much out of this episode as we did.

You go, Emeli. And remember everyone, keep thrifting!

Landing in Hollywood at the age of nine, to star in major blockbusters like Addams Family and Mermaids alongside veterans like Cher and starlet of the day Winona Ryder was no mean feat. Christina Ricci drops by to tell Bay how it felt navigating that at such a tender age, and how she found some elements of Hollywood "so high school". Figuring out who she really was and staying true to that has meant she's one of the most unique, intelligent voices we have today, and a wonderfully cool, unpretentious and fun person to talk to. We loved our time with Christina, we hope you do too!
