He has several television appearances including "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and a recent appearance on Byron Allen's "Comics Unleashed". He just finished up opening up for Louis CK in parts of Europe and Asia. He also performs at numerous corporate functions and comedy clubs all across the land. He is incredibly energetic on stage and mixes great physicality with simplistic brilliance. Very few people make me laugh harder. He's also toured and recorded with Tobin Sprout.  He’s the owner of Goon Lagoon Studios in Grand Rapids, MI where an artist can still record using good old analog equipment.  More than all of that, he was my co-worker at Believe in Music on Plainfield when we were in high school. My guest today is Tom Griswold!  Tom is the host of  “The Bob and Tom Show”. A show that started in Petoskey, MI in the early 1980’s, moved to Indianapolis in 1983, and then became nationally syndicated in 1995. In 2015, Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold were inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame, but MOST of all, 18 years ago he was willing to book a feature act out of Grand Rapids, MI on the show. They couldn’t have been nicer to me and Tom has been a tremendous mentor ever since. My guest on Season 1 Episode 2 of "Tight 10 with Dave Dyer" is Brian Vander Ark!  Brian is the founder of the college indie band Johnny with an Eye with his brother, Brad, which opened the door to greater things like forming the band The Verve Pipe!
