Shawn Bohlsen and Todd talk about the upcoming Pro-Am in which they are teammates. Shawn hasn't played in over a week, how might that affect a tournament player. Jackson Koivun won the 3M Open, he looks like a rising star. Both guys believe in the end it will be Kyler Murray as the starting QB for the Vikings.

Jeff Asche joins Todd and they talk about the local golf scene with the Hawk Invite just a week away. The guys will team up with Shawn and Snow for their annual play in the Eagle Creek Pro-Am. Jeff got a tour of the new Tepetonka Golf Club being built near New London. Jeff took the plunge on a fishing boat.

It's a Golden Gopher Thursday with Mike Grimm joining Todd. They preview the upcoming season. QB Drake Lindsey is getting some buzz as a possible 2027 First Round Draft Pick. Anthony Smith led the Big Ten in Sacks last and returns to a strong defense. The play callers also return from last year, meaning better communication and understanding of the calls. Could the SEC and Big Ten breakaway from the NCAA?

Greg Snow joins Todd and they talk about the British Open. Ryan Fox is fun to watch in part because he's an everyman, but also his rapid fire style. Both guys would advocate for a "shot clock" in golf. Todd was against it in baseball but it has worked very well with TV viewership up. Anthony Edwards said at FanFest that "I have nothing to say about it because I’ve seen his top three teams and we not in it, so…” Is that the final word? Feels like it.

Todd makes his weekly appearance on The Al Travis Show, which runs weekdays from 1-4pm on KWLM. Al admits to being tech challenged. The World Cup from a fair weather fan perspective. Al is off the Twins being a playoff team, Todd remains a bit more optimistic despite their slide since the break. Have they really been playing well, or has it always been a mirage? Anthony Edwards says LeBron isn't coming here. Strategic ploy, or outright truth?

Jeff Asche joins Todd and they preview the Palmer-Kise Tournament at Redwood Falls Golf Club this weekend. Why do they enjoy the tournament and course. Lefty had a great time with a group golfing on the 4th of July. Jeff watched Joan Beringer play for the Wolves in Summer League and liked what he saw. MLB Draft this weekend, Todd's nephew could be selected.

It's a Glden Gopher Thursday with Mike Grimm joining Todd. They talk about it being enjoyable to watch the Twins. Much more so that either expected before the season. Trade deadline in three weeks, what do the guys expect. Does Grimmer think LeBron James would really want to play in Minnesota? 

Todd makes his weekly appearance on the Al Travis Show, which airs weekdays from 1-4pm. Heat and golf. Al doesn't want LeBron because he believes even if they win the title then, it will all be about him. Todd disagrees for a few reasons.

Greg Snow joins Todd. Can it be too hot to play golf? No say the guys, but then they aren't your casual players. The 86th Palmer-Kise is this weekend at Redwood Falls, where it can be steamy.  Peyton Coahran and Brady Madsen dueled at The Crow Creek two weekends ago. Rinse and repeat this week at The Minnesota Open as they are near the top of the leaderboadr again. Greg says the golf in Minnesota right now is top notch. Is LeBron a fit with the Wolves? Do the guys want him here? From a pure basketball standpoint, how could you not?

Augustana has a new women's Volleyball Coach, a program Jeff holds close to his heart. He is very familiar with the new coach. If the Wolves could pull it off, would Jeff want LeBron James? He knows his sons would.

Todd makes his weekly appearance on The Al Travis Show. Former Wolves player Malik Beasley busted betting on games. Where is all this heading? Al is not a fan of the new two-tiered PGA Tour that was announced. Is it even possible for the Wolves to acquire LeBron James? Under one scenario, maybe.

Greg Snow joins Todd and they recap a terriffic finish by two outstanding players at Little Crow in the Crow Creek Classic. Greg said that "Brady just got outbirdied." Peyton Coahran showed some real mental toughness after making a "Snowman" on The Kingery Hole. Greg asks Todd "is LeBron James coming to the Timberwolves?"

Shawn Bohlsen joins Todd and they recap the Crow Creek Classic. Both guys impressed with Peyton Coahran and Brady Madsen. Those two seperated from the field, with Peyton making two birdies in the last three holes to claim the title by one shot and 6-under.  Each guy is a little disappointed in Scottie Scheffler of late, not due to him losing a playoff to Victor Hovland, but his actions around the game lately. Both guys are reserved about the Wolves getting LaMelo Ball.

Matt Williams, educator at Willmar Senior High and former head coach of the Cardinals boys BB team joins Todd. They recap the past school year. Matt has some coach insight into the Timberwolves acquiring LaMelo Ball. He has never played for a winning team. Could Trevor Larnach be traded by the Twins.

Jeff Asche and Todd talk about the Timberwolves trading Naz Reid to Charlotte for LaMelo Ball. Respect if not love for Wyndham Clark. The Crow Creek Classic this weekend.

Shawn says beyond the tournament itself his family hierarchy of golf with his sons is of great importance. The Florida trade for a Tkuchuk brother, what can the Wild do to improve the roster. Giannis won't be traded to the Wolves, where do they go now?

Jeff Asche joins Todd from St. Cloud and talks about the beautiful wedding he attended. Todd is playing in a tournament today, weather permitting. Both guys next week. The US open has some changing speeds on the greens, making it really tough. The College World Series is down to the Finals. Both teams, Oklahoma and North Carolina, are great stories according to Jeff.

Jeff describes an interesting and humorous turn of events in his league round this week. The College World Series starts this week.

It's a Golden Gopher Wednesday with Mike Grimm joining Todd. Grimmer hosted a fun event for radio play by play guys around the Big 10. Drake Lindsey making headlines with an arrest. Grimmer not sure why he was arrested at all and felt he should have received a ticket instead. Meanwhile Texas Tech's QB transfer has been proven to be an habitual gambler. In some instances, on his own team while at Indiana and Cincinnati. A judge has ruled a temporary injunction in the athletes favor leading to a two game suspension. Not good for college sports.

Not a recognizable leaderboard on the PGA Tour. Stanley Cup, NBA Finals and is Kyler Murray really the starter even though they won't name him.

Jeff Asche joins Todd and they talk local golf. The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village. Scottie Scheffler has gotten a little whiney lately it seems to the guys. NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, both guys will be watching, Jeff more as he loves the college sports scene. NBA Finals, both guys impressed by KAT's defense vs Wemby.

It's a Golden Gopher Thursday with Mike Grimm joining Todd. They talk Gopher football recruiting and how they handle the NIL. Grimmer thinks the owners initial offer was fair in the MLB CBA negotiations. He and Todd both believe we will see a work stoppage that will cost at least a potion of the 2027 season.

Greg Snow joins Todd and puts Todd on the golf psychologist couch. Todd had a wild swing in his game from Wednesday last week at The Classic to Monday this week at Greystone playing in a pair of MGA sponsored events. The guys make their picks on the NBA Finals. Are we rooting for or against Karl-Anthony Towns?

Shawn Bohlsen joins Todd and they preview the upcoming week in local golf. Shawn and Jeff and their sons competed in the Little Crow 9-9-9 tournament. Shawn raves about the condition of the course. Shawn previews the Stanley Cup Finals and believes the NHL should change how they run their playoffs. Shawn really doesn't want to see Karl- Anthony Towns win a title before the Wolves do.

Jeff Asche joins Todd and they talk about happenings at Hawk Creek, like the start of league and the Thursday scramble. Jeff set to play in the Little Cow 9-9-9 tournament. Saturday is a trip to Canterbury Park to watch/ bet on the horses. Todd says if he is at Canterbury, he isn't watching horses run, but cards fly. Jeff wants to see a tight game down the stretch in game 7 between the Spurs and Thunder, Todd just wants a Spurs win.
