You might think this piece has something to do with the popular song "Moon River". You'd be wrong. I tried out stacking a bunch of different sounds in one software synthesizer and played though a single note.

"Farewell, Atlantis" is my tribute to 30 years of the United States space shuttle program. It's composed of royalty-free music loops. The vocal commentary was converted from the MP4 videocast on NASA's site. I created this piece in July 2011.
